McCoy Known as The Stallion of Chartreuse Clover Pub, I'm not one to settle down. When a sassy tall drink of woman gives me the eyes--you know the ones--the ones that say..."It's on", we rush into something we're both not prepared for. A night with her leaves me feeling like I've found something I can't walk away from, and I'm confused when I'm reprimanded for following my heart. Aylette is smartmouthed, brilliant, and passionate, a trifecta of a woman I never knew existed. But when I find our love written into the pages of her book, will she help me to understand why, or will she return to the shelter of her fictional world?
Aylette I only needed to find a man for a night, not forever. Someone to inspire my muse to return so I can get this book done! When McCoy speaks to me, something happens inside of me, a fluttering that I've only ever written about, never experienced. I push the foreign feeling away for a night with him. One night. That turns into two, and three, and I'm feeling confused and yet, more inspired than ever. McCoy is Irish coffee steaming hot and cozy, and he's the bad boy this good girl has never experienced. My fictional worlds are my safe-space and this man has taken me out of my comfort-zone in so many ways. Can I show him that being a part of my fictional world and my real world can both happen with respect or will he go back to his wild ways, leaving me to only have the memories?

"He's relentless. He's Sexy. And unfortunately, he's sticking around."
What do you do when you are a romance author who's muse has taken a vacation along with any action between the sheets....well you walk down to the Chartreuse Clover Pub and see if you can find a man to ride for the night. At least that is what Aylette Whitehaven decides to do. After all the pub is her regular place when she wants a drink and her roommate is Becca, who's father owns the pub and man managers it. McCoy is one of the bartenders at the pub. He is an young, sexy Irishman who has the luck of a leprechaun when it comes to women and the size to back it up. But his mother, who moved to Vermont with his gran for her health, has been trying to get him to settle down. She even picked out a sweet nurse "that would be perfect for me". But McCoy is a stallion running free in the very open fields of NYC and is not about to be caught and put into the barn of a relationship. So one evening at the beginning of a snowstorm he heads to the pub for a drink and to see if there are any willing women he might like to give a ride. Aylette and McCoy are equally matched as they flirt and talk over a drink at the pub. But Aylette really does not have any "game" even though she can write it in her books. But they end up making a quick exit and drive back to her apartment for a night of some real fun. With Becca staying at Thorn's because of the snowstorm the apartment is all theirs and they are going to make really good use of it over the next couple of days. For some reason McCoy does not want to leave......and Aylette is somehow okay with that....even though neither of them can quite explain what has happened. However, things take a turn and then even more large craters are put in the road for these two, which includes one overzealous Becca who may be well meaning but things go to the extreme for McCoy at work. Will these two commitment phobic singles be able to have a future together or are they going to be running across the fields of NYC all alone forever?
This is a sweet, sexy and funny story with two characters that are so great to watch as they figure things out, sometimes with a kick in the butt from others. I really loved this story for me it is a RECOMMEND READ!
Aylette is an author and she is in somewhat of a slump for her next book. McCoy is a bartender and works at Chartreuse Clover Pub and is known at the Stallion and Aylette can most definitely attest to that name.
McCoy’s mom is on a mission to get him to visit her because she has the perfect girlfriend for him. On McCoy’s day off he is at Chartreuse Clover Pub and he spots Aylette sitting a booth having a beer and watching him and writing notes on a pad. He goes over to the booth and has a seat and they talk for awhile and he takes her to her apartment. They have a one-night stand that lasts for about 3 days. The two are great together, awesome chemistry and are both looking for the same thing more than a one-night stand.
Aylette thinks that McCoy is being bothersome and lets Becca know and Becca informs Thorn and he suspends McCoy. McCoy informs Aylette that he has been suspended because of her and she takes care of the matter. McCoy uses his time off to visit his mom and the lady that his mom wants him to meet but there is not a connection. He has fallen in love with Aylette and wants her back in his life. I enjoyed this book and revisiting Becca and Thorn.

