I really liked the premise of this fic and enjoyed the first bit. It had so much potential but I quickly grew bored and frustrated with the direction the fic was going. The resolution to the kidnapping was anti climactic and I needed more meaningful family moments- instead the writer rushed through years 6 and 7. And I usually like Theo but in this fic, I didn’t really buy their relationship. Hermione was so smart and powerful that Theo came off as beta. I did enjoy her friendship with Harry and Sirius and the bones of this fic are good, but it needed to focus more on character development and relationships and less on weird school events. I really wanted to like this one…two disappointed stars.

One of the most compelling aspects of Face On the Milk Carton is the transformation of Theo, a character who barely registers as a blip on the radar in the original Harry Potter series. In this fanfiction, Theo emerges as a fully fleshed-out individual, complete with his own backstory, motivations, and personality quirks. His unwavering support for Hermione and his quiet strength make him an undeniable standout, stealing the spotlight in every scene he is in.

It's truly remarkable how a not even secondary character in Harry Potter can be so thoroughly transformed by fanfiction. Theo's evolution serves as a testament to the power of imagination and the boundless potential of fan communities to breathe new life into familiar worlds. Through the skillful hands of the author, Theo becomes a character worthy of admiration and affection, enriching the story in ways that are both unexpected and deeply satisfying.

Dont get me wrong, the story is BONKERS, but it is worth it, speacially if you, like me, hated the original Malfoy arc, and also hated thar hermione settled for Ron, whe she deserved much better! This one is also a breeze of fresh air, for the ones who are tired of Dramione stories!!!

I closed my reading marathon with my go to fanfic!

If yall like just crazy cute stories, no need to look anymore, this book is insane, creative and just overall amazing"

It's no secret that Theo Nott is my favorite, and that him and Hermione are in a sacred place in my heart, seeing Lucius bonding with hermione is so perfect, Draco as her brother is refreshing and magical, and I also like the weasleys as "villans".

If you are bored, this is the perfect read for you!!
