This is book #3 in the series and should be read in order to fully understand the plot line, the secondary characters and to avoid spoilers.
We know of Scarlett from Books #1 and #2 and we’ve met Sergei before as well. We know he’s engaged to a mafia boss’ daughter but that he also is seeing a mystery girl while the events of book 1 and 2 are going on.
What we didn’t know (but was highly hinted at) was that his faceless fiancé and his mystery girl are one and the same. And we’re not the only ones left in the dark about this sneaky turn of events.
Scarlett thinks she’s resigned to her arranged marriage but than she meets Sergei and suddenly a loveless marriage is the last thing she wants. Not when Sergei shows her what life could be like when you have someone you love at your side, loving you right back.
But Sergei isn’t who she thought he was. He’s a mob boss and her intended! With every mob boss, there’s enemies and Sergei’s have come to call, putting Scarlett in danger and ultimately leading to a lot of near death experiences and drama for her and her friends.
I’ve been waiting ages to read the final book but like usual, I was hesitant to get too carried away with my excitement because I didn’t want to have such high expectations. You usually end up getting burned when the hype doesn’t match the end result of a much awaited book. Sadly that was the case for Sergei and Scarlett.
Their story was already half told as side snippets in the last two books, so by the time you get to their story, it felt like I was re-reading a summary of the last two books, taking page time away from the MC’s. Then they both acted so outside the norm that I was expecting for them that I felt a bit jarred but the changes. Scarlett didn’t hold out much when it came Sergei. She would be spitting mad one minute and placated the next. As for Sergei, it was almost painful to see how bullheaded he was with his determined tunnel vision that kept complicating things more than they needed to be.
His justifications for what he did seemed weak and TSTL. Don’t get me wrong, I liked both MCs but their actions and reactions didn’t jive with the personalities they were given in the previous books. Granted they were second hand impressions but I wanted them to stay consistent and I didn’t get that. It was almost like we got two different characters completely.
In the end we get closure and come full circle with the three friends and the Russian Sinners the each fell for. I highly enjoyed Dimitri and Nikolai’s stories and I’m curious about Michail and Sonia. Although this one wasn’t my favorite, I’ll definitely be reading more by this author.
* * * ARC provided for an honest review * * * I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This has been an excellent series and I wish there was more. The brothers have had me totally addicted to their lives and escapades. From Russia to The USA these boys have protected and fought for the women they love. Brilliant and enjoyable reading
I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review
This story follows Eve, who travels to Russia on a girls’ trip. After a night out, she meets Sergei, an older man, and they instantly hit it off. She can see herself with him, but little does she know he’s keeping a secret—one that may reveal unexpected ties between them.
From the start, I loved the audiobook. The narrators were great, but I found myself needing to restart the book after about 20% because I wasn’t retaining much information. To be fair, I had just started a new job, and I sometimes struggle to follow along when accents are performed, requiring more focus to understand what’s happening. That was more of a personal issue than a fault of the book itself.
I think this was a good read, but I’m not sure if I’m feeling a bit burnt out from Eva’s work since I’ve listened to a few of her books recently. That said, I really enjoyed the dynamic between these two. Sergei was the perfect broody, protective Russian—who, deep down, is actually a big softie. The spice was great and felt intimate.
Overall, this was a solid read, but for some reason, it didn’t stand out to me as much as Eva’s other books, even though I usually love her work.

✨Okay, You guys this is the last book in the series {Russian Sinners} and this book is all about Sergei and Scarlett… First, can I say thank you to the author? YES, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WRITING THESE FREAKING INCREDIBLE BOOKS, THESE BOOKS HAVE MY HEART

All the three books from this series are just fracking incredible and the uniqueness in every book, when I'm reading I can literally read each one of personalities and their values and all. ✨Sergei, is the last brother of Russian sinners, he owns multiple the casino’s around Europe guys and states as well, he comes to know about casinos in Boston as well that belonged to Boston mafia head Patrick, that was in financial debt. when they have a meeting about this Sergei put up an agreement that, Patrick needs to agree Sergei can pay off his financial situation, for that Sergei wants his daughter Scarlett, he can marry her after eight years. They both ended up agreeing to this. After eight years, when Scarlett comes to Russia with her best friends, Sergei saw her and they hit off with each other. But Scarlett doesn’t know that He is her future husband whom her dad promised. Scarlett really likes spending time with him and Sergei thought, she could get to know him and like him first after that he planned to tell her the truth.
✨Because, Sergei, had a past relationship, and his ex-crazy girlfriend rejected him lastly after spending so many years with him and she decided to marry a polish mob head. So, he had the fear of getting rejection again.
