Genuinely the sweetest story I have read in a long time. Lots of representation, great friendships, communication, family dynamics, and just so perfect. I love when romance stories are able to focus on a lot more than just a relationship, but delve into the deeper and more difficult parts of emotions, trauma, and open communication with a partner. The epilogue was genuinely so sweet. 🥲

i mean seriously UGH 😭🫶 this was recommended by a friend (haha noelle u get a shoutout whether u like it or not) and i was NOT expecting it to absolutely consume my life for two whole days and make me monologue on my couch about finn and alex.

ᥫ᭡ pas— pas is literally everything i wanted from any love interest. ever. like literally in the history of books. the whole curly hair thing just made me adore him sm more than i already did and i just CAN’T 😭🫶 pas was prob my fav.

ᥫ᭡ nil + pas’s first kiss— AHHHHHHHHHH 🫶🫶 oh my GODDD. i mean like honestly could it have been more perfect??? i just love them sm it actually makes me wanna cry just talking abt it. i won’t spoil it but just trust me it’s WORTH the wait.

ᥫ᭡ alex + finn’s first kiss— ALSO AHHHHHHHHHH 😭🥰 i mean like… why r they so perfect?? there were moments where i was reading a nil/pas part and i was just waiting for alex and finn to come back. i love that their first kiss was messy and imperfect but just so THEM 😭

ᥫ᭡ nil + pas— ik this review has been like the same thing over and over again but nil and pas r they CUTEST 🫶 i just love everything abt them- nil playing with pas’s hair, nil giving back pas’s sweater, pas blow drying nil’s hair??? YES 😭😭🫶🫶

ᥫ᭡ alex + finn— i was just WAITING for them to happen and i loved their little romance side plot. it added so many layers to the story. and also finn getting his nails painted??? KING 👑✨ alex is such a good match for finn’s energy i loved them 🥹

When I started this webtoon, I did not expect it to engulf my entire life in a worm while of cuteness for three days. Everything about it from the art style to the characters to their names is adorable, through and through. Nil is so… frustrating, at certain points. On rereading, the story is a bit rushed, especially at the beginning when the author is still a little amateur. Overall, this story will make the gruffest reader giggle and kick their feet in pure glee. It is absolutely deserving of five stars, and I reccomend it and its spin off type-blind to everyone.

I loooooved this series it’s sooooo good, this is my comfort romance series, this is like close to heart stopper level of comfort.
It has a diverse cast and the romance is sooo sweet I’ve read this 4 time so far and it never loses its charm.
Pas and Nil are my friends/ children
We must protect them at all times ❤️

I started this right after my exams because I hadn't read anything in a month and needed something light and short, and Stare Down gave me exactly that. It’s a cute little romance with soft vibes and just the right amount of sweetness to get back into reading mode. Was it my favorite BL webtoon ever? No. But still a very adorable story and worth the read if you're looking for something easy, wholesome, and comforting.

OMG this was so cute and adorable and I love it so so so much! The art is so beautiful and awesome and the plot is amazing. And, like, the characters. I mean, who doesn’t love them all. Nil, Pas, and the rest of the awesome and amazing cast really make this webtoon standout! I honestly love it so so so much!
