BrodyMy job at Chartreuse Clover Pub is what I love, but it comes with a hitch. Working alongside a woman who I'd love to love. With her brown with blue swirls eyes, and her coppery hair that seems to be the squall of a storm, she's special and yet, off limits. All because of a sign in the breakroom--"No dating coworkers!" Or something irritating and equally as unrealistic. One night she makes a move and I'm ready to prove we can be more. And our hearts instantly know each other's. But then she's missing...I'm not about to give up on what we have. It wasn't just a fling. It was everything.
MaeOh, he's a babe...and I don't mean just a hot piece of man, I mean years younger than me. And we work together. And I'm loud and obnoxious. Whereas he's sweet and quiet. After a simple kiss, I can't stop myself from wanting more. And more. But there's something missing from my life and it'll hurt...but I can't have him. Will I return to my homeland of Scotland and to the independence I use to protect my heart? Or can Brody rescue me in time to change both of our lives?
If you love strong, spunky women, and hunky men with Irish accents, this is the Instalove Hearts series for you! Sláinte!

Mae and Brody work at the Chartreuse Clover Pub. They’ve had eyes on one another for a while but there’s a no fraternizing policy. To make matters worse, Mae is only in America on a work Visa. This was a sweet funny story. The characters were genuine and when they’re together it’s electric. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The world will end, but love and music will endure
Brody is the second book in the Hearts at Chartreuse Clover Pub series and is a charmingly sweet and romantic story about Maelyn "Mae" Digby and Brody O'Reilly. Mae is twenty-five years old and Brody is younger...but that has not stopped the two of them from eyeing each other up with some good old fashioned lust involved. They both work as bartenders at the Chartreuse Clover Pub which has a strict "no getting involved with other employees" rule. But as we all know rules are meant to be broken. Mae and Brody may both be gingers but they are very much opposites. She is Scottish, born and raised until her family moved to NYC when she was thirteen years old. She has a fiery temper on her and a habit of saying what she thinks and acting first. Brody is quiet, thoughtful, observant and reserved. Even though Mae is a bit older than Brody that does not mean that he is not man enough to step up to her and take the lead, but smart enough to know when to just let her do her thing and he will follow.
I loved this story as Brody and Mae are just to wonderful characters who make a great couple. Once Brody finally has Mae his is not about to let her run away from him, especially when it could involve a whole ocean between them. He knows exactly what he needs to do and does not hesitate. After all he has loved her since he first saw her all those months ago even if neither of them knew it at the time. This is a definite RECOMMEND READ!!!
Love is in the air again at Chartreuse Clover Pub and the couple is Brody and Mae. Mae is Scottish and older than Brody who is an Irishman; but that doesn’t stop Mae from going after what she wants even though there’s a no fraternization policy if effect.
Mae and Brody have been lusting after each other and saying things to each other letting the other know that they’re interested. They finally get their hot night of romance.
Mae has been MIA at the pub and Brody thinks it’s because of him. He goes to Thorn and lets the cat out of the bag about he and Mae. Thorn informs him that Mae’s is headed back Scotland with her parents and she cannot stay in American because of an expired Visa which she never renewed. Brody is not ready nor willing to let Mae and devises a plan to keep Mae in the states by proposing and marrying her.
This is a short novella with romance, great main characters and HEA. Working at Chartreuse Clover Pub is the perfect place for romance.

I liked this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. Mae and Brody both worked at Hearts at Chartreuse Clover Pub where there is a rule that says you can't date your co-workers. Instead of dating, they have been making eyes at each other. One day there is a kiss between the two and when they discuss the kiss, they find out that they both want more. If the story said how old Brody was, I totally missed it but Mae has to be around 25 so he can't be THAT much younger than her. There is a small amount of drama but Brody takes steps to resolve it the way he hopes it will go. While I wish there was another epilogue further out, I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

In the second installment of Brynn Hale and Ally Crew's Instalove Hearts at Chartreuse Clover Pub series, co-workers and fellow bartenders Brody and Mae have both been lusting after one another for months . However, with a no dating policy in effect, the Irish-American Brody and Scottish Mae have kept their feelings to themselves. Mae is also a couple years older than Brody and thinks she may be too brash for his taste. But when they are left alone one night to close the bar, they disregard the rules - and neither are sorry. These two are ridiculously adorable together - and incredibly steamy. This is a fun and entertaining quick read!