I read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fourth book in the Instalove Hearts at Chartreuse Clover Pub series. In this book, McCoy sees a young woman at the bar one night when he was off duty and decides to go talk to her. Aylette was a romance author and was lacking inspiration, so she decided to go to the pub in hopes of finding a one night stand. Aylette and McCoy go back to her apartment and have an amazing night, but a snow storm keeps them there all weekend. Alyette keeps waiting for McCoy to leave, but she is also still enjoying his company. McCoy thinks he has found the one and is reading to commit and leave his playboy ways behind him, but Aylette is not ready for that and sends him on his way. I really liked this book. I liked McCoy, he was a great guy and he really cared for Aylette. I think she was scared and never thought she could be in a relationship. I liked her too, she was strong willed and i think she never expected to fall in love. Good one.
The fourth book in Ally Crew and Brynn Hale's wonderful Instalove Hearts at Chartreuse Clover Pub series is McCoy's story. Romance writer Aylette is having a difficult time finishing her most recent book, and her last was rather lacklustre after a bad breakup. Looking for a one-night stand to get her creative juices going, she heads down to the Chartreuse Clover Pub, owned by her roommate Becca's father. McCoy, a tatted-up Irish bartender at the pub is off for the night, but pops into the pub for a drink and soon finds he is the object of Aylette's come-hither stare. These two have instant chemistry - and one-night turns into a few days when a snowstorm blankets the city. Aylette finds herself inspired, but pushes McCoy away while battling her past hurts. This is a fun and entertaining instalove romance, with a roguish but swoon-y hero and a smart and sassy heroine.

3.5 Stars First things first; I like the cover of this book! McCoy is the fourth book in the ‘’insta love hearts Chartreuse clover pub’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Aylett is an author with writers block. After heartbreak, she isn’t looking for something more then ‘’fun’’. McCoy is a man that has no interest in being tied down. When he meets Aylett, he wants her but will she give love another chance? The chemistry between McCoy and Aylett is clear to see and I liked them together. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
This was a very hot, enjoyable experience. It’s more than just a read, it’s inspirationally to all who reads it.
To be honest, it’s good to see a strong confident woman, going after what she wants. But strong enough to be vulnerable to love.
I’m looking forward to seeing what could be next in the wonderful world of Brynn Hale.

McCoy walked into the pub on his nite off and he seen show Paulette taking notes and was staring at McCoy so he went over to her table and found out she was a writer and was looking for inspiration so they left went to her place he knew the name sounded familiar but couldn't think of why come to find out becca was her roommate. She needed space so she made him leave. The more he was away the more she wanted him. So she sent him an audio of her book. He showed up at her book signing and they got their happy ever
Aylette is a romance writer who is having trouble with her muse and needs a little inspiration so she heads to the Pub. From the moment she sees McCoy she's inspired and is feeling things she has never felt before. They have one special night together and that was all she needed, or so she thought. This is a steamy read about two people who never imagined that one night at the pub would turn into so much more. I loved the way the author brought these two together and I was cheering them on to get their happily ever after. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Oh my hot and steamy from the start. Aylette is a writer who is drawing a blank. She goes to the local pub for inspiration. In walks McCoy who immediately becomes her inspiration. They leave for a one night stand and research for her book. Turns into more than she expected. Will she give in or stick to her guns about it not going further. This is a fast steamy read with a HEA.

Aylette is a writer and is having difficulty finishing her current romance novel. She decides to head out to the Chartreuse Clover Pub looking for inspiration. There she meets McCoy who takes one look at her and feels the chemistry spark between them. They agree to one night but soon it becomes more. Aylette no longer knows if her feelings are real or just part of the book she’s writing. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Aylette is a writer facing a block so goes looking for inspiration in an one night stand. She gets McCoy and so much more than one night. McCoy falls for Aylette but pulls away when he discovers she put him into her book. I liked how Aylette wins McCoy back.
Torrid self-seeking 4.5 It's an interesting story from the cold-starting side of heroine Aylette, a writer who is lost with her blank page in a romance, then lost to the man who then inspires her work, McCoy. The story is simple, but the script is quirky and hot. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
The author has given us a wonderful instant attraction story with McCoy and Aylette. She is a writer in a slump and just wants one night with a hot man, however, their one night turns into three days and they each want more. Will she allow her fears tear them apart?

I loved reading about McCoy and Aylette - they were amazing characters and their insta-love story was just so sweet and endearing. I'm so glad I read this book and I would love to read more about them and their future.

Short and not always so sweet. Aylette basically runs scared after an intense few days with McCoy and really hurts him. When he read what she was writing, my heart hurt for him. At least she fixes it. I would not say the characters were fun, but they were good. McCoy is a catch when he decides he is in.
Aylette and McCoy meet by chance and hit it off. Unfortunately both enter unknown territory and due to outside forces their connection could be severed before they can figure out their feelings.
I read an advanced copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest review voluntarily.
This was short and sweet with some chemistry that can't be denied. What was supposed to be one night for Aylette and McCoy turns into more when he wasn't looking for that. I love how Aylette turns to her book when she feels inspired.
This is a well-written standalone story in the Instalove Hearts at Chartreuse Clover Pub. The storyline is interesting and fun to read, there is plenty of chemistry between McCoy and Aylette.
This was book four of this series and it was another great read. It was McCoy and Aylette’s story. Even though it was a short read it got to the point with no second guessing on what was happening. Great job authors
