“Suddenly, I’m horny. Like, really horny. Like Niagara Falls in my panties, horny. Like Old Faithful in my vulva, horny. Like a monsoon in my bush, horny.”

I can never express how much I love Eva and Mia! Their stories are so quirky and off the walls, but both of them together? It’s an inappropriate and hilarious mad house! This book has tons of humor, possessed objects, and is a great start to Moonlit Falls.
Honestly, I think the reason why I love Nephrite so much is because I see a lot of myself in her. She was in a relationship where she had to completely suppress and change who she was and she’s not willing to lose any part of herself again, even for her mates. Rob, oh Rob. You are now tied with your cousin Bob for the most coveted book boyfriend. He’s so genuine, funny, loving, and caring and I could just stash him in my house to keep the rainy days away. My next favorite guy was Cham- I really appreciated the mental health rep that these authors did even though he didn’t understand what he actually was. His anxiety was making me have anxiety, but it was written really well. August and Bas were probably tied for me and their situation was very different.
It was great seeing Amber, Julian, Sapphire, and especially Bob again! We got introduced to a ton of characters in this little town and I can’t wait to see more of them and Mocha. Diva was my favorite side character and she’s going to be getting her own story too. I’m so excited to see what all of these baby authors are capable of and read Alexandrite’s story next!

Me reading Storm a few months ago: can't get any more bazaar than this

Nephrite: Hold my beer!

What a way to kick off Moonlit Falls. New series, New Town, Same fun vibes. I love the concept of Silver Springs having a sister town, full more supes finding mates, more wacky, laugh out loud moments. Both Eva and Mia always surprise me when it comes to their stories (in the best possible way). I literally could not stop laughing. They seriously need to co-author more often. Loved it so much!

I received an ARC and voluntarily gave my honest opinion and review

Absolutely hysterical and heartwarming story. This is a spin off series from the silver springs books so if you are a fan of those jump on this bandwagon quickly. This is the first of 12 new books and it doesn't disappoint. I laughed such on my break in work I think people thought I had lost my mind. The entire book was crazy and chaotic and exactly what I needed to bring me out of the slump I have been in. I seriously can't wait for the rest of these books to release to see what can possibly top this introduction to this crazy town.

great first book in a new series. Neph is opening a cafe in Moonlit falls but things just are not going the way she wants. While trying to handle all the chaos she ends up meeting four very unique mates. This book kept me laughing all the way through. Can't wait to see what happens in the rest of the series.

With Eva and Mia you never really know what to expect. However, a spin off from the Silver Springs series, this time in Moonlit Falls, count me in! I was quite curious how Eva and Mia would kick off this new series and I'm even more curious to discover all the other characters and their mates in all the other books of the series. Luckily the wait wasn't too long for me and the authors gave me this arc. I'm happy to write an honest review, though!

Sometimes I wonder if there's a limit to the amount of crazy Eva and Mia can write. I don't think it exists, because each and every time they surprise me once more with new crazy plots and how much I end up liking them. This plot is totally crazy, it's also absolutely chaotic and there is so much going on that at times it's quite a challenge to keep up with everything. But it's also hilarious, funny and incredibly clever.

What I like is that this book has a little more plot than just the girl getting her men. I have to admit that in this case the romance isn't too easy and there's a lot our characters have to talk about and deal with. Especially Charm, my favorite character in this book, has quite a traumatic past and has to come to terms with the demons hunting him and everything he's been through. However, it's the crazy plot helping him with that.

I also really loved the other guys and of course Nephrite. I love how Eva and Mia manage to make all these characters feel real. They all have their own lives and personality quirks. Although the book isn't too long I really get the feeling we got to know these characters and of course especially Nephrite. And it's not hard to understand why the guys are falling so badly for Nephrite. She's funny, she's smart and she knows what she wants.

I can't wait for the next book in the series!

When it comes to Silver springs, the first two books I always look forward to are from there authors. So I was both curious and excited to see this one was both. Jewels cafe is now a franchise and the pumpkin spiced lattes are back, along with the old characters. Amber, Julian, Bob and Sapphire.

