Examples:

The back seat of that old car saw some action, that’s for sure!  I don’t think the springs ever had a chance to recover!

I put the flat in the trunk and reminded her that she would need to get that changed as soon as possible – just in case she got another flat!

This is just one paragraph:

Shielding my eyes from the sun, I can see it’s a lady – very definitely a lady!  She seems dressed for the city – white skirt, white jacket, shades, dark hair – possibly a brunette, which sets off her choice of clothes.  She stirs something inside me, but I’m not sure what.  It can’t be lust, I’m not even close enough to see her face!  Then I realise, she’s climbing over the fence to come to me!  Doing that in her white skirt is not a good choice, lady!  She’s waving, so I suppose I had better go see what she wants and get her on her way.

Brianna and her family left Amarillo during the middle of the night without a trace or and explaination. Ryan her high school sweetheart was crushed, he wanted to know what happened to her. They were talking about a forever life and then she was gone. Now year later, he was on this ranch outside of Amarillo trying to hang on financially with a host of other problems doing the same thing every day. He was out checking the fence and stock, when he looked up seeing a car parked out a long the side of the road. He thought it was strange, but he really did not care until a woman got out starting toward the fence and then proceeded to climb it. He decided he needed to go talk to her about that time, as he got closer to her, he realized that he knew her. Unfortunately, it was his old girlfriend from high school, Brianna. She had a flat and needed help changing it. He changed the tire rode up to the house with her to get her a drink. They did get a little carried away into the past slipping into old habits until Ryan lost his temper due to his anger issues and made Brianna leave. Ryan was sorry about his actions after she left, but he did not know what to do about it. Brianna was not sure what caused Ryan's outburst, but she did manage to get one great picture of him without his shirt, and in her business, she could make him famous and wealthy if he wanted that. She still had her meeting at Beauty International to get too after she sent Ryan's picture out on instagram. Everything at her meeting went well, so she went out celebrate at one of her and Ryan's old haunts, and who should be there but the man himself. Turned out they had a wonderful evening and went back to Brianna's hotel room spending the night together. Brianna's phone kept ringing , but she did not answer it until later only to discover it was about the Instagram of Ryan and Beauty International wanting to sign him. Brianna knew she was in trouble, she just did not know how much. Once again Ryan blew up at Brianna when she tried to talk to him. She does not understand what has really happened. She has not got to explain why she left yet. Everything was still a big mess, so stay around for the continuation to see what happens next.

Irresistible Touch: A Second Chance Western romance is Part One in the Amarillo Cowboy Series. Ryan and Brianna were high school sweethearts, they were what everyone presumed to be Football Jock and Prom Queen and were planning a future together when all of a sudden her family packs up and moves away in the middle of the night without telling anyone, including Brianna not being allowed to tell her boyfriend Ryan goodbye with any kind of explanation; just poof gone! Years down the road fate brings them together again near Ryans ranch when Brianna is stranded and needs his help. He is still the absolute Adonis he was back in high school only now muscles are from hard work not from working out in a gym. They pretty much step right back into the past as far as their relationship their chemistry is completely off the charts! But Ryan seems to have some issues with anger, not really sure what about yet could be deeper than just her leaving, after all they were young and she had no choice in the matter. So Ryan seems to send her away and tell her he doesn’t want to see her again in a fit of anger. But, they do meet up later that night at an old hang out and they get together but Brianna’s phone start’s blowing up all over the place. She finally tells him that she secretly snapped a shirtless picture of him while he was changing her flat tire and then decided to post it on social media and it has blown up! Ryan is beyond LIVID!!! His anger is coming out in full force. He’s screaming at her blaming her that she has ruined everything he has worked so hard for as he’s walking to the door he says (“This is it Brianna. You’ve gone too far”. He grabbed the door knob, but he hesitates in hopes she would call him back, apologize, say something. She Didn’t! I opened the door and left.”). CLIFFHANGER!! End of Part 1. Coming back is never easy

Irresistible Touch is the first book in the Amarillo Cowboy series which is the story of Brianna and Ryan. They had been the couple that was the envy of their high school. He was the football quarterback and she was the cheerleader, the Prom King and Queen, the couple most likely to get married.....but then it vanished in the middle of one night during their senior year. That was the night that Brianna had to move away from Amarillo with her family without being able to tell anyone, including Ryan, goodbye or explain what was happening. For Ryan this broke his heart as all of a sudden she was gone and he could not find her even though he looked. It is now several years later and Brianna has come back to Amarillo for a business meeting. She was not expecting to cross paths with Ryan but when one of her tires blows outside of town and she spots a man in a field she figures she will try to flirt her way to having him change it for her. That man turns out to be someone she knew very intimately, Ryan.

This is a great start to a new series about one couple who maybe get a second chance at their first love. There is going to be a lot of drama, emotion, super hot sexy times and some mystery. I enjoyed this first book and can't wait to read the next to see where the story goes next.

