Explore other Universes. Hunt Deadly Monsters. Make a Profit. It's an interdimensional game of cat and mouse with lethal consequences... Jason Leaper 934 and his team of Reality Rifters are in a bad spot. Grieving the death of a dear friend while in the Wilderlands, Jason is really feeling the stress of their enemies coming after them. There's a demonic rakshasa who wants to eat him. Several undead creatures--nightmarish, mirror-image versions of themselves--are trying to capture Jason and his friends to deliver them to a mysterious, unknown nemesis. Hell--even Jason's own government is after him now. Trying to avenge their murdered friend seems like the only thing the Reality Rifters can do. But when Zayden Skinner (the manager of the Bounty Boards) summons Jason for a special job to hunt down a dangerous, dimension-jumping cosmic dragon, such an assignment might be just what the Reality Rifters need to help them evade their numerous foes. They have problems. Jason needs to unlock his full rifting abilities to complete the job and get the edge on their enemies. Riley, stricken deeply by his inability to save his dead friend from being slain by the rakshasa, is struggling to cope with his despair. Morgana is wracked with guilt for not doing more to stop the demon in their midst. Gliath is ... well ... Gliath. Will Jason and his friends survive a grueling battle between his Reality Rifters, the undead creatures after them, the rakshasa demon, and now ... a cosmic dragon? Monster Hunting for Fun and Profit (Books 1-6 + Box Sets + Extras) Travel to parallel and bizarre universes to hunt monsters for profit and adventure … with dinosaurs. Less language and dread than Apocalypse Gate, and boatloads more adventure. A little less horror, but a whole lot of focus on feeling cosmically insignificant. Think “Rick and Morty” with guns, gold, and mythological beasts. Six books and two omnibuses, plus short stories and extras.
Apocalypse Gate (Books 1-3 + Box Set + Extras) Modern, dark and violent, full of chaos and dread, bad language, wild and crazy monsters, and alien/demonic worlds, this series follows six sets of deep characters trying to survive the end of the world. You haven’t read anything like this. It starts with an EMP, societal collapse, and prepper/SHTF survival, then it gets weird and horrific. Three books, one omnibus, plus short stories and extras.

The deal of a lifetime, taking out a dragon, will take out your enemies!!!! But it’s a DRAGON!?!?
Jason Leaper 934 and the Reality Rifters have got two enemies after them, and they are the kind that is hard to take out. And boy have they tried!!! When they are offered the chance to have them wiped out for one small job, all of the members are tempted. There is just one small problem! They have to take out a monstrously big, and dangerous, dimension-jumping cosmic dragon to complete their end of the bargain.
The Rifters are all grieving the loss of a dear friend that was killed and then eaten by a rakshasa. They all swear to take her out, but she wants to eat Jason 934 because she believes that she will gain all of his powers to leap. Plus, they are still battling the gray team. A team of Rifters that are the dead version of themselves.
Will they defeat the grey leapers, kill the rakshasa, or take the job offered to them by Zaden Skinner (the manager of the Bounty Boards), and go after the Cosmic Dragon, knowing that their enemies will be following them also?
And the hunt begins…
What did I like? We all like to step out of our element once in a while. I do it all the time. I was born in the west, grew up with Native Americans, have lived in most of the US, and love reading. But reading is not just a pastime for me, I love reading for the pleasure of learning and sharing. Be it a fast action thriller, a love story, adventure series, western, or a good old science fiction storyline like this one. Eddie Patin has tempted me with 5 other books in this series that have kept my mind out in space, jumping from one dimension to another. I love the detail that he puts in his books, they all sound so feasible. I mean look, we are space travelers ourselves. We have been to the moon, now Mars, who is to say that this could not happen. Well, I don’t have to wonder, just stick my nose into Eddie’s books and learn what will happen next. It is fun!
What will you like? Mega ACTION, plenty of metaphorical beings, other dimensions to explore, death & destruction, robots, and love! You will be kept busy leaping around trying to stay alive, fighting off the enemies, taking out a dragon, and coming out on top! The descriptions of the weaponry are amazing, the battles come alive, the demons lifelike, and the ending amazing! Check out Eddie’s books and join me on these awesome adventures.
Patin is always great at writing action and chase scenes. This is why I enjoyed the first five books so much.
All of this combat and excitement is vivid and descriptive. The stakes are real. It’s nearly impossible to put down the book during this chase.
If you enjoy fast-paced sci-fi action and exploring strange new inter-dimensional worlds, you really can’t go wrong with these books. Patin introduces fantastic new monsters in each book, and creatively finds ways to overcome them. Each book in his Monster Hunting series is well-written, and Dragon Of The Quantum Void is the ultimate conclusion.
