Meanwhile, the lecturers are stepping up her workload, her magic lessons are more intense than ever, and someone’s out for her blood.
Her last year at Fur ‘n’ Fang was never going to be easy.
The Alpha of Alphas has taken a personal interest in her – for all the wrong reasons. If she can’t convince Draeven her loyalties lie with him, there’ll be more than honour at stake.
When one of her closest friends is caught up in the most heinous crime known to shifter kind, Jade faces her toughest challenge yet: save his life, and avert a bitter conflict that could destroy them all.
Can Jade unite outcasts and alphas alike to stand against the greatest threat Fur ‘n’ Fang Academy has ever known, or must she make the ultimate sacrifice?
You’ll love this shifter academy adventure, because there comes a time when every victim becomes the hero.
This is a good series. Well written our mc is strong and leads us on one hell of an interesting adventure. Exciting, entertaining and full of action, danger, romance, suspense and a few surprises making this a great paranormal romance.
This is book three of the Fur ‘n’ Fang Academy series and the main character is Jade, who was a normal human until she was bitten by a wolf two years ago, while out at her uncle’s farmhouse that she had inherited. She was picked up by academy enforcers and imprisoned in the dungeon until she agreed to attend the school and learn how to control the werewolf she had become. Unfortunately, she also had to contend with a curse rage that a powerful druid had placed on the hybrid wolf druid who bit her and three others. They escaped from the school and have been in hiding ever since. She is now starting her third and final year with her only friends, Mei, Dean, Leo and her boyfriend Cam. Dean is no longer an alpha and his father’s pack was disbanded after they tried to take down all the shifter and druid academies and to take down the Alpha of Alphas Draeven. Jade is having to continue to work even harder this year, as she must pass the academy’s exams plus magic tests at the druid academy, so she is having extra magic lessons, but at least not on a Friday night anymore.
Dean’s younger sister has just started at the academy and won’t speak to him because of what she sees as a betrayal of their family and their alpha, which has left her now labelled as a cur and facing bullying from day one! She shouldn’t be out of the academy grounds but somehow ends up at the local pub and garners a lot of attention, not that this will lead to anything good. Lessons are now more intense for the third years and they have to start thinking about what they want to do after they graduate, if they do. Alpha of Alphas Draeven seems to be taking close notice of her and has a job offer for her, but not something she could ever see herself doing unfortunately. She keeps having a few run-ins with the head Alpha Blake and doesn’t seem to be able to stay out of trouble. One night when she and Cam go to the pub, she spots Ryan, one of the Bitten that she became friends with and tried to persuade to give the academy a chance. He wants her to join him, Brad and Laura as they start to gather more supporters to take down Alpha Draeven and the whole werewolf legal system. They believe that Alpha Draeven is a monster and will kill them on sight, and Ryan has been brainwashed by his best friend Brad about how the wolf Alpha of Alphas and the enforcers would treat them. Jade tries her best to get Ryan to give himself up, especially after she is badly injured outside of the pub, when she is attacked in an ambush by his friends and some new bitten they have recruited by force. Creating a Bitten is one of the most heinous crimes a wolf shifter could be accused of and is punishable by death!
Dragondale Academy invite her to visit, as they believe they have managed to create something that will stop the second hand rage curse she is still suffering from, but it might have a high price and cost her everything she has become, but maybe give her a chance to regain what she had lost. A very difficult decision and she has to make it within a couple of months, before she graduates! She always wanted to study law at university and originally had sent in an application before everything went haywire in her life. She causes more problems for herself and the others when she doesn’t report the contact with Ryan at the end of the summer and also at the pub. Alpha Draeven starts to feel like her loyalties may be with her friends and the other Bitten, rather than her academy and the alphas, never mind Alpha Draeven himself as her ultimate leader to be obeyed and shown respect. Not something she is very good at, considering shifter etiquette is very strict and she isn’t very good at keeping her thoughts to herself or following the rules!
A massive threat is coming and it seems Jade and her fellow outcast friends are going to be in the thick of it, as Brad and his group of Bitten grow in numbers, as innocents are infected on mass. Brad wants the Alpha of Alphas Draeven killed and has plans to attack the academy. He doesn’t care who he hurts or kills, unlike Ryan who at least still has a little humanity within him. Jade may have to make the ultimate sacrifice to defend her new way of life and the academy she has come to like. Her actions throughout the final year bring her back to the hated dungeon, more punishment and lots more trouble, which could prove deadly. Alpha Draeven may have shown he admired her spirit at times, but some of the secrets she tried to keep, the results of some of her actions have hurt others, caused innocents to be bitten and deaths to occur. A cracking storyline in this book, with even more danger coming on Jade’s head as well as her friends and others. Lots of action and difficult decisions to be made, especially as final exams are about to take place and job offers have to be accepted or refused. Her life since she was bitten has never been easy, but this year at the academy could very well be the end of her! I’m not sure if this is the end of the series, but I would love to see what the main characters get up to after their graduation and where they end up. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
We have action, suspense, lies, truth and being one's self. Jade is back for her third year. Will she make it or will her mouth get her in trouble? Now the feral bitten are causing problems. She wants to protect one who she knows can control his rage, but will he listen to her? Brad is out for blood and he will not stop at anything to turn more humans into bitten curs. Cam is staying her her side, but can he help her? What will his family say? The Alpha of Alphas has been amused by her, but what will happen if he thinks she betrayed him? So follow the adventure of Jade and her five friends to see where they may all land or die.

I have really loved reading this set of stories. Jade and her classmates are forever getting into trouble and rescuing others from trouble. Jade does not do well with rules and is guided mostly by her instincts to do what she thinks is right. Since she was changed and did not grow up as a shifter learning the rules and understanding alpha and witch leadership, she ruffles a lot of feathers. Paranormal fantasy is not really a genre that I have read much of until recently. This author has captured my interest with her lively detailed characters and fabulous world building.

Jade is back for her third year and of course things go as well as the last 2 years. Danger, craziness, secrets, intrigue, friends and enemies abound, and asking myself will she survive to the end. Was hooked from the beginning as usual to see what she and her friends would face this time around and how Jade would get out of the major confrontation I just knew was going to happen as she cannot have a smooth school year. Laughed and groaned and wanted to slap a few people but was amused and entertained the whole time.
Jade and her crew are back for their third and final year at Fur ‘n Fang. As usual everything is full of drama. The other bitten are after Draeven and want Jade to help and the Druids have given her an impossible choice. Not to mention the shocking offer from Draeven. Jade finally grows out of her self-centered attitude and takes others into consideration when making decisions. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
The wolves have gone mad! There are rage filled wolves making more wolves to start a war and overthrow the alpha of all alphas. They have druid magic too! They are out of.touch with reality and totally untrained. Only Made can match them but she doesn't share their philosophy of its and rage. She is impulsive but training. She is loyal to the alpha and her friends.
Feral Bitten (Fur 'n' Fang Academy Book 3) by C. S. Churton is an amazing story to read. This is book number three in this amazing series that I have been hooked on since the beginning. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about urban fantasy.

This book covers everything that I like about shifters and magic. The school serves up amazing food and the story is well constructed and easy to read. Great book well worth a read. Recommend it
The fact that the author used "\me and Cam " or me and what ever was extremely distracting. You would think that someone who is such an accomplished author would know better.
What a conclusion to this series. It’s been a roller coaster of one. For me this series has been great and this book is just as good as the first. Plenty of action and lots of shifter love, fab read
