Oh my GOD???

This was so good, I kind of inhaled the whole thing in one sitting. I’m completely consumed by this world and its characters.

This series has everything I love in a good Reverse Harem. A main girl interesting enough to understand why a bunch of dudes would be obsessed with her. Said bunch of dudes, each with a distinct personality and their own agenda. The hottest group activities, even more so when all dudes turn out to be bi-curious at least. A lot of plot twists, angsty moments and the funniest scenes. This series has all this and so much more!

Faris and Bram are living rent free on my mind rn. I need to know what happens next with Sloan and Fishers. Cam and Kai need another hot moment together. I’m even invested in Miranda and Sloth.

I just love these books so much??? Wtf?? 🤣❤️

THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING. Wayy better then the previous. Loved the character development of Sloane and Fischer. I was so happy for Cam when he got the good news. Also the final 3 chapters were amazing. The cliffhanger left me reeling at the end. Can't wait for the next book.

After that great cliffhanger in the last book, I was eager to read this one. And I am really feeling bad for saying this cuz the author is such a sweet person and a good friend....but this book wasn't for me.
It was sweet, with a lot of twists and turns. It will definitely keep you on toes and you won't see the next move coming.
But for me, it felt both over the top and underwhelming at the same time. Let me explain a bit.

Sickly sweet romance_________Filthy crass animal sex

That is my spectrum for a good romance book with 2 extremes. The story should volley between these two extremes for a great story but never reach them, along with plot twists and intensity.
While this book gave me the much needed twists and turns, it was never on the spectrum. It just remained on the extremes, it was either fluffy sweet or it was HOT sex.

Therefore, it didn't give me what my book-loving brain needed. Maybe it's a "me" thing, idk *shrugs* but that's how I felt after finishing it. One more thing that befuddled me a bit was....i blinked and suddenly everyone was bisexual. While I have absolutely no problem with bisexuality (hell, i loved the scene between Sloane, Saige and Fisch in the first book), it seemed sudden and felt like it was incorporated into this book only to make it filthy hot and present more sex scenes. Especially Cam's. That pulled me out of my reading zone a lot.

What made this book more enjoyable for me was Faris and Bram. They were "holy shit that's so adorably crazy, I am gagging and giggling at the same time" cute. I loved them. Especially Faris with his "method to his madness" personality. I am waiting for the next book just to see how both of them progress.

I liked this book, there is a lot of smexy time, a new guy in the Harem and also a little bit of down time, before things get busy again. Britt Andrews needs to edit what she wrote for her reader, because this book refers to the next book as the last book but there are five books in this series.

Although I had really enjoyed the first two books, this one left me really disappointed. I expected to read something fun and easy but instead, I thought this third book lacked what I had enjoyed in the first two and concentrated all the tropes and things that exasperate me. That being said, I understand this is just me, and I get that other people will find what they wanted in this book.
This is not a rant, the following review is just me analyzing why this book didn’t work for me.

Let me start by saying that if there is one thing I still loved about this book, it is the body representation. I like that Saige is getting more confident and that a RH book stars a curvy heroine, this is really important to me. And this alone makes me glad I bought this book because I'm happy to support this.

However, I think that maybe I have come to the end of my RH phase. Or more probably, I am getting really tired of reading the same tropes and the same literary tools in every RH book. One of those things that made me roll my eyes every other paragraph was the nicknames. I get that there needs to be something special and unique about Saige’s relationship with each of the men, but all the different nicknames were just too much for me, either in casual conversations or in sex scenes.
To stay on language itself, the swearing felt really out of control in this book. Maybe I hadn’t noticed it in the first two, but it felt extremely forced, there was nothing natural in the fact that almost every single one of the characters cannot utter a single sentence without a swearword. And don’t mistake me, I actually love when authors don’t censor themselves, but this was exasperating to read. It almost felt like all the vulgarity was there as a counter balance to the vulnerability the guys actually show sometimes, when there shouldn’t have been any need for that. I also found the “dirty talks” during the sex scenes really cringy, partly because of that.