After things got serious, Sergei kidnaps her to keep her safe from enemies but Scarlett didn’t know he is the one who kidnapped her and all. Read this book to find out guys, this really interesting book I’m telling when you guys read you come to know why Sergei kidnapped her? Why he did do that? Things related to many things relieved in this book. Because I also got shocked after reading some twists in the book. I don’t tell you that... So trust me and read this series you will love it. This is the last book as I said, but this is the one epic last book in the series so many truths come out in this book and all. I really enjoyed reading probably I’m going to buy these books, I feel like I want to own them.
I'll give you the short version this book will be a waste of your time it's stupid. The characters and the story line is not really thought through and in all three books they spend more time away from their girls than with with their girls. It's not worth reading. Anyone rating this with more than a star was a arc reader or asked to read it and rate it well you can't convince me otherwise. If I could I'd give it minus ten.
Here are some notes about the things I hated the most. There may be so typos due to speech to text.
When we get into the book I know a lot of a bit about their situation but not about them, how they feel, what they are like. And they keep saying they are on this trip through Europe so why not start with them travelling to Russia that way we could have gotten them and their dynamic as friends more, what they know about eachother.
For Scarlett I don't know how she really feels with the arranged marriage and not only that, but when we are told about her feelings it's him saying what she feels like. Or what he imagines.
Also I need more day to day. I would have loved to see her in her job as a teacher or kindergarden teacher. We will probably never see her in her profession and also I hate it when I read about organised crime and they don't reall talk about the network or the people that work on it. How they check on their casinos, the paper work, going on mission, planning missions. I love reading about all that.
"Somewhat relieved, I made my way back to my car" is what he thinks after he delivered a innocent girl to his ex mafia boss men who's known for not treating women right for hurting and abusing him. He's relieved because with those men he planted some of his own?! So stupid. Only because he didn't want to start a war. I think it would have been more accordingly to his character to start the instead of kidnapping that girl. Stupid
Then his "brothers" reach out and saying that they are looking for this girl. And helps them "looking" and I have to say we know this dynamic we know the dynamic of the siblings and sure they still would've been pissed at their brother for doing a stupid shitty thing but Dimitry wasn't attached to her yet. I think should have just been honest when his brothers called and told them the truths and I think then they would have started a war. They have the guarantee to go legal. But they are also men of principal so I think it would have been realistic for them to do this. It's just so stupid and nerve wracking
Also there was a good foundation of him and Scarlett getting to know eachother and then he's missing for a what feels like a month? And we already read what happened in Anastasias book. And it's not like we see how they or the mafia work so at this point it's super unnecessary
She is pregnant with his fucking baby?! Okay this is getting ridiculous! At least it's a bit different than the other two books with a baby in the mix... "If this baby and I were to survive, I needed my future husband to get here already." At this point the three girls should become a throuple because the men in this series are pathetic and stupid.
"Just the thought of it had me crying harder. Dad would get a kick out of this. He always said I was too stubborn to cry, and here I was, bawling my eyes out. How could he let this man just take me like this?" Again our MMC is the cause of all this unnecessary pain. She's going through so much but she doesn't have too. If he were smart then all of this could have been different it's so unnecessarily stupid.
“Since Dimitry won’t introduce me, I’m Sergei.” the nerve you have to introduce yourself to this girl you have caused so much pain and abuse it's amazing and she apologizes for flinching away from you
"He was worried Scarlett was getting depressed and urged me to come home. I really wished I could, but it wasn’t an option now" If you would have been a real mafia man you would have dropped everything to go home to your girl. Like what the fuck but then you keep mentioning how much you love her and how you can't live without her. So if she kills herself cause of her depression what will you do then fucker
“Am I your type?” I asked her for no reason at all. why do you even exist you are so stupid I want to cry
"Dimitry was in the woods with Anja, and the moment we heard a gunshot, Nikolai and I rushed into the woods. Although I wasn’t in any shape to defend Anja or my brothers, I would damn well try. And die trying, if need be." okay you piece of shit but you can't be honest with your "brothers" you don't tell them the truth they would have your back! and you already killed part of that woman so you fuck
"If I was a better man, a stronger man, I’d put a bullet through my own skull right now. I hurt an innocent woman." but you didn't have to. you should have been just honest your brothers would have helped and if they said no you still could have done it by yourself
“Why didn’t you call us?” Nikolai asked in an almost exasperated tone. “Fuck if I know,” what kind of a shit answer is that and I feel validated when I say that you should have called them
"Kidnapping and the fact he worked for my future husband aside, he was rather entertaining. He talked about his childhood and his parents. He got in trouble a lot. He was quite mischievous. “You didn’t do that?” I laughed at his words. “I did,” he admitted. “And I got a good beating for it.” I chuckled. “Serves you right. Putting a snake in your sister’s bed.” “It was dead,” he tried to justify, but his eyes twinkled." I feel more chemistry between then than her Sergi because he has been missing for like 50% of the book
“Are you sure you’re okay?” I asked her worriedly. “Yes, I’m sure. Be careful.” “I’m so happy you are okay,” there is no fucking emotion in the piece of shit.
