This book was truly interesting. While this is not a practice I have ever been part of, I was interested in learning more about it. I truly appreciated the various historical facts scattered throughout and found it to be quite intriguing. I may purchase some crystals of my own. However, i did deduct purely due to the writing style. It was very immature and full of grammatical errors and inconsistencies. Overall, I will likely reference back to this book.

I’m surprised at how much I loved this book! To be honest all this essential books from barnes and noble are really good. The crystal one is full of tons of information, from what kind of crystals to use for meditation and ect. It has amazing information on each crystal and some background on localities and history.

Very comprehensive. I feel like I learned a lot. It was pretty much what I was looking for. Rating was taken down because the writing was a bit too casual for my liking (do crystals really bring “good vibes?”)

Overall I would recommend for absolute crystal beginners.

This book was exactly what I was looking for. It breaks down common crystals/stones with a picture, description, some basic historical facts and the common use/ meaning of the stone. It even has little sections explaining things like divination, crystals for healing and oracle stones, cleansing.
