Sundown

Rate this book
If you ask Sundown if this is the end of it all? Maybe. Maybe not. F*@k if he knows.

A dark split should never be the one to drive. But when the primary idiot checks out with a shattered heart, what choice does Sundown have? He’s got to keep shit together. He must keep Madness at bay. The Grid has fallen. And now everyone is counting on him to save the day. Insert brutal laughter here…

Deja Bloom not only lost everything but her sight as well. She’s somehow survived and when a grumpy man she couldn’t see saved her, she found herself in what was left of the Grid world. And her savior? There’s something about Sundown that no one is saying. But Deja is smart and she loves a good mystery. She might just regret that hobby.

The end of the world is knocking at humanity’s door. And Sundown was never given a plate in Reno’s life. Lucky him to finally have one overflowing, cracking, and spinning out of control. And somehow, some way… love crept in through the mess in the form of woman with a sharp tongue and crazy adept at hitting him with her damn stick.

If only he had to the time to finally claim her and love for himself.
Minus that stick…

About the Author

Born and raised in Texas, Ward is a mixed bag of creativity spinning tales of paranormal, urban fantasy and even dark romance and horror; wrapped within a love story.

She’s been dared by her readers to write a few contemporary romances but even those reads have characters that are real and twisted by their creator. It did, however, spawn her romance tag line: Romance - The Ward Way.

Mother of three diverse and independent bold children, Ward prides herself for being the “Queen Niche’ Bitch” which is a handy way of saying she sucks writing to market.
But her readers don’t seem to mind.

Tears, soooooo many tears were shed while reading this. I couldn't put it down though. The setup for the final book is amazing and I can't wait to get my hands on that one too. All the favorites and a few new faces make their presence known. Just keep reading!

Have you ever wanted to love and hate an author so much? Well Jas is the author for you. Sundown had me curled up with a cup of tea and an angry growl to whoever tried to disturb me as I absorbed this tale. Page turning and tear jerking and angry screaming all within the 5 non stop hours it took for me to read. Sundown tells the story of the other half of Reno, the one who was left to deal with the mistakes and manages to find his love. Deja is one of my favourite HEA's. I cannot recommend it enough. This tale is worthy of a man such as sundown and the whole grid. A must buy!!

Do you ever just look at a book and know that its going to break your heart, stomp on it before shattering it into a million tiny little pieces on the floor. But you still want to read it and even preparing yourself for that heartache...you continue to read. Well you’re about to read Sundown’s story, the dark side of the Hero – Reno Sundown.

And if you’re like me? You’ll probably need to wrap that Kindle up in cotton wool or bubble wrap or something soft. Or read on your laptop cause there is no way that you’re going to throw that. Thankfully I didn’t...and I’m pretty sure my laptop is very happy about that as well.

Jas T. Ward continues to breathe life into these characters, many that we’ve followed from the very first book as well as introducing so many new lovable characters. Characters that are flawed in their own individual way yet that's what makes them so perfect.

SUNDOWN (Book 9) takes you on an emotional journey, one that will make you mad in parts, cry happy snotty tears of happiness, laughing your ass off and there is quite a few parts that do that. I love Sundown's no filter.

Then there are other parts that leave you crying your eyes out. If you would like an emotional roller-coaster then this book will do exactly that.

Setting it up perfectly for the next book - Faith. And I can't wait to see how this series concludes (and when I say I can't wait, I'm both excited to see how Jas T. Ward will conclude this amazing series but also sad that its coming to an end) This is a definitely a recommended book that you must read. The Grid world is one to be part of and I'm really glad that I discovered these books, Sundown is 5 stars from me and I really wish I could give more because this book deserves it.

This is the 5th book I've read written by Jas T. Ward; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

This is the 9th book in the Grid Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story line completely hooks you and keeps reeling you in.