“They were smuggling women and children. Yes, we intercepted two shipments, and there was a dead little boy in the second one. They won’t get those people back. You can tell them to fuck off and that I intend to intercept every single shipment of humans.” “Those dirty bastards,” I can't take these dialogues seriously it seems like it has gotten worse that the first book
The conversations also seems very stupid and unrealistic and also not authentic. She gets a phone call from her best friend who kidnapped and then her friend says okay I have to go know and she's like I am happy to hear your okay and that's just not how you talk also why didn't she ask, where are you going what is happening what is your plan when can I see you stuff like that, stuff that would be more realistic
"I looked at her in surprise. I was certain Sergei didn’t tell me that bit about himself. Truthfully, he hadn’t told me much of anything." The quality of this sentence would have already been so much better if she had followed that with I didn't trust fhe maid that Sergi send. I wasn't sure if she was here to get info on me to report back to Segi but as long as she was here I could use her to get the info she clearly wasn't getting from Sergi
Okay so she thinks that Sergi might be dead and she's so worried about him and cries everyday then she finds out that the guy she is soooo in love with was shot and there not one ounce of worry and also it does not really come across how pissed she is. It would have been so much better if she saw him and then she'd be like oh no what happend are you owky and then he says yeah I am fine and then she's like great and hits him and tells him to stay away
"I followed. Nobody had ever been able to calm my rages like Scarlett." show me the rage what was that like I wanna see you go all crazy but no why? I can't even comprehend this shit any longer. Show me the rage you had when you first got the note how you destroy everything in your room and hurt you hand in the process
“Would you rather I leave?” she answered. again I cannot read any fucking emotions here and even after 70% into this fucking book I don't know what her stupid fucking character is like so is she joking is she FR is this supposed to be charming or fun or is she furious I don't fucking know cause I don't know anything about her except that hates sightseeing and eats a lot. So wtf also she talks so much about how she loves her job and now she is not even pissed she can't work like wth is she fr
“I want to know why you lied to me. Why do you want to marry me if you love someone else? Why did you kidnap me? If we are to do this, I want honesty. We both started this off wrong.”
oh so you think of asking this fucking question 70% into this book. now you want to get to know him. why wasn't this the first you asked him why did you not ask that piece of shit why he lied to when he got to this house like are you stupid?
“I am sorry, we can’t. You’d be endangering her and yourself.” I took a deep breath. “Please, Scarlett. I don’t want to lose you too.”
okay this s*** does not go in my head you are a f****** mafia organization and you cannot keep two women safe like you have this entire network of soldiers and people working for you you are a person who knows how to use a gun how to kill someone but yet she cannot go see her best friend who might die because she was shot this is so stupid like no real mafia with me like this they would take her their no real man your girl is worrying because you cannot keep her safe and because she cannot see her best friend like you piece of trash
seriously this is making me cry because it's so stupid she has more chemistry and conversations and connection with f****** Mikhail then she has with Sergi like they have they're not talking to each other for entire week okay the most Romans that we got from the two of them was like the first 15% of this book what kind of stupid b******* is this like this is the seriously one of the worst books that I have ever read and that boy port his heart out for her and now she's not talking to him for a week and every time she wants to talk to him he is busy oh my god this is so f****** stupid like I can't comprehend this it's so stupid makes me cry it makes me so angry A woman chuckled. I swore it sounded like Anastasia’s laugh. “Really, Oliver? Your sister and I will whip your ass when we see you. And you, Nikolai, I heard you quite like it when Olivia is on your lap.” are you f****** stupid preschooler you're like oh my god it sounds like Anastasia's voice oh my god it might be her instead of just bursting in there like who else could it be if it's not Anastasia or Oliver it's too much of a coincidence for it to not be them you should burst in there you should talk to your best friends you should get someone else's opinion you should talk to someone sane that will tell you to get away from this person and not have his baby with him just like run away run away
This is book three in the Russian Sinners series - it follows three best friends. This is Scarlett and Sergei’s book! While this can be read as a standalone, I HIGHLY recommend reading these in order because some jaw dropping secrets are revealed!!