Ella Cooper has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Brianna and Ryan. Brianna and Ryan had been a couple until her family had to leave town all of a sudden. Brianna and Ryan meet again after years apart but things do not go well between them. She has a meeting in Amarillo for her company. She nails the deal and decides to go out. She goes to a few bars but they are not for her. She goes to one that she and Ryan went to and is sitting at the bar when she looks around and sees Ryan come out of the bathroom. He comes up to her and tells her that she is sitting in his seat. She asks "Do you want me to leave?" He tells her no and they talk over old times. They end up going back to her hotel room and he spends the night with her. The next morning, she finds that the picture she took of Ryan and posted to her Instagram has gone viral. The company she had just signed a contract with, wants him as a model for their company. She knows she has to tell Ryan and when she does he gets mad and lets her have it. He tells her that she has just ruined his life and walks away from her.

Wow!! This is the start of a fantastic new series by Ella Cooper!! This is just one of her many gems 💎 and I truly believe it’s off to a great start ♥️ This is a sweet second chance romance, and I’d really love to see it work out between former high school sweethearts, Ryan and Brianna 💖 Ryan and Brianna had their future together mapped out in high school. Unfortunately her family has to move in the middle of the night, without her being able to say goodbye to Ryan 😢 I really can’t wait to see what’s behind that mystery, also!! Years later, Brianna is the manager of an international model booking agency. While out on assignment, she ends up with a flat tire. Luckily she ends up in front of a ranch, so she can get assistance. What Brianna didn’t expect was to end up right in front of Ryan’s ranch!! Their reunion seems to be going ok, until she decides to take a shirtless pic of Ryan, and post it on social media!! Needless to say, Ryan is not very happy. We’ll have to see what happens next in Part 2!! I can’t wait!! I highly recommend this book 💙

This is about two people who took different paths in life but still were not happy. Ryan bought a ranch and worked it alone. He is a loner, very seldom talks to people and only goes into town when he needs supplies. Ryan has a secret. Ryan also has anger issues. He can lose control and begin to yell and shout. Ryan is out on the ranch when he sees someone coming across the field. As he draws closer he sees it his old high school girlfriend, Brianna. Brianna is on her way to a business meeting and has a flat tire and needs Ryan’s help. Seeing her again brings up old feelings. Does Ryan still have feelings for her? Does Brianna want to work it out? Can they feel the heat, the magnetic chemistry between them? What will happen? The story was about the past and what they had, the present and want might happen. It leaves you with a cliffhanger. It does not have an ending.

Wow, this is going to be one fantastic read if this first part is any indication! Ryan and Brianna were high school sweethearts and were planning a future together then she and her family up and moved away in the middle of the night without a goodbye or explanation. Now years later, they come face to face again. He’s a rancher and she’s a famous manager of an international model-booking agency. She had a flat tire near his ranch and she asked for help in changing her tire. The old feelings are still there and they almost go to far until Ryan pulls back and his anger takes over. When a picture she took of Ryan shirtless goes viral, things blow up between them. What started out as a reunion for more just ended any chance they had. Great start!

This is not a standalone story. It will leave you on a cliffhanger BUT it is a good cliffhanger. Could not expect anything less from Ella. Her family up and moves in the dead of the night with no explanation. She leaves her boyfriend behind. It's not like they had their life planned out (which they did, of course). Now years later she shows back up needing his help. He helps her of course and she snaps a pic of his shirtless body and posts it on social media. She leaves after that and they end up seeing each other later that night at the local bar. When he finds out what she did, he is utterly pissed off and leaves telling her off. Will she follow after him and explain why she did what she did? Well, can't wait for book two to see what happens.

This is the start of a new series that had Ryan and Brianna together in high school until one night her and her family just up and moved away. She never said a word to him and this leaves him angry. Now he’s working his ranch trying to keep it up and running. Brianna has a meeting in the town that she’s thought to never see again when she has a flat close to Ryan’s ranch. Her meeting was to see if she could be the manager for an international modeling agency. She goes to the ranch for help and runs into Ryan in the field. Both are shocked to see each other. He’s still angry but helps her. They talk but things are getting a little better but when she takes a picture of him shiftless and posts it to social media account it goes viral! Irresistible Touch is the first book in the Amarillo Cowboy series by miss Cooper. This is the story of Ryan and Brianna. Both have taken a different direction in life. Ryan is a loner who lives on his farm and barely talks to people except when he has to go into town for supplies. He has problems with his anger and can also scream.

One day he sees someone walking through his field, and when he gets closer he sees that it is Brianna. The question is, he still feels something for her and she wants to find out. It is exciting to read and wonder where it is going, also because he has a secret.

I really enjoyed reading this part and can't wait for the next part to find out how Brianna and Ryan will end.
This book and this series is definitely recommended.