The narration felt very repetitive to me, in this book. A lot of expressions, words were repeated too often, and the same was true of some actions or reactions that the characters had. Some of those things would actually have been funny if they didn’t happen so often.
I think that this contributed to my feeling that the relationships were all forced in this book. I liked that the men showed some vulnerability, but we are constantly told what they feel, not shown. This resulted in all show of emotion sounding completely fake and forced on us. None of it rang true to me, and I ended skipping a lot of paragraphs in the end. I just didn’t buy the love between Saige and the guys this time around, while it had felt very organically done in the first book. Here, I just couldn’t feel it and connect because the thought processes were never detailed enough. Even when she had a meltdown, when she was angry or mad with grief, it all felt fake, too much and not enough at the same time. Again, we needed to be shown the emotion, not told. And honestly, this is quite unbelievable for me because for the past two years, reading about anything related to grief has pretty much destroyed me every time, but I didn’t feel anything here.
One thing that is definitely on me, though, is that I also couldn’t connect to Saige because she’s so good; she loves everyone so much and she never gets annoyed and she forgives everything because she loves them. I just can’t relate to that character. She even likes when the guys get into overprotective mode and that irked the hell out of me because this is something I have come to hate.

I got really mad at anything to do with Bryce. I got the impression that the sole purpose of the abusive and rapist ex-boyfriend was to put the current boyfriends into that overprotective alpha mode that I hate.

The one thing that pushed me to finish the book was Bram and Faris, which were SO damn funny, individually and because of the dynamic between them. Faris is by far my favorie character in this book, those two were definitely the best part of the book and they are also the reason I might give a chance to the next book.

The Magic of Revenge is the third installment within the Emerald Lakes series. Just like the first two books, we are still following the same people. Of course, we do get a new member in the little harem though.

Now I absolutely loved this new edition because the sexy times were so freaking good. It also made the harem closer in a way because they aren't just in love with her. If ya know what I mean. So, as a group, it made things more interesting and made the dynamic of their relationships stand out and be different from other harems.

Other than that, we also dive more into her magic and everything else. We definitely got some good plot twists and I still feel like we have so much more to learn about her magic. The whole one becoming two thing freaked me out. Definitely can't wait for the next book because I have questions people!

Ok. Ok. I am feeling better about this one.
Thank fuck.

I am absolutely devouring this series.
I love it.
I love the characters.
I Love the humor, the puns, the innuendos.
I love the sex. It’s absolutely fire. Completely dirty and passionate and the dirty talk is so hot.

I am loving the plot too.
Things are really kicking off and started to unfold. I can not wait to see if all my thoughts are right. I also can’t wait to see them winning.
It’s gonna be so satisfying, I just know it.

The one thing I can positively say I do not like though, is that the cover model does not match the FMC description.
They tried. They gave her every attribute they could. But the model isn’t plus size. Which is a huge pet peeve of mine. I mean. She May be mid sized, but she definitely Looks straight sized. And for all the hype the author is doing about having a plus sized FMC, you would think she would want to actually show that with a cover model that matches.
Honestly. That’s the biggest gripe I have with these books so far.

Which says quite a bit about how much I like the writing and the characters, if we’re telling the truth.

I’m just gonna go read the next book and then cry that I have to wait 2 weeks for the final one to come out….

The Magic of Revenge is book three Emerald Lakes Series by Britt Andrews. This is an Erotic Reverse Harem.

This one is packed with action, spicy and hawt. The plot thickens and we learn more. Lots of twists and turns that keep the reader on their toes and you won't see what’s coming next.

This one introduces a 6th mate. OH MY GOD! That’s a lot of men for one woman. I enjoy a lot of guys, but that feels excessive and over the top. The spice doesn't die down in this one. We get a lot of sexy times that are very very hot. I’m still a bit, I don’t know if the word I won’t is confused, but I am something in regards to the dynamics of all these characters. It’s just something that I can’t put my finger on.

And, yes we do get another cliffhanger. Each book seems to have one, but this time around I’ve had enough. This cliffhanger just didn’t sit right with me.

Overall, I’m done with this series. The antics are a bit much as are all the nicknames. The plot development and progression just didn’t happen. I will say this series does have a lot of spice, steam and heat, but a good erotic reverse harem needs more than just sex. I’m tired of feeling all over the place with the Emerald Lakes series.

FIVE F-ing stars!!!! Britt has done it again!! I think this was my favourite book in the series so far!! I laughed so hard and gain a whole new vocabulary!! It’s hot and steamy with all the peens. The introduction of Napoleon and my new found love for Sloane...did I mention Dragons are my thing!!! That cliffhanger killed me in the end and I will be biting my nails until the next book. But most importantly she didn’t kill Fischer!! Britt you’re an evil genius writer supreme!!

Okay, so the ending cliffhanger just pissed me off. Like cut them a break, please?

Saige is still an absolute bad ass. Kai might be my favorite person in the world. Cam is not as badass as he thinks he is but he does better about not shouldering everything which is cool. Bram doesn’t change lol. Fisher and Faris are interesting, I wish we got more into the two of them. Sloane got screwed in more than one way, and I’m annoyed.

