I really enjoyed this book. A vast amount of diverse super powers, hot women and a lot of sexy time. What's not to love. This is a world full of people with super powers. Nothing as amazing as superman or wonder woman, but there are people that act as heroes. Other people have powers that aren't as flashy such as the MC DJ. He works 3rd shift as an IT specialist and has a unique power. Once he knows someone well enough, he gets relationship points with them and allows them to help them. he can make someone more confident, a little stronger, maybe help with that infection they have. He also gets points to improve himself when he helps other people. He upgrades his talent and is able to do more for other people. He meets a girl that figures out what he is doing and asks to study his talent. They fall in love which gives him a ton of points and he uses that to upgrade her to the point she can become a hero. He goes along with her as her support. Then the world changes Overall I really enjoyed the book and am looking forward to the next one.

The story premise is pretty good. A guy increases by helping others develop. And then it went to shit. All of the sudden there is a girl who inserts herself into his life and then he's in love. There is *no* character development in this book. Anyhow with book two he turns into a plate spinner because for some reason he has to bed women because his score is greater than 3 and the president says so, and he doesn't want to etc. etc. Then its all about the harem, and the book quickly turns into a slice of life narrative. It just gets boring.

beta and bad writing

Pass this and thank me for saving you. Beta mc trend. Prob because it’s beta authors writing these lately. The writing is bad too. He actually says things like “6am in the morning”. Is there another a.m. I’m not aware of? Plus he calls his coffee cup a ‘mug’. So douchie.

Pedantically written, with no real heart. MC is appreciated at work, liked by everyone he meets, and in excellent physical shape. His minor power is flexible and amazingly helpful. He meets the ‘perfect woman’ who gets all of his jokes. His relationship with a ‘real’ superhero is poorly foreshadowed. Oh, look, MC saved the superhero.

It’s kind of boring. There isn’t anything ‘wrong’. Oh, there are villains, but they are abstract and not part of the story at this point (20%).

The prose is clean.

Meh.

The simping of the MC was getting pretty annoying towards the end. Like, a girl probably doesn't need to be told how great she is at something six times in the span of 5 minutes. That, and the book ended too soon, like, it didn't feel like a complete book. Probably not continuing the series. This Baginbott dude is 0 for 2 now with first books of a series, so i'm probably going to avoid him from now on.

Really good

Super hero book that turns into apocalypse. Humans got super powers from mana. Years later plants and animals evolved due to mana. MC can upgrade people based on relationship points. Then can slowly upgrade himself. Slice of life harem with super powers. Can't wait for next book.

Fun and Characters to care about

Quickest meeting meeting a person to dating her I have seen outside anime hentai tropes. I love how comitted the main characters are to one another, but I wish the author would take more time to flesh out the characters with preferences and foibles. Delivery of plot could some blunt edges as well. Overall a good, quick read.

Good read

I was worried about some of the other reviews, but I must say I totally disagree with their opinion. Thought it was a good read and the characters are pretty well put together.

This is a romance with a hard pivot at the end.

The setting is poorly done while the characters are lacking any meaningful descriptions. The story is non-existent. Given the relationship, the pivot at the end is ridiculous. This fails on multiple fronts.

Fun and entertaining

The group dynamics are very good and the plot is set with enough mystery to keep the reader guessing about what is actually happening. Looking forward to Book 2!

I liked the idea and the writing is competent. There was too much slice-of-life and too little action for me to really enjoy it, so a 3 it is for my overall experience.

Good Balance

Struck a very nice balance between harem elements and the plot. Also created "Hero " characters that were more relatable and not OP. Can't wait to get the next book.

Nice first book of the series

Interesting take on the supper hero/ litrpg/harem story. The MC is a strong character but not an alpha male. He is easily relatable and humble.

This was a quick read, it gave off ‘supersales for superheroes’ vibes, with a less developed plot and with a goody two shoes MC. It was okay for a while but I quickly lost interest. 2.5/5

Fun tale

Nice premise with a pretty decent plot. A bit of descriptive sex towards the end but it did not take away from the story. I am looking forward to more.

Very fun

This was a lot of fun. It's harem, so there is a fair amount of spice. It's a perfect way to relax on a weekend afternoon,

Highly recommended.

Note to self: the MC narrator reads in a "learning English as a second language" style. No thank you.

I enjoyed this slice of life story. I believe this is the author's first book. There was some dialogue choices that did not seem realistic, but that did not deter from the book. This sets up the world and situation for future books in the series.
