Sharing Violet: A Steamy Student-Teacher Love Story

Rate this book
Imagine me, single, middle-aged and content, spending my days teaching English Literature at a university in Southern California. I had created a perfect life for myself, and had every reasonable expectation that it would go on forever. And then Violet showed up.

I’m Violet’s first love. She’s my last.

The stories in this volume are an explicit account of the sex adventures we have had during our first ten years together. They are stories about The Lifestyle, about sex clubs and swinging, about sensual excess and experimentation, about multi-partner and anonymous sexual encounters. More than anything, they are stories that expose my intoxicating and shameful need to see Violet’s beautiful young body handled, pleasured and penetrated by strangers. I have always been deeply aroused when somebody else gives Violet her orgasm – and when she gives theirs to them.

Because I’m an English teacher and a bodybuilder, these stories are peppered with reflections on the body, on fitness and conditioning, and on literature. I catch myself reporting on the politics of couple swaps on the dance floor, and brooding over Tolkien and Saint Augustine in the middle of three-way sex.

These stories also involve another kind of Sharing Violet. We have shared these sexual experiences with each other, and they have for the most part involved sharing her body with other lovers, men and women.

Now, we’re sharing them with you.

In his introduction to this book. Malcom explains his and Violet's situation. He also includes this wish for us. "I want to see if written sentences can compete with visual images in producing sexual arousal in a consumer." I have to say he succeeded in this goal beautifully! His written words tell the story in living color! I felt the moments. I felt the stirrings. I felt the passion. I felt the attraction. I felt the tingles. I felt the feelings! A beautiful unselfish love story!

"This sounds cocky and narcissistic, I know. But it isn’t. "

Oh, but it is. Everything about this book is arrogant and narcissistic. It's a self-published diary of the author's sexual proclivities with his former teenage student, now wife over the course of ten years.

Writing a novel about how great your sex life is arrogant enough as it is. But to create your own publishing company to self-publish your sexual exploits is quite possibly the most cocky thing I've ever heard of.

I admittedly only requested this book because I wanted to tear holes in it from cover to cover, much like I'm sure Violet's holes have been torn apart over the course of the events in this novel. But I knew it would be irresponsible of me to not give this book a fair chance.

The introduction chapter reads like a rambling mess. It's all over the place, like something you'd expect to hear from some drunk guy at a party, bragging endlessly about his sexual conquests while also flaunting his vocabulary.

So how does the novel fare as smut? The rambling on about uninteresting, unrelated side details unfortunately creeps its way into the chapters. It seems as if the author can't begin a page without going on about some side details that should have been added to the introduction.

If it wasn't for all the unwelcome, dull, boring and downright annoying details that bog down the stories, I could actually recommend this book. If you find yourself reading this book, you'll surely take note of how some stories are drastically better than others. You'll likely only find yourself doing a single reading of the book, as you'll quickly grow tired of re-reading the unnecessary details on any subsequent read, when you just desperately wish the story would get to the point.

NOTE: This copy was provided to me free of charge as an advanced reading copy. The opinions stated in this review are mine and mine alone, I was not paid or requested to give this book a certain rating, suggestion or approval.

Malcolm Lloyd, ‘Sharing Violet’.
A Love Story.
She learned way too much, way too fast…

As an ARC reader I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily promised an honest review. Here it is.

Rating: 4,5 (of 5 stars).

In general: Magnificent older man/young girl erotica.

Main characters:
- Malcolm ‘Papi’.
He’s the ‘I’-figure in the book. A professor of English Literature. Violet is his much younger student. She seduces him. They start a relationship, marry and discover living in the ‘lifestyle’.

- Violet ‘Vi’.
Before she came to the US ‘Vi’ had been religiously raised in a Latin American country. She became Papi’s student when she was 18 years old. And seduced him three years later.

Papi and Violet tell their love relationship in 12 separate stories. Their first threesome, her first facial, the sex club experiences, etc. Intensive sex scenes often described in detail; not only the physical aspects but also the feelings and emotions of the main characters during and after the action. Only the last story ended for me a bit with a question mark about Papi’s attitude to the situation. But, all in all: high quality erotica!

Our hero is a teacher, our heroine the student, but this is not the typical romance.

While this is a student teacher romance, it is not about the usual taboo. This is a romance and it focuses on sharing. The story is well written as a series of short stories, mostly from our hero's perspective, but a few from hers. There is definite chemistry between the characters that carries throughout the stories and there is plenty of steam as well. The I really enjoyed it right up to the end where the author throws in a twist which I am not sure I cared for. Overall, it was very enjoyable but don't think you know the ending until you get there.

Recommended.

The telling of a married couple Papi and Violet with a considerable age gap and their hot and steamy shenanigans/ encounters they get up to with others. Violet a virgin pursued and seduced her then professor now husband for years until they got together before her 21st birthday. Not much else of any back story or anything outside their fun sexual shenanigans/ encounters though. Written well and a must read for those who like some steam.

I received an ARC through HiddenGems and this is my review.

I enjoyed this steamy student to teacher romance story. This is a new author for me and I look forward to reading more in the future. This is a well written story that bring romance and steam to a new level. It is a fast paced story that kept me turning pages to the end. The characters made the story feel realistic and brought life to the story. I enjoyed the growth of the characters and what they bring to the story. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was very interesting an how you wrote it. It was almost like a journal of the main characters Papi and Violet. All the different sexual adventures they had were pretty exciting. You are a great writer. You put a lot of detail in your writing. It is almost like we are witnessing what the characters are feeling and doing. Can’t wait to read more of your books.

I received an ecopy of this book from Goodreads in exchange for a review.

Steamy and uninhibited, this older man- younger woman sex-capade first nudges open the doors to sex clubs and all that goes on within. In ‘Sharing Violet’ Papi and Violet involve the reader in their lifestyle of sexual exploits, their giving and taking of sexual pleasure.

Something more!

It’s a different kind of romance, it’s filled with a lot of sex! It’s told in a way that holds the reader attention through each line. At first I didn’t think I was going to really care for it, but after getting a little ways in there is a lot you can learn from this. It’s not just sex there’s love friendship, compassion. It’s a good read!

Erotic short stories include a Violet threesome and a man-seed facial. Enticing and raunchy tales that are big on experimentation. A pretty good read!

This was ok. I can't say it was more than that. It just follows Violet and Papi through their whole sex expeditions all the clubbing and orgys. Didn't like the last chapter made me mad.

It was an interesting take, but after a second read it's kind of inflamed. It was spicy, sure, but that's about it. i got through it for a second time without recognizing why I bothered to be honest.
