I first listened to Les Brown, as he motivated people and challenged them to rise above their circumstances, by actively doing something about it. Things don't change because we wish for change, but because we act. Action begets results.
What you are today is a result of what you did yesterday, and the day before. If there is something that needs changing, then change what you are doing.
This books echoes the fact that you can change your destiny, and this is by doing the work to get to where you want to be.
May these pages give you the spark to ignite your engine, to push forward, and make progress on what is stalled, but needs moving, or, to chart new paths and have the discipline to progress along it.

Another motivational book from Les Brown. He is short and direct to the points that will drive and help a person. I like his books because they don't contain many fluffs to make them thick.

It is an older book but the message is as true now as then. Good for morning thoughts or evening closure.
