It's a good book with good projects, specially for the price I got it on kindle, but there are some important problems with it: beware that some of it's links to exercises and stuff like that are broken and there are A LOT of spelling errors and some of them are meaningful for understanding the concepts. I won't quite remember the specific quote at this moment, but to give an example it would be something like: "you can't use list() to make a list when using a variable" and he meant 'can' or vice-versa. Another important thing: there are some points in the book that he switches from Python 3 to Python 2 examples and you simply cannot use it on a python3 interpreter because it won't work. It looks like he tried to reuse part of the manuscripts in the updated version of the book and forgot this part.

It's more a 3.5 than a 3 still.

Honestly I couldn’t get past the introduction due to the terrible grammar. I don’t understand how this author published this book without even having it proofread? There are also hyperlinks in the book? I am not sure how that is useful when it’s literally on paper but all in all, 0/10, do not buy. Can’t even return it because I bought it through a bookstore and it is printed to order. I would have left two stars if this author at least allowed me to return this terrible book.

Good in parts

I skipped the 'beginner' section and went straight to 'intermediate' which was good. However I found the 'advanced' section quite poorly structured and badly written. I eventually gave up on it. Considering it is free then can't be too critical!

I'm more of a learn while you do it person, but it was good to go through this after one year of working with Python like a review.

These books contain quite a few mistakes but they do introduce some useful topics that are worth exploring in greater detail from other resources.

A good book. It points all the basics aspects that a programmer needs. Some faults: it's missing examples about internet connectivity and etc.