This is probably my third or fourth audiobook I have listened to narrated by Lucy and Shane together so I knew it was going to be good! Shane has that perfect broody (is that a word??) Russian accent that really beings Sergei to life. I loved Lucy’s version of Scarlett - she is sweet and kind and also a spitfire! She really brings all the emotions too!
Oh Sergei…no spoilers but he sure got himself into a situation! There were some really good twists and secrets that came to life I never expected! I also really felt for him - he was dealing with rejection and trauma from his childhood (and one other huge secret involving his lineage.)
Yes arguably mistakes were made…but he goes above and beyond to fix them. I really liked Scarlett - she was this great mix of sweet and sassy and I loved the chemistry between them.
I have really enjoyed this entire series!

Disgraced is book 3 in the Russian Sinners series by Eva Winners. You can listen to it on its own but I recommend starting with Marked to hear the other brothers’ POVs. I loved this audiobook so much that I finished it in a day.
I was SHOCKED when Sergei said who his father was. I was also NOT expecting the plot twist. Sergei and Scarlett have such amazing chemistry. His brothers are protective of him and he’s protective of Scarlett. And the part you’re curious about, of course the smut is always blush worthy.
The epilogue was the perfect conclusion to this series.
Lucy Rivera and Shane Evans did amazing bringing Eva Winner’s series to life. I found myself staring off listening to Shane’s Sergei growl in my ear. Lucy does so well bringing the emotion to the characters she narrates.
Tropes You Will Love: ✨ Possessive MMC ✨ Billionaire Mafia ✨ Age Gap ✨ Forced Proximity ✨My Woman
Was i going into this book thinking there would be some other woman drama (potentially)? Yes, but it’s eva winners so i didn’t care. I was also hoping for what actually happened to happen (because i’m really bad at remembering surnames in books i really thought that Sergei was “engaged” to one person and his current “girlfriend” was another person.
The start if the book interlaces with the previous two, as the timeline is the same. So if you haven’t read previous books best to do unless you don’t care about spoilers!
Shane east and Lucy Rivers did an amazing job as usual, and i enjoyed Sergei and Scarlett’s story a lot!
This was my favorite of the series! Sergei and Scarlett were so fun. I loved finally seeing how they met and seeing all of the events from the first two books from their POV. Sergei was misguided for sure but had the best of intentions. The narration was phenomenal and I couldn’t put it down. Highly recommend this series!
This is the 3rd book in this mafia series and can be read as a standalone. The story is fast paced with loads of drama and sizzling steam. Great characters with intense chemistry and plenty of twists and turns. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it!
Disgraced is the final installment to the Russian Sinners series. This book follows the life of Anastasia other best friend Scarlett and Dimitry younger brother Sergei. Sergei and his brothers had it rough growing up in the orphanage but are now all successful businessmen. Sergei is very jaded about love after his relationship ended with his gold digging ex-girlfriend Irina who left for the head of Polish mobster. He also very sensitive and has this fear of rejection after Irina breakup . It doesn't matter the amount of wealth that he has amass the fear of rejection still lingers. Sergei is the owner of two casinos in Europe, Russia, and the U.S. He heard of another casino in Boston that was in problem. But as it turns out it was in Patrick O'Brady territory who was the head of the Boston mob. Sergei and Patrick entered into an arrangement that he would pay off his financial debt after he overheard his conversation with his daughter Scarlett. The deal was he would agree to an arranged marriage with his daughter when she became twenty five. Scarlett was against the marriage because she hated the mob business and stopped coming home after her father told that he had a husband for her at seventeen years old. Eight years later Scarlett, Anastasia and Olivia were on a trip in Europe as their last hoorah before everyone starts their lives. Sergei was coming out of the same hotel that the girls was staying at when the two bump into each other in lobby it was like fate was on his side. It was a insta-lust and he asked her out for dinner. He wine and dine her and showed her the city of St. Petersburg but remained a gentleman. He wanted her to get to know him before he told her that he was her intended husband. They would spend time together everyday because their attraction was so strong on the outings Sergei took her on his yacht to Finland for a day while playing with the water the two started kissing and foreplay Scarlett gave herself to him in the water. Sergei was blown away and surprise when he realized that Scarlett was a virgin because he knew that she had boyfriends in past. But he was reverence that she would gave him such a gift. They went back to his penthouse and explore this new found experience. The two spends every day together for a week and had unprotected sex. All this time together and Scarlett still doesn't know that she's sleeping with her future husband. Sergei wants her to fall in love with him before he tells since told her parents that the only time that she's going to get married is when she's in love. Because she wants a marriage like theirs. Sergei and his brothers are betrayed by and associated Vlad when he told Sergei that he has to kidnap Anastasia and hand her over to a group of men or it's going to be Scarlett who they take. Sergei loves Scarlett and he doesn't want anything to happen to her and he thought that the guys would only keep Anastasia for about two days plus he install three guys in the group so that she doesn't get harm. Sergei is always getting himself into trouble because he doesn't think first he knows that he should have consulted his brothers before he did anything. But they all wanted to come out of the mafia like and he thought that he could have taken care of this problem by himself one thing led to another and as it turns out they wanted to free Boris from prison. Disgraced is interconnected with all six characters from the three books. Disgraced pulls it all in for you even about the relationship with secondary characters. This book is filled with violence, torture, mayhem , abduction, vengeance, betrayal, secrets, family, surprises, deception, revelations, retaliation, rivalry, healing, love, emotions, friendship, brotherhood, drama, human trafficking, twists and turns. It was well written standalone and a page turner.
