The island we’re currently investigating is wild, green, and covered in trees. It’s vibrant and full of life and is completely different from the polluted, chaotic city I grew up in.

There’s something otherworldly about this forest, though, and after I meet a mysterious young man named Bren, I come to realize that this island is thick with magic, secrets, and danger.

The plot definitely thickens in this book, as we learn more about the different side characters, including who/ what they are, and their roles. Stella, however, continues to remain one of the biggest mysteries, as does her continued interest in Wilder when she has Elderon. Lol #teamelderon This book continues the story, but doesn't finish it, leaving me waiting eagerly for the next book!

Wilder becomes even more intriguing // I'm kind of annoyed by Eldaren in this one, finding that I'm growing more suspicious of him as the humans grow less suspicious of him // Sophie is a fun character // Intrigue Grows!
