"Caste is an enclosed class" is probably the most important statement/observation written in South Asian theory, that shows how class, caste and gender are interlinked. Bojja Tharakam, being a senior activist lawyer who has engaged with communist circles and also was a leader in telugu ambedkarite circles, extends this forward to explain in detail but in simple words that annihilation of class and caste go hand-in-hand in India, and you cannot have one without the other.

A great starter for a lot of concepts and theories. Very concise and simple to understand, the translation adds to this.
