The first chapter threw me off. I could have done without it. But I'm glad I gave the story a chance. Once the story got into Reagan and Maddox, I was drawn to their chemistry. Maddox introduced Rea into his world of BDSM gently. You could feel the affection and growing love. There were a few times I thought her annoyances/their fights wrapped up a little too easy but only because I love the drama.

The cliffhanger surprised me, but I'm heading over to search for book 2 right now. Great read! Hot steamy scenes ;)

I enjoyed this book, it was a good mix of romance along with the harder BDSM theme, a bit like fifty shades but more story. You got a real idea of the characters and what they were like which I enjoyed. 5* looking forward to the next book.