Probably not going past this book sadly. This cliffhanger just didn’t sit right with me.

This book was just as good as the others. Lots of drama but everyone is connecting. This was stressful at times, and we got a cliff hanger so I’ll definitely keep reading!

I like how everyone in the group is attracted to at least one other person in the group, I definitely enjoy the dynamic.

Oh Britt, you evil genius. Yet another cliffie in this one, but it's sooo worth it - and not as bad as Betrayal. I have a feeling the next book is Sloane's time to shine.

After the last ledge Britt threw us off in Book 2, this one picks up right where we left off with the group now split and devastated. Some really interesting relationship dynamics develop in this book with the partial amnesia angle.

I love discovering the new powers the group is developing! I predicted Sloane's, but I'm loving Kai's as well!

I still love Gran so darn much, but now Randy Roger is creeping up in there with her too. The side characters in this are amazing. Plus Napoleon 🐭

The FMC!
Still love Saige so very much. The trauma that she's suffered from Bryce is so relatable and important to read about. I love how she reclaims herself in this book. Plus it takes a strong woman to get over all the betrayal from the second book. She's open-minded and just overall a BA.

The Guys!
Faris!! I loved getting to meet him for real in this book and seeing how he starts discovering the world. Plus, his bromance with Bram ♥️

This book is about re-discovery - as individuals and as a group. Britt does an amazing job at sexual discovery in this as well - especially between the guys! It's both relatable and hot as all get out.

The Smut!
This is next-level hot! They have all come together as a family, and now the group scenes have reached another level of STEAM! Loads of MF/MM and literally all different combos. Make sure your battery-operated boyfriend is charged or limber up your hands!

Britt has done it again. She started me off crying and in my feels, but there were so many comical moments I loved every but of it. The development if each character has gotten better with each book and it's simply amazing. I so not like cliffhangers but she keeps pulling me back in for more and I can honestly way I'm happy about that. The growth of Saige and the guys emotional and personally is just beautiful to see and experience. To think that Britt debuted last year with the way she writes you wouldn't know. The shocks that were thrown in were blowing my freaking mind. Thank you Britt for another masterpiece

I honestly cannot recommend this book enough. My friends are sick of me raving about it. You already knew when reading books 1 and 2 that there was something special about this author and this series. It just has that spark, you know? But the Magic of Revenge is so phenomenal that it far surpasses them.

Not only is the story utterly fantastic, but the characters really sell it. Britt Andrews knows how to portray vulnerabilities like mental health, insecurity and domestic abuse trauma without them seeming like weaknesses. And THAT is where the magic lies. To me, those guys seem hotter being able to embrace this. It's so much more realistic.

And oh my lord, the side characters! Randy Roger may start an interior design trend. Who knows?

The steam level is out of this world. This book gave me scenes I didn't know I needed in my life...

All the gold stars. Take them all! This is the pinnacle of PNR for me.

Another win for Britt Andrews!

Freaking heck, woman! What have you done?

First, you leave me with a gaping hole in my chest at the end of the last book. This one starts, and you have me laughing hysterically over the Weenie Wagon, only to follow that up with me sobbing my heart out in the very first chapter.

I could hardly put this down. From the first page til the last, I was firmly in the thrall of the story, devouring every humorous, heartbreaking, joyous moment.

And oh, that revenge. It was very, very sweet. My Sloaney Baloney.

And then, after all that...you leave me with a cliffy! How very dare you.

Neeeeed book 4, stat!

Not what I was expecting

I don’t remember the first two books being this...zany? Wacky? The antics were just so over the top that it really interferes with the pacing of the story. There are whole scenes that are unnecessary and get like they added nothing to the story. These guys are supposed to be the best of the best at what they do, and they’re also supposed to be in the early to mid thirties more or less. They make so many stupid mistakes, it was like watching an episode of Scooby Doo. They also act like teenagers, especially Faris, who I really wanted to like.

I also like m/m in a book, and the relationships that were in the first two books just made sense. But having them all suddenly develop a fascination with the other guys is just gratuitous and doesn’t really help the story at all. It’s like it was decided that since a little is good, a lot would be better. It’s not that I think it shouldn’t/couldn’t happen at all, but I think it was awkward and could have been eased into the story better.

The part that I struggled with the most is the pacing (?) of the story. Huge, big important things happen, but instead of informing everyone right away, they go shopping, eat dinner, have some fun times, and oh by the way did I tell you about HUGE PLOT POINT? And when they should be having serious conversations, they’re saying silly/wacky/zany things. When it was just Bette and the townspeople who were odd, they acted as a counterpoint to the other, more serious story that was going on. But now everyone is acting like a 12-16 year old and it’s just too much. There’s no counterpoint anymore and the story is unbalanced.