Rather than funny, the whole thing just felt awkward. Neph recovering from a failed marriage had way too many horse puns.

Then there were the guys. Bas, the best friend with a secret in his pants. Rob, Bob’s cousin and method actor. Cham, the sudden show up running from hallucinations and August, the secret in Bas’ pants.

Skipping past all the relationship awkwardness, the best part was the possessions and fulfilling the lingering regrets. I’m looking forward to Diva’s story. It’ll be interesting to see who romances the espresso machine.

Moonlit Nephrite is filled with the perfect blend of delightful insanity and extra-hot steam that you expect from a co-write between Mia Harlan and Eva Delaney.

The humour will make you laugh out-loud and the creativity is off the charts. I really hope they keep up the co-writes because this was so much fun to read!

This book gave me all the warm and fuzzy feels. I couldn't quit smiling after I finished!
In typical Eva and Mia fashion, the characters are fun, relatable, and loveable. One thing I love about these two authors is how they branch out from the norm. In place of more traditional shifting, they bring unique and quirky shifters to the mix. It's a recipe for some amazing laugh out loud moments. It's a fast paced story, (everything happens in one day) but it doesn't feel rushed. I read it in one sitting. This amazing pair of authors definitely need to team up more often.

P.S. Everyone needs to find themselves a McBoberson.

Moonlit Nephrite is a completely nutty read and i literally couldnt breath i was laughing so much from it!! Branching out from Silver Springs to Moonlit Falls Jewels Cafe gained new franchisee's - Neph (a Shetland Pony Shifter) and her friend and medium Bas. Only their opening day things go a bit awry in spectacular fashion with the contents of the cafe gaining their own lifes. Bringing a a few new mates for Neph too - Bob, August and Cham. This was a brilliant caper of a book. Great characters, lots of laughs and a little bit of steam. I loved the pop up of characters from the Silver Springs group of books. If the rest of the books in this series are like this one i cant wait to get my hands one them

Eva and Mia are at it again in the spin off series of Jewels Cafe with a story that's bizarre, quirky and lots of fun. A story where all the main characters are finding their truths while having lots of fun, interesting banter and interactions along the way. Add to that possessed items needing to move on and you have a really fun and wild ride. If you enjoyed the Jewels Cafe series, I think you'll really like this new "franchise." Happy reading!

So Eva and Mia teamed up to bring you Moonlit Nephrite and this book is good. Be prepared for some laughs. So lets travel to Moonlit Falls which happens to be like Silver Springs. So we are going to meet new characters and reasons for mate bonds to form. Now Nephrite finds her mate after drinking some PSL and oh man does this get interesting. So we have Bas, August, Cham and Rob who will be her mates. Now Bas and August are the interesting ones. I had many laughs with these two and you will find out why when you read this book. Then Cham, poor guy has no idea about his origins. Rob is just funny. However, something happens and this could put a delay in opening the new coffee shop in Moonlit Falls. Get ready for a new series with some crazy things going on and finally finding love. Can't wait to see what Moonlit falls has in store for us readers.

OH.MY.GODS this book was hilarious!!! I absolutely loved it!!! I swear, these two authors makes magic together.

It was a perfect introduction to Moonlit Falls. We had magick gone wrong, fun shifters, peculiar possessions, hallucinations and lots of other fun. We also get to meet a lot of Moonlit Falls inhabitants and I can't wait to read more about them.

If you love the Silver Springs universe, then you'll definitely love Moonlit Falls.

Well written fast paced story was a hilarious page turner!

This was definitely a quirky read, full of drama, silliness and RH love. The characters were fun to meet and how their relationship unfolded was well paced, exciting and hot. Spirits sure abound in this hilarious story and its a great opening to the series. I can't wait to see what's next for Moonlit Falls ;D

Mess-tactic! Nephy starts our series in Moonlit Falls which seems to be a town full of magic, similar to Silver Springs. Nephy is a hot mess! But she is hilarious! The people around her just adore her quirks and we quickly meet lots of new town folk as they rally around to support her as she collects her harem of hotties!