Brianna and Ryan

Brianna breaks down near a farm, she climbs over the fence to find help. She doesn't get too far before help finds her. Ryan sees Brianna, his lost love, in front of him. Brianna and her family left years ago, no word. Ryan fixes her car, removing his shirt, and she can't take her eyes off him.
She takes a picture and posts it to Instagram. When car is fixed they go to his minimalist ranchhouse, talk and nearly make out. Ryan becomes angry and orders her out. Just how are they going to get together?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this engaging entertaining and compelling story. The heartbreak, friendship, angst, anger, abandonment, lost love, regrets is REALLY well written and I became hooked into the story. Told from dual POVs reveals intimately their thoughts feelings and emotions as they explore their relationship. The story ends on a cliffhanger!

I really enjoyed this story. It was about Ryan and Brianna, old high school sweethearts, whose relationship ended when Brianna left without any notice or a goodbye. This story had a lot of angst and left me wondering what was the real reason why Brianna had to leave in the past because you could tell she still had a lot of feelings for Ryan. Over their time apart both characters had changed quite a bit and each did things and acted certain ways that the other questioned. This story ends in a cliff hanger, so if you are looking for a happy ever after you will have to wait for the next story. I can't wait to read it. After Brianna's tire blew out she saw a man in the field of a farm so she went over to get help from him only to find out this was her love from high school. Ryan couldn't believe he was seeing Brianna again especially since she just left without saying a word. They had been planning their future together. He went into the military and then came home and took over the ranch from a friend where he has a quiet life away from others. Brianna has her own business managing and booking models and looking to go international.
The old feelings are still there but has things changed too much for them? Can he handle what she did? And will he get the answers he needs to go forward?

This is part 1 of a series so there will be cliffhangers.

This is the first book in the Amarillo Cowboy Series. Fate brings Brianna and Ryan together when her car breaks down near this ranch. He was her high school boyfriend and she hasn't seen him since and she can't believe how gorgeous he has become. Brianna seems full of herself and it's a little hard to like her and he seems to have a temper. Secrets galore, what about her father and her ex? The chemistry's still there but there's a lot of drama. The book is well written and has a good flow. It was a good start to the series and I look forward to the rest of the series. I read an arc via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

flat tire brings the memories

Brianna comes back to Amarillo for a meeting.
She has not been back since she and her entire family left town during the night years ago.
Ryan is working his ranch very hard trying to keep it up.
A flat tire leads to other things.
Brianna takes a picture of Ryan and posts it to her instagram account and it goes viral.
Her telling him that has repercussions she never thought would happen.
Ryan is livid and everything he has worked so hard to do has just been blown out of the water.
Great first story and can not wait until the part 2.

Ryan is a Texas rancher and Brianna runs a modeling agency she has a tire blow out near his ranch and when they are together things are still electrifying! They were high school sweethearts until Brianna disappeared without a word. Ryan has a real issue with self anger management which is why he is a loner and happy, rather then telling Brianna he pushes her away. She makes a huge mistake of putting his photo on her Instagram and it goes viral along with exposing Ryan now he is no privacy! YIKES

He is a loner on the ranch and enjoys his privacy and she works in the model industry.

Could they get past this when he shows his temper and anger.

A well-written, second chance romance, that will leave you wanting more. There was no doubt that there was a fire between us, that never died. There was an attraction we couldn’t deny. I can’t wait until the next book comes out.

This book was a very steamy book with cowboy Ryan accidentally having his ex-high school girlfriend show up at his ranch with a flat tire. Brianne's family apparently disappeared without a goodbye a long time ago.

It was interesting to see they still had feelings, although both were still dealing with their pasts. I liked that this book left me curious as to what could hapen next and if Brianna's ex would cause problems for Ryan. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

The first part of a new series from an author who loves cowboys like I do. The story is short and to the point, giving you just a taste of what to expect. In this Second-Chance romance, there are plenty of blanks that need filling in like why does the hero have serious anger issues and why the heroine left all those years ago. Is their relationship going to stand a chance? It's hot and heavy at one point so don't pick it up if you want sweet and clean. I'm curious for part 2!

Brianna goes to her meeting, she owns a model agency, she's uploaded a photo of Ryan, when he finds out he's extremely angry, and leaves.

This is part one of the Amarillo Cowboy series. This story introduces Brianna and Ryan as the high school sweet hearts but there is much more to the story. It has been a while since they last seen one another but that does not make them strangers. One night, one of them up and leaves town with their family and the other is left hurt and wondering. This is the beginning of their story. A great start with interesting characters and strong chemistry. Enjoy!

Fat chance rather than second chance...
The first part of a new series from this talented author who loves her cowboys. The story has been covered in the blurb & by previous reviewers so I won't go into that. What I can tell you though was that it was fast & furious & my tablet nearly melted. The hero has anger issues & the heroine doesn't think about asking for permission, they deserve each other. Too little. Of everything

Okay I do not understand the concept of these ‘teaser’ books reading this definitely does NOT entice me to look for and purchase another ‘book’ equal to two chapters of a real book. All reading this did was annoy me. No character deveopment; no all consuming descriptions to set the stage for the readers imagination to engage and absolutely no hook to make the reader want to be bothered to read more! Actually one star is generous!