I received an advanced early copy of this book from Hidden Gems and I am voluntarily leaving my thoughts
Sergei and Scarlett’s story is the third and final book in the series. This is the only one of the three I felt like the storyline became repetitious and I wanted to get away from the same timeline. Although from a different point of view, the rehash gave me some fatigue.
Sergei was heavily featured in the first book and with Anastasia’s kidnapping. Having his point of view helped to clear up how he could kidnap Anastasia. Right off the bat we learn Sergei is who Scarlett’s father has arranged for her to marry. There’s another connection revealed between Sergei and Anastasia. I loved that particular development but felt cheated not getting some quality time between the two.
I didn’t really click with either character which kept me detached. I kept thinking they were more 18 years old than mid-30s/20s. The big scene at the end was just a little too off, awkward, uncomfortable. I’m not sure but it didn’t work for me.
The ending was a bit cheesy for me. All three get married at the same ceremony and they’re all pregnant. On the other hand it’s a nice idea to bring them all back together for a picture perfect HEA for the three “brothers” and three “sisters.”
I really liked Michail and his relationship with Sergei. It looks like we’ll have a book or more for him and his brothers.
I also like Scarlett’s Boston mob family. For two books I’ve been thinking they’re horrible to force her into an arranged marriage. Instead, they’re a loving and protective family… and she has brothers who need books.
Although this wasn’t my favorite, I do think it’s worth reading if you’ve already read the first two books. It answers lingering questions, adds a few surprises, and wraps up everyone’s HEA with a bow on top. Or at least a wedding cake topper. For all three of them.
I received a copy of this book through NetGalley for an honest review.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This is the third and final book of the Russian Sinners series where we can read about Sergei and Scarlett's love journey. Scarlett is the daughter of the head of the Boston Irish mafia and best friend with Anastasia and Olivia. Eight years ago, her dad arranged her marriage with another mobster with the condition to wait until she gets older. After her summer vacation with her girlfriends, she is suppose to go back to the States and get married. Scarlett loves her father and although she wants no part of mafia life, she is willing to be the dutiful daughter until she meets the man of her dreams. Sergei is the youngest of the Russian Sinners and the most wild one. He has the tendency to act first, think later and always gets in situations where he needs his bothers help. Twelve years ago, his fiancé broke his heart and he decides to never love again. Four years later, he arranged a marriage with another mobster's daughter, so he can have the family he always wanted. Accidentally bumping into Scarlett in Russia, changes everything for Sergei. Would she accept him for who he is? Would she ever forgive what he have done? The storyline is very intriguing, filled with lots of secrets, romantic gestures, steamy scenes, surprising revelations and unexpected twists and turns. Eva Winners did an amazing job writing this last book and also the Russian Sinners series. I fell in love with all the main characters because they are so likable and realistic, with all their strength and weaknesses. Also, the supporting characters give more depth and complexion of the stories and bring out the different aspects of the main characters. This is a great book that is part of an amazing series and I recommend anyone to read it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Disgraced by Eva Winners is the third book in her Russian Sinners series and it was DIVINE. Sergei and Scarlett are EVERYTHING.
Oh sweet, dear, mad Sergei, how I love thee so! He's focused, determined, and also trying to make up for something in his past that isn't his fault at all, and it makes me adore him even more. He loves without boundaries, and though he acts without thinking at times, all he does is for those he loves, and that dedication that runs so deep in his veins, well, it is heady, and I loved seeing it directed at Scarlett!