I love MoonLit Falls. This first book is off to a great start and is written by two great authors. It’s a well written, fun and quirky read that had me laughing out loud in places with its wonky magic and possessed furniture! Throw in some hot and sexy mates and you have a great introduction to this series. If you loved silver springs then what are you waiting for??

Cute, Quirky & Ridiculous

This was an easy, silly read. It flows effortlessly with decent character interaction. The romance element is tragically bad, but if you want something to read where you won't be too invested one way or another, then this is a good bet.

Great little read when you need a pick-me-up. When the magic goes wonky and ghosts are trapped in the cafe's furnishings, what are you going to do? Who can't laugh at an opera singing penis or a diva now trapped in an espresso machine. Not me!

Mia Harlan and Eva Delaney kick off the new world of Moonlit Falls as only they can! Nephrite’s dream is coming true. She’s always wanted a shop of her own, and thanks to franchising with Jewels Cafe, it’s happening. But like our favorite cafe in Silver Springs, magical mayhem I s around the corner.

Join this adorably cute new cast of characters as Moonlit Falls opens its arms to one and all. With a strong start, the rest of this season promises to be excellent!

Neph is a pony shifter. She’s opening a franchise store of Jewels Cafe in Moonlit Falls and when Julian and Amber come to give her the recipes for their drink, Julian’s mischief magic sparks up. Neph finally finds all of her mates— a human, her medium best friend who has a part of his body possessed by a spirit who also happens to be Neph’s mate and a chameleon who thinks he’s crazy.

You can definitely feel the Silver Springs vibe in the story; however, it’s only a 3-star review for me because some of the things happening in the story are too crazy for me.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

Moonlit Nephrite is fun, quirky, and one hell of a wild ride. Eva Delaney and Mia Harlan writing together was always going to be the best kind of chaos, but between shifters who are convinced they are psychotic, possessed furniture, a method actor, and a penis who wants to see the world, they have created a book that will keep you reading right to the end.

Hold on to your wits!
I would LOVE nothing less than to be a fly inside the head of these authors while they plan and write their books! What an imagination. Who knew possessed junk was a thing?
But only in the best way.
If you are going for a hilarious, laugh out loud, rom-com with a HEA smothered in a paranormal glint, this is THE read for you.

Mia and Eva are great writing together, they each complement each other's writing style which creates a magical story. The story follows Nephrite who is the owner of a Jewels cafe Franchise in Moonlit Falls. For the readers of Silver Springs, you will totally love this spin-off.

Moonlit Nephrite is book one in the Moonlit Falls series and this book by Mia Harlan and Eva Delaney is HIL-AR-IOUS! My advice? Don’t read this book in a library, or eat/drink anything while you read this book. You are in store for quite a few hilarious scenes and situations in this book that you will literally be laughing out loud. This book is such a delight and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series when it comes out.
Meet Nephrite, a pony shifter! She’s a shetland pony! How cute!!! Seems that she has a bit of a sticky past with a nasty ex, and so after getting free of that loser she’s now a bit shy on having mates. Too bad, because she’s about to find herself saddled with quite a few. She already knows about one, but things are complicated in that arena, but more on the way and boooy howdy are things going to turn her life topsy turvy! It all goes off the rails with the appearance of...Rob aka Roberto. These two authors had a ton of fun writing this book because the variety of characters and situations that they give readers is off the charts. Coffee shop items being possessed with spirits who need help crossing over, a health inspection to prepare for, and some unexpected meetings with fated mates...you’re not going to want to put this book down.
Now, if you’re thinking...okay, so the reverse harem romance shows up, but what about some steamy? You won’t be disappointed. The humor adds a nice layer of steamy to start things off, but there are some steamy scenes to come in this book as well. I’m not going to go into any details to avoid spoiling the fun, but I probably fell out a couple times regardless. So...prepare yourself for the fun. Lol
I’m am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. These two authors worked beautifully together to create this fun story and I can’t wait to return to Moonlit Falls for more antics, romance, and fun. If you read the Silver Springs series and enjoyed those books then I’m sure you’re going to enjoy this series just as much if not more.

