Goldmine of Information!

When I read the synopsis of this book it spiked my interest purely because of the extensive information it promised to unfold in the pages. Let me tell you, I wasn't disappointed in the least. It delivered and how! As a reader we are always looking for something that makes us glean information we haven't seen or heard through someone that is also legitimate. Although some of these simple hacks may have been read by us somewhere, I found a lot more I hadn't,which got me reading till the end of it reallyquick. This book works well as a reference guide and we can use most of these hacks immediately. Of course, do not take these hacks as your medical guidance but as a betterment tool to your existing health future.

I have had hormonal issues, and been on supplements so reading an entire research of sub issues that can co-exist was informative, not just that, with natural diet and additional changes one can work to keep it in check was good to know. Always have been advised to take vitamins for supplementing but with the market full of various products, which ones are the beneficial one’s for you and then is there a possibility of having too much of vitamins that can harm you? This book gives you the breakdown. Step by step and a pathway to chalk out a perfect route to a healthy lifestyle and a healthy you. From being conscious of the food we eat to the innocent way we absorb harmful chemicals in our body through the use of plastics and cleaning chemicals we use right here in our house. All contributing to your hormonal imbalances.

If you are looking for some beauty benefits and have been guilty, like many of making beauty mistakes or overlooking things that can harm the internal workings of your system to lead a healthy life, then this book covers that segment too. We all want to look our best and stop aging in its tracks. Who doesn't want glossy hair, white teeth and flawless skin? The author, Lynn Hardy has you covered. In this book you'll find cosmetic suggestions to natural methods and procedures. What Lynn has also added for the readers benefit is give you additional online links of her videos. She has her own YouTube channel with some excellent information on non-abrasive cosmetic procedures which she personally has got done. She talks about all those as well as takes you through daily diet plans of a natural and extensive medical and beauty regime.

You might feel like you've seen it all and done it all,but then you realize how much we tend to take for granted and overlook our health. Very easily the bad patterns in our daily life have just creeped up on us and now become the new norm as it's convenient. The book is like a little window of an eye opener and also a guide that, just as easily, we can set our body clock right.
Not always excited to read a self help book, but this book got me hooked. Have you ever heard of inclined bed therapy? Curious as I was, then you gotta get a hold of this book to find out life's little changes for major health benefits. I wouldn't want to give out the gems of information Lynn Hardy has in store for readers. Works perfect as your coffee table book. Sit back, relax and read your way to good health. Lynn Hardy's The Aging Games: How to Come Out a Winner, Over 100 Anti-Aging Tips, is a book that gives good advice for Readers from their 40's to their 70's or who are approaching those milestone years and want to face them with confidence.

Many of the tips that Hardy offers are affordable and can be easily done. Anything can help from using or making one's own non-toxic cleaning products to reducing WiFi usage (or at least not wearing their device and turning it off before bed).

Some of the tips such as improving sleep schedules, stopping smoking and drinking alcohol, and practicing stretching exercises such as Yoga and Tai Chi are frequently repeated in these kinds of books. Technically, Hardy isn't telling her Readers anything new. But sometimes, it's a good reminder to engage in such activities to improve one's health and well being.

The more provocative sections involve diet and certain spa treatments. Some may question Hardy's stance about drinking too much water and that a vegetable only diet may not be for everyone. But Hardy (and this Reviewer) cautions to please consult a doctor or medical professional before dieting, fasting, and eliminating important nutritional aspects from one's regular eating habits. By the same token, do not engage in such treatments such as microneedling that may be harmful if not done by a professional.

One of the best sections involves the ways that Readers can keep their brains sharp. Such hobbies like reading, crosswords, sudoku, and various brain games help preserve memory and keep the mind working.

Highly recommended for anyone over 40! So many tips for beauty and health that are easy to incorporate into your life to help age gracefully. Great resource and best anti-aging book I've come across!

I really enjoyed this book! There were tips, examples, pictures, and even links to sources to look into in case I wanted to learn more about a particular subject. I loved the way Hardy went about explaining each and every aspect and how detailed everything was. I especially loved how the book gives multiple pieces of advice for every topic. It really shows how many options we have when deciding on how to look after ourselves, and the way we go about doing so. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for ways to better their physical, mental, and emotional health. This book is most definitely worth the read and will definitely benefit the lives of the women that will read it.

I have been reading books, articles and blogs on alternative natural ways to look after your body for several years now. When most just recycle the same general information, this book has valuable insights and bold fresh ideas. The author is not scared to approach controversial subjects like coffee and drinking water. I have long suspected this whole drinking 2-3 litters a day was utter nonsense. It just feels unnatural and forced. Besides the quality of water is also not what it used to bee (let’s say) a thousand years ago, so by forcing ourselves to drink all those copious amounts of glasses of water we also let in all the contaminations that come as a “bonus”. We need more women like Lynn Hardy to come forward and share their insights, experience and knowledge. She has certInly inspired me to make certain changes in my life.

Getting older is something no woman wants to face. We spend so much of our time looking for ways to turn back the clock. I was so excited to come across this anti-aging book. It answered so many questions and brought to light so many tips that I look forward to using in my own life.

For me this is so much more than just a book. This is the ultimate Anti-Aging bible that every woman needs to read. Packed full of essential information not just to stop the aging process but to keep you healthy, fit and at an ideal weight. As a Kinesiologist I really enjoyed the mind/body/soul approach of the author.

Everyone wants to slow down the aging process as much as possible. This book gives some easy-to-follow tips to do that.

Consider getting rid of your chemical-filled cleaning products and switch to non-toxic brands. Get a good night's sleep every night. If that is not happening, you may need to sleep in a different position or raise the head of your bed by several inches.

Believe it or not, cholesterol is your friend. Eat more fat and protein, and eat less carbohydrates. Totally get rid of sugar and artificial sweeteners. Consider intermittent fasting. Choose healthy cooking oils, and consume bone broth.

Getting vitamins and minerals from fruits and vegetables (and sunlight) is preferred, but supplements are very acceptable. If you are so inclined, CBD oil is good to try. It doesn't contain any THC (the part that causes the "high"). Look into castor oil packs and liver flushes.

The author also explores cold therapy, epsom salt baths, getting a dog, stopping smoking, meditating, correcting your posture and ditching the sunglasses.

No one is expected to do all of these tips at once. Pick a few that you can make part of your daily routine, then pick a few more. For most people, this book is common knowledge. There will always be those for whom this book is a revelation. Yes, it is very much worth reading.

Aging is a concern for many of us, and aging well is always the goal. Lynn Hardy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to us in this book to help us attain that goal. She challenges the “Hollywood” notion of surgery and treatments to maintain a youthful appearance, and instead focuses on actual habits and methods to truly keep yourself young.

Focusing on mental wellbeing such as limiting Wi-Fi usage before bed, and physical well being by encouraging us to quit smoking and improve our sleep habits, she doesn’t tell us anything new, but reinforces those good habits.

She also tackles some more traditional mindsets, such as drinking 8 glasses of water a day, and brings a fresh perspective to the table. Definitely a good read.

This book was very informative and includes tips I never would have thought of. Such as LED and fluorescent lighting and just how toxic they are to us. Also how excessive WiFi exposure is linked to impaired memory, sleep disturbances, and reduced melatonin. Hardy gives us easy solutions to problems and habits I didn’t realize were so toxic. Give this a read, I am going to try many of these helpful tips.