Scarlett, so feisty and fiery and fierce and caring and loving and throwing all of the sass and attitude, I loved seeing her personality on the page, her unapologetic manner as she stood her ground, yet would bend when it suited her, and those she loved.
I loved how each book is its own story, with a couple that you can't help but fall for, but that each one weaves into the overall series, giving you a bigger picture experience whilst reading, answering questions you have from previous books, showing another way in which these brothers love each other, through thick and thin.
Disgraced absolutely tugged on my heart strings! This was one HECK of an emotional rollercoaster, and I LIVED for every single moment of it! The power of trust, truth, honesty, loyalty, chosen family, simple yet powerful comforts like a hug or an embrace, all of it really hit me in the FEELS.
Also, fear not! There is plenty of sizzling CHEMISTRY, and the way it enhances their relationship, the depth of feeling flowing between them, well, it was electric to read!
P. S. I adored that we continued to get additional layers to the amazing dynamics between the three brothers. Nikolai and Dimitry are a DELIGHT!
P. P. S. Michail is an MVP. Do we get to find out more about him? And Sonia? Sonia is a boss!
The Russian Sinners is a three-part story about three boys who are left in an orphanage but choose to become brothers while surviving their circumstances. Those boys are now all grown up, and they will collide with three best friends, each with their own pain and suffering to contend with. As this was the third and final part, I really wanted the outside conflicts to be resolved quickly and more of the family interactions. It's three "brothers" for three friends, so there was an instant setup for some funny breaks in the story. I won't say that I was disappointed in this book, but it definitely missed the mark by a ton.
Sergei is the baby of the family, and he hates that his brothers always feel the need to protect him. Sure, he was the littlest of the group and sickly, but he wants to make it on his own in the world. Sergei knows that his brothers would always back him up, but he's trying to forge his own path. That mold will never break as he makes rash decisions which will come back to bite him in the end. One of those impulses is his arranged marriage to a girl that he's never met but determined to make her love him.
I didn't mind some of the setup of the story from books 1 and 2. You get the sense of what might play out between Sergei and Scarlett, but what I didn't like was the timeline. The first half of the book is literally the same scenes from book 1, but just told from these characters point of view. I wouldn't have minded a little back story but not a retelling. It made this book boring and repetitive. I would have rather saw the timeline start near the back of book 2 with just past snippets to describe the previous events.
This is the third and final book in the Russian Sinners series by Eva Winners. I recommend reading the book in order. Although, if read alone, the book would make sense to a point.
The couple in this book is Scarlett O'Brady and Sergei Volkovsky. This couple is an arranged marriage trope with an ironic twist. The dynamic of this couple is much different than the other couple in the series: witty, spontaneous, romance. Out of the three couples, there is more of a courtship with this couple.
In this book, Sergei rescues Scarlett unconventionally. Sergei has other involvement in the other book that comes to light in this book. Think of this series as the same plot, but written through three different points of views. The book has 41 chapters and rotating dual point of view between Scarlett and Sergei.
The "romance" scene was not as steamy. I will never judge on the amount of romance scenes in a book, but more the quality of the scenes themselves. There are approximately 3 steamy scenes, but they are lackluster in comparison to the previous books.
The ending of the book was well written and tied all three books together.
With that being said, I give the third book in this series a 4 out of 5. I rank this series in the following order from best to least: Book 1 > Book 3 > Book 2.
With thanks.

Disgraced is the third instalment of the Russian Sinners by Eva Winners. This time the story focuses on Sergei and Scarlett. Scarlett is on vacation in Russia with her girlfriends when she bumps into Sergei and they start an impassioned holiday romance. But everything is not what it seems, as Scarlett has been betrothed to Sergei for many years through a deal with her Irish mafia father. But before Sergei can tell her the truth, both of their lives blow up and a series of event happens which puts both of them in the face of danger, but especially Scarlett.
This was a fast-paced book with a lot going on and even though it is a standalone, it would probably help to read the previous two books so that you know who all of the players are. I really liked reading about Sergei and although I many not have agreed with why he kept secrets, but I kind of understood. He has a vulnerability to him as well as a craziness that makes you want to know more about him and when he tells Scarlett about his past, just beautiful. Scarlett is very much suited to him! She is a strong woman, and she needs to be, being literally shoved into a life that she was hoping to escape. She is brave, determined and really does love Sergei and that can be seen with each chapter you read.