3.5 Stars First things first; I like the cover of this book! Brody is the second book in the ‘’insta love hearts at Chartreuse pub’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Brody and Mae are co workers at an Irish pub. Both have a crush on one another but will they ever make a move? The chemistry between Brody and Mae is clear to see and I liked them together. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.
I thought that this was a really sweet book. Mae and Brody are co-workers but they both wish to be more but company policy and these two not telling the other how they feel, just prolongs these two coming together. These two have one incredible night together but then Brody doesn't see Mae for 3 days and starts to worry. When Brody finds out what is truly going on, he will stop at nothing to keep Mae by his side, even if it seems a bit OTT. I really enjoyed this book and I can't to see what happens next with Jason! I would recommend this book and these two really great authors.

Thus is a short romance. Brody and Mae have bee m working at the bar for awhile together. They have each had feelings for each other and finally show the other how they feel. Then Mae finds out her parents are moving back to Scotland and she cannot stay as she does not have a visa unless they are there. What will happen? Will their love be lost and not be able to get off the ground? Great story and characters with a HEA.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the Instalove Hearts at Chartreuse Clover Pub series. In this book, Brody works with Mae at the pub and is in love with her. Brody would never admit it to her because he is scared of losing her friendship. Mae returns from a visit home to Scotland and wants to make it knows how she feels about Brody. They both are in love with each other but are scared to admit their feelings. I love this series. I loved Brody and Mae together. I think their friendship helped them fall in love. Another good one.
Both Brody and Mae work at a pub where they advertise no dating fellow employees. That one sign has caused Brody to hold back all of his feelings. One night they’re working alone and finally give in.
I enjoyed the different characters in the story as well as being able to appreciate their actions to keep the story going. This is a sexy short story that makes you want to spend a little more time in this world.
Brody and Mae are bartenders at the Pub and both have feelings for the other but there is a rule about no dating with fellow employees. When something comes up that may tear them apart things change between them and life takes a sweet and steamy turn. This is a short romance with likable characters, forbidden love, steam, family drama, and a great ending. The characters are likable and the ending is great. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Broken Rules Mae (Scottish) and Brody (Irish) work at the Irish Charteuse Clover Pub under the management of Thorn. Both of them have been checking the other out more than not. One of the rules so there is no work drama is not dating co-workers. They never dated but boy did they break the rule. Mae is being deported because her father is returning to Scottland for a job. Brody knows the exact way to keep her here. All of these books are enjoyable to read.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. True love triumphs in this story. Brody and Mae finally get together despite the no dating rule at work. Unfortunately Mae's visa is being revoked because her parents are returning to Scotland. Brody finds out and proposes and Mae accepts. Now Mae can stay in the States with her love.
The author has given us a wonderful older woman/younger man story. Brody has loved Mae from afar since the pub has a no dating coworkers policy. However, one night brings everything to a head when Mae grabs him and kisses him.

Brynn and Ally are back with book two. The story of the Irish Brody falling for the Scottish ladder named Mae. Co workers aren't suppose to date. But when these to end up with a night of hot passion. Nothing can keep them apart. Except one tiny thing. Read the story to find out. Love isn't love stories. They are always passionate, hot and full of kick butt characters.
Brody and Mae had to overcome a few challenges and perceptions in order to connect at a more personal level. I loved the hilarity and wisdom that their coworkers and family members brought to their story.
I read an advanced copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest review voluntarily.
This was sweet and funny. Mae and Brody have some struggles in the beginning and the side characters only added to the hilarity. It's a little over-the-top, which adds levity to the story. Overall, it's short but enjoyable with some steam.
This is the second book in the Instalove Hearts at Chartreuse Clover Pub series, it's sweet and steamy and both Brody and Mae are incredibly likable characters. The chemistry between them is steamy and the banter between them is fun.
Cute and sweet. “Forbidden” because they’re coworkers, Mae and Brody like each other without the other knowing. Things get out of hand on the clock a couple times. Brody standing up for them to Thorn is adorable. He is definitely there for Mae.
Brody has lived Mae for awhile now but never acted cause of the rule no dating co workers Mae just found out she has to go back to Scotland she is being deported Brody goes to her ask her to marry him and they have their happy ever
This was another great read from these authors. They know how to keep you entertained. This is Brody and Mae’s story. There was no separating them when they got together. Love will always override anything. Looking forward to reading the next book
Everybody deserves to find their happily ever after. Spice, sweetness and sparks mixed in with love is the perfect combination. Why not in a bar! Perfect!
