I’m glad I was able to read this series without having to wait how ever long for each chapter. As the author said themselves, this is much easier to understand when you binge read it.
I liked the characters well enough. The art was a good contrast of sharp lines and soft colouring. The world building, not to mention the creation of a whole other system for these powered people was good.
There were problems that kept popping up throughout that I didn’t particularly enjoy. Such as how Joy’s pheromones were so strong, guys had no choice but to attack her! Or what happened with Moowoon’s mother…
Not sure how I felt about the ending nor how some of the characters' stories ‘ended’. There was enough personality that I kept going back but doubt I’d read this again (and that doesn’t even have anything to do with the length of the series!)
I REALLY LOVE THIS STORY! There was nothing that I hated or disliked about this story. The plot was planned out very well and the love story was very well developed. Although, I have to admit, the love story that the MC went through was somewhat cliche (at first) but that’s definitely not a bad thing. The MC, Joy, was really well developed as the main character; she started off as a weak girl who refused to accept her surroundings to a strong and brave girl who tried her best to adapt. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO READ THIS!
This was just ridiculous and I should have know better! Especially since the author went on a hiatus after season 1 cause she had no idea what to do with the story!
It was an Ok story.... kept me entertained at least! It was trope heavy and cheezy af, but the world the artist made has potential to be a great show or movie.
It was interesting for sure, and the artwork...well, I'm giving it a three just because all the faces were very VERY similar. I mistook characters sometimes..
I’m a sucker for these types of storylines. I would have liked a little more development of the characters but I just could not stop reading it! It had cute romance and humor. I loved it.
Some of the characters were a little flakey. I wasn’t a fan of Roctor’s character because he really didn’t give me any villain vibes at first. His plan seemed really under thought and I wasn’t sure why Ethan’s emotions would effect him so much if he really was as psychotic as the others said he was. By the end I just felt sorry for the poor guy. His situation had to have been lonely and no one seemed concerned that his mental health from living so long alone could be complete trash. Dude wasn’t a villain, he was just really lonely.
It was also never explained just why Deven had a thing for his best bro’s girl or what really happened to Ethan’s sister. The development of Moowon’s parent issues was never really fully resolved. His parents are made to seem like important characters but that goes nowhere. It’s never even really decided if Moowon discovers the truth about his mom. At least Dia and Raine had a semi explained end, but a little more time could have been spent on that since again it seemed like an important link that just kinda fell off the map.
The whole baby talk scene from every couple got a little old since they literally all had the same conversation at some point in story, but I have to say I was a little sad not to be able to see little Joys and Moowons.
While I enjoyed the jokes made at Ethan’s character and it’s thanks to him Joy and Moowon finally bond, his character was all over the place. He seemed really weak and for being “M Clan’s strongest” he sure did a lot more blood vomiting than anything really BA or helpful. Not to mention he had no right to have all the feels for Joy he did when he was so underhanded.
Point is there are weak points but over all I loved it! Plus I died when Jade pulled out the ab humor. All these washboards being flashed around, someone had to be an abs fan.THANK YOU JADE! The artwork was really great too. I love d the style.
I loved this story. I couldn't stop reading, so glad I was able to binge the entire thing! I wish there had been a little more to the main couple and the villain but its all came together so nicely. I really enjoyed it. Definitely a slow burn but BEYOND worth the wait.
The author seems also sweet and leaves little comments and footnotes which are really fun to read. I hope he know how well his writing and drawings are.
This was a very cute and often humorous romance graphic novel. I really liked the concept. Super hero-esque people in a world with normal humans and "carriers". The two main characters were pretty great and likable. Some of the side characters were really well done too. The series did drag a little in parts but I still really enjoyed this one.
Fun fantasy story. Did anyone else kinda (really) root for Roctor through most of the story? I kind of wanted there to be alternate endings, just so I could see how it would be if she ended up with Roctor and/or the professor. And David Heun. Wish Devon’s story had a good ending, too. They all need their own series!
I've been seeing a lot of good reviews about this manhwa, so I tried hard to read it. However, the art, the story's progress, and the storyline are not my cup of tea, so I decided to drop this manhwa instead of pushing myself more to read it.