It has lots of action, family moments, passion between all characters and overall is a good mafia read!
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
Disgraced was an amazing way to end the Russian Sinners series! I loved this audiobook so much! Although Sergei and Scarlett’s story does stand alone, I think this series would definitely best be read (or listened to) in order.
Scarlett is furious at her father for arranging a marriage for her especially when she meets charming & handsome Sergei while on vacation in Russia with her friends. She has no idea that Sergei is actually her intended husband, and is not pleased to find out that he was tricking her the whole time.
Scarlett’s character was so much fun! She was sassy and strong and was not letting Sergei get away with anything! Sergei is impulsive and made quite a few mistakes throughout the series. This book gave him a chance to atone and move forward. I found his inner monologue really sweet and endearing. At least as sweet as someone with the nickname “mad Russian sinner” can be.
I just loved how the author did the found family trope in this book. It was the perfect way to wrap up the series and I was so emotional as each of the Russian Sinners created their own family individually and collectively.
This book was narrated by Shane East and Lucy Rivers, who are two of my favorite narrators. They both gave a fantastic performance and heightened all of my emotions while listening. They did an especially great job showing their characters vulnerability and making me sweat during the spicy scenes. 4.5/5
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. “I can’t loose Scarlett. She was my sun and mood, my entire life. Life without her wasn’t worth living.”
Disgraced by Eva Winners is the third book in the Russian Sinners series. You do not have to read the other books in the series to enjoy this book. After Sergei was scorned by a woman he thought would be his wife, he was broken and sad. Then he found an opportunity to have an arranged marriage with a girl, who didn’t even know he existed. He agreed to wait until Scarlett was older and then they would marry. Scarlett knows she is promised to another, but she hopes to fall in love on her own, and not be forced into an arranged marriage. When Sergei finds her on a trip to Russia and sweeps her off her feet, he does not let her know that he is the man she is intended to marry. And when he finds out her life is in endanger he has her kidnapped and taken to one of his homes so he can take care of the threat. Will she forgive him for the lies once she learns who he really is?
This was book was sweet in some ways. Maybe a little too sweet to be honest. I liked the relationships with Sergei and his brothers the most. They have seen each other through a lot, but the stuff with Scarlett and him was a little too syrupy for my tastes, and not original really. I give this one 3 stars.
This was a great completion of this series. I really enjoyed seeing the brothers find their HEA's. I thought the narration for each book was wonderfully done with Lucy Rivers and Shane East. Shane was able to flawlessly move from one character's voice with an accent to a character that was American. Lucy was amazing with her portrayal of all the ladies.
Loved seeing Sergei become so enamored with Scarlett. He was content with just having an arranged marriage with Scarlett but once he met her and really got to know her, he fell hard and fast. Scarlett didn't want to have an arranged marriage, especially after she met and fell so hard for Sergei. She just wanted to spend more time with him and get to know him better. She was drawn to him and wanted to explore what they could be. She had no idea that he was the person she was arranged to marry.
There are many times that Sergei should have opened up to Scarlett and let her know who is really was to her, but he just wanted to continue with what they had, as he was afraid she would be upset that he had deceived her. But when her life is threatened, Sergei would stop at nothing to protect her. Even kidnapping her to keep her safe.
This story takes place during the same time as the previous two stories so it was nice to see the other guys falling at the same time as Sergei.
Disgraced: Russian Mafia Romance is the third instalment in the Russian Sinners trilogy by Eva Winters. This series as you have already probably guessed is a dark mafia romance with hot billionaires steamy scenes and violence. This new series focuses on three orphans who grew up on the streets of Moscow among Bratva. They are very close friends and consider themselves brothers and leaders. These best friends go on an unforgettable summer vacation and end up finding more than they bargained for. Women from privileged American families pulled into a world they knew nothing about. Each book focuses on one of the brothers and they newly trapped women. Therefore each book can be read as a standalone throughout the series but I imagine a better reading experience from reading them all!
This book focuses on Sergei and Scarlett's relationship journey. Sergei made an agreement years ago to marry Scarlett when she was older. They meet in Russia while Scarlett is with friends on vacation and she has no idea who Sergei is... I have enjoyed reading this book and the series and cannot wait to see what the author writes next because I have no doubt that it will be great.

Audiobook review: narrated by Shane East and Lucy Rivers 4 stars for story / 5 stars for performance
"This damn angel on my shoulder was annoying the sh*t out of me."
