Ugly secrets can be buried in even the most beautiful of places, and Abigail Brooks is willing to dig them out. For a chance at a normal life, she’ll stop at nothing. Abigail has finally chosen to face her biggest fear head on. Breaking the curse she unwillingly inherited from her ancient ancestor, the legendary Everly Jones. She’s determined she can break the curse once and for all with the help of her love, Benjamin Blake, and the Blake brothers. Only, things don’t go exactly as planned. An unseen threat lingers and thirsts for penance due. Not that enemies are anything new to this wild bunch. Friends will reunite, new ground will be broken, new romances will be formed, along with new alliances. Of course with the Blake brothers, there’s always plenty of fun to be had, along with trouble. In this final book of the series, there’ll be a wedding, a funeral, someone new that no one ever saw coming, and one really pissed off dead witch.
My life is colorful, crazy and beautiful. I'm married, I have three daughters and seven pets. I'm extremely good at multi-tasking and have undying energy, so I'm told. I don't sleep much or even stay still for long. I have an out of control imagination, which led me into writing. I love food and music. I travel at any and every opportunity I have. One of my goals in life is to see more of the world. When I'm not reading or writing, I'm probably riding my bike, cooking, or hanging out with my family and pets.
"We fought for each other. We earned this." If you like paranormal romance, check this one out. Abby and Ben are a super sweet couple and their love story is tumultuous, but enduring.
I think I probably should have read the rest of the series, before this one, but it was still good. Especially if you like paranormal stuff. I'm not usually into that sort of thing, but this was a suggested read and I figured I'd give it a chance, and I was pleasantly surprised. This story was intriguing and the couple is perfect together. So swoony. I won't give too much away, but be prepared for a few surprises!
