I hate misogynistic and racist ideals described in this but oh well, what can you expect from a late 20th century Burmese writer. The story was, as usual, just fine. There are many spiritual aspect in this story though. But the insta-love romances makes me want to gag. Also, not much about Mya Nan Nwe as I hoped. While it's easy to read and such a "page burner," since I don't agree with some of the stuff in this, I'll just give it 2 stars.