This is what I get when I sort Kindle Unlimited by ratings. I am giving all these perfect 5 star ratings the side eye now.

I made it to 25% before I couldn't take Rob's pirate talk any more.

At 26% Nephrite gave us this gem and I was done.

"I wonder if I can find a way to out-weird Rob, and nod sagely. “I can make a latte by holding the milk steamer in my vagina and a spoon in my butt.”"

I love humorous, quirky books set in equally wacky supernatural towns. This book took all those elements and ruined them. I think the author confuses quirkiness with immaturity. If all characters were 5 year olds playing kitchen (or cafe in this case) and you took out all the sexual themes, the story would make much more sense.

I know humor is subjective, but if everything is meant to be funny, then it comes across as trying too hard which is decidedly not funny. Like my art teacher once said, you have to have contrast, light and dark. If all you do is shading, you will just have a black piece of paper, (and if you are a leftie like me, the entire side of your hand will be black as well) and if you don't have any shading, your creation will not have any depth or realism.

I get that it is a fake world with fake magical creatures, but there still needs to be believable motivations for said creatures and logical rules for your made up world. The non stop ridiculousness had me zoning out when I wasn't too busy cringing at the dialogue. If it wasn't for the sexual subject matter, I really would have thought the target audience of this book to be children.

I bounced between 3.5 and 4 stars. I ended up rating this book a very high 3.5.

To summarize this book, imagine a bag filled with hyper toddlers, chaotic-ness, sprinkle in crack, throw in 2 shaken up 2 liter Coke bottles, a bag of mementos, and a exploding bomb of rainbow glitter. That will get you close to this book craziness!

But I will say between chapter 13 and 14, I was laughing so hard!! 🤣🤣 OMG those two chapters were probably the best out of this whole book!! 🤣🤣🤣 Freaking hilarious!!!

Neph is a Shetland pony shifter opening a cafe with her best friend Bas (the manger and mate) who is also a medium. Something crazy happens and her whole store and items within become possessed by spirits that haven’t moved on. Oh! By the way the store/health inspector comes the next morning to approve the opening.

So, they have to help the spirits move on quickly. Neph gets some help from her other mates that she meets that day. Rob, who is an actor that bounces between acting as a pirate or Zorro from 9-5. Cham, who thought he was insane and hallucinating because he was raised as a human not a supe. And the weirdest one of all (which tbh, I found to weird) August, who is a dead opera singer that has possessed the male anatomy, the penis, of Bas. Yup! You read correctly, August is Bas’ talking penis and mate to Neph.

Told you this book is weird and crazy!

The book also had multiple POVs.
Sexiness: 3 out 5

This review is of my own opinion.

Ok, still quirky and fun to read

I like that this series is connected to the Jewels Cafe series and Silver Springs, the crossover characters made this fun. But the story itself wasn't hitting the mark for me, I'm not exactly sure what it was that I didn't like, I just know it wasn't like reading other books from these authors. I can say that, a lot of this book felt very random to me. I get the feeling that the authors had a lot of frun writing this book and envisioning some of these scenes playing out, but a lot of them felt random and didn't always make sense to me.

And the thing with Bass, I still really don't understand that one at all. I don't want to cause any spoilers so I'm not going to mention what it is, but it was kind of weird and I don't understand how that was possible at all, when you read the book, you'll know what I'm talking about. But I will say Neph took the situation in stride and her reaction was cute and the reaction of the other men was hilarious and I'm glad there was no toxicity from anyone about it.

I feel that with these shared world series some are a hit or miss and it definitely just depends on the reader. This book was still fun to read and I did enjoy it, it just wasn't one of my favorites. I definitely recommend this, it's still very funny which is one of the biggest reasons why I love these books, and its a standalone so even with the crossover characters, you can read this one with ease