While this, technically, could be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading/listening to these books in order. I love the fact that these stories run concurrently with questions from previous books being answered in each subsequent story. This one follows the Sergei and Scarlett and was my most anticipated of the series. I really appreciated the clever storytelling and how the secrets of these three couples unfolded. This is truly a unique take on the arranged marriage trope. Once again we get plenty of action and excitement to keep the interest and the steamy scenes were a nice bonus.
Shane East has gone above and beyond in this series. The way he uniquely voiced each of the brothers so consistently throughout was a master class in narration. His Russian accent made this an unstoppable listen for me, once again. Lucy Rivers has such a beautiful, lyrical voice and it was a pleasure to listen to her throughout this series. This is a definite dynamic duo and I highly, highly recommend the series on audio for any maf!a romance fan.
Wow, what an awesome finish to this series. This was Sergei’s story. He and his brothers Dimitri and Nikolai grew up in a Russian orphanage and thanks to them they kept Sergei fed, protected and warm on the cold winter nights. He would never have survived without them. Now these men were wealthy, feared by their enemies and powerful. Scarlett was promised to a man she had never met in marriage by her father when she was 17. Now 8 yrs later, Sergei was going to get married and get the family he always wanted and hopefully a woman who would love him for himself. Scarlett was furious and refused to marry a stranger to pay her father’s debt. This had a great storyline with plenty of angst, drama, suspense, twists and turns, hot chemistry and a deep connection between the hero and heroine. I loved the characters— they were strong, independent, complex but oh so lovable, even the secondary characters added to this story. Would love to see Michail get his story too. . I highly recommend this entire series.

The conclusion to the series. Sergei knows his true identity of his parentage. What exactly is his father’s disability? Will it effect his future? Will he be known as the “Mad Sinner”? A lot of reiterating from previous books. This may be due to release dates between books. This felt like an up and down reads at times. Yes, there is added answers but still a fair amount of repetition in regards to Dimitry and Anastasia. Almost completing a circle in the storyline. Overall - there was closure for the brothers. Many unanswered questions finalised. Throughout the series, all siblings and their future partners made a permanent appearance. Rating wise, it dropped a little for me. There’s was a lot of repetition from the previous books. Though here, Sergei was the main focus. He struggled the hardest to find solace in himself. His abandonment, child abuse and seeking acceptance was his hurdle to bare. Scarlet was his ray of light, a safe haven to his darkness.
The series itself was challenging for the brothers. Do read in order to understand. Murder, Kidnapping, Abuse, Conquests, Sexual Scenes - it was all here within the series. Grab a coffee and enjoy
Third part of a series about three friends from the russian mafia who find their great love in three american friends. Standalone book, but the stories of the other two couples are interwoven. This part is about Scarlett and Sergei. Sergei made an agreement years ago to marry Scarlett when she is older. On vacation in Russia with her two girlfriends, Scarlette meets Sergei without knowing who he is and wants one last summer romance with him before she has to get married. Sergei knows who she is, but keeps it to himself as he gets to know her better and falls in love. But old enemies lurk and Sergei must make decisions. The story started off super exciting. There are fascinating characters.Sergei is a character with some flaws and questionable decicions. It was also nice to get the insights into the other stories. Only towards the end it got a bit repetitive, there was a lot of kidnapping.going on.

I've been waiting to get Sergei's story from the jump since his questionable actions started this boulder rolling down the mountain LOL! He & his brothers from another mother had quite a horrible childhood, and all he wanted was to find love which is how he ends up with a contract to marry Scarlett with her father, and she's none to happy about it all. Fate steps in, and he runs into her at a most unlikely place, so without thinking about it, he gets to know her without telling her who is to her (it seems certain that didn't go over too well LOL). It only has him in more hot water with the very feisty Scarlett, which makes it even harder to develop their relationship further & keeping her safe since danger is stalking her. There's no doubt they have heat in spades, the action is crazy intense, and the twists are coming in hot all over the place so I didn't want it to end. I LOVE the Russian Sinners and never wanted this series to end either, but there's definitely a secondary dude whose story I hope we get next! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Welcome to the third book of this wild ride! To catch all the juicy twists, meet the side characters, and dodge any sneaky spoilers, make sure to read in order!
Scarlett thinks she’s finally okay with her arranged marriage—until she meets the dashing Sergei! Suddenly, that loveless tie feels like a prison, especially when Sergei sweeps in and shows her what true love looks like.
But hold onto your hats! Sergei isn't just a charming prince; he’s a mob boss and her fiancé! And you know what that means—drama alert! With enemies creeping around, Scarlett finds herself in a whirlwind of danger, stirring up chaos for her and her friends.