Also, kidnapping should only be used as a plot device like once, then move to another. Poisoning, gaslighting, something.

It wasn’t that long of a book, but it took forever to read and I kept hoping I was closer to the end than I was. The writing itself isn’t bad, although there were a lot of comma splices.

At the end of the dat, it just wasn’t as satisfying as I’d hoped. It was like biting into something that looks delicious and finding out it’s mostly air. The progression from beginning to end didn’t move us very far along; the middle of the book feels bogged down with too much filler and not enough meaningful interactions. Of course, A LOT of people have really loved it, so your mileage may vary.

Went downhill for me. A lot of the story line was whacky and silly and just seemed like a big filler to stretch the storyline into more books! For example, it took 6 chapters for group to discuss what happened when they were apart. Also, a lot of important pieces to the story just took a backseat which made everybody appear dummer. There were too many "I forgot to tell you" moments which diluted the storyline.

A few things I really didn't like:
-The characters aren't as sharp as before: Sloane had a chance to kill Bryce and didn't
- the whole mating scene with Sloane - right after she was sexually assaulted in the middle of the forest....
- Faris constantly hitting on Bram. He is more into Bram than he is into Saige. Their relationship is unnecessary and Bram giving in goes against his character so far. He literally saved himself for his mate and all the talk about how devoted demons are to their mates seems untrue.
- why are all the men bi now- years together and just now they find others attractive...but I guess realistically Sage can't satisfy all of them....
- Kai said there is no other woman for him but he goes and professes his sexual desires for another man and basically the whole group has an orgy. Why didn't they have something before Saige like Sloane and Fisher?
- Faris is supposed to be the dark character that Fisher kept locked away in his mind but when he is around Bram he acts innocent and young. He said the reason for this is because he was locked up in Fisher's mind and as such he hasn't matured. Kinda of perverted to have him in a relationship with Saige as he is still discovering himself and the world around him. His scenes are also over the top.
- Kai is more of a Dr. Doolittle - the whole interactions with Napoleon were just plain ridiculous... if Napoleon was supposed to be just a mouse why make him so cartoony.

I gave 2 stars bc I will not continue the storyline. The book is full of empty filler chapters and the storyline lost it's appeal to me.

Britt is at it again with the crew from Emerald Lakes. After the gut wrenching cliffhanger the last book left us with I was beyond ready to dig into this one. She drags every emotion out of you over and over. My heart has whiplash from the turbulence of this ride! If you read this take time to read the dedication because I was cracking up before I even got to the story. I am positively I love with the way this authors brain works. There is so much humor, goofiness and fun twist but it’s perfectly balanced with the heat and the battles and the curveballs that just keep coming! The growth of these characters is heart warming. Secrets come to light and relationships are cemented amongst the chaos and it’s truly beautiful. If you want a series that you will laugh till you pee your self, need a towel because holy heat and has epic good vs evil battles then look no further because this reverse harem is everything! But man does she do us dirty yet again with that ending. I need the next book like stat!

Series started good

I LOVE Faris. But I'm tired of major cliff hangers. I'm tired of them separating! Are you serious? They are supposed to be smart warrior spies and yet we go alone all the time?! Please. And let me say the whole bit about Annie was stupid. You find out bad guys are after your best friends little girl and you do NOTHING? Days later you mention it to your father. Last that got me was right after a major death fight were we are almost raped and killed, our mate killed and our psycho mother somewhere, we are going to have sex, long multi orgasmic sex with knotting.... Where we are vulnerable and to bad guys... So many TSTL moments! I for one loved Faris and Bram in this book but where the heck was Mave? I have a guess but right now I'm unsure I wanna read the next book....

Transition book

After the HUGE cliffhanger at the end of the second book (which has a surprising good resolution), this book is the book of the transition for me. Some things finally settled but new mysteries and troubles appeared.
I like the character of Faris. This guy is goofy and hilarious and very devoted to Saige from the beginning.
Like other Goodreaders already said, sex scenes are very hot but I'm not a fan of suddenly everyone becoming bisexual😕 It's not because these guys are hot and had threesome that they automatically should become bisexual! Don't take me wrong, it's hot🔥🔥😏 but I always feel a bit upset for the FMC when guys fuck too much together😕
So, it wasn't the best book of the serie (for the moment) but it's a good one.

Notes:

How magical, there are two. No longer a case of schizophrenia.

This book is just as over the top as the others. You've got some interesting parts but then you have some really cringe worthy moments when the guys open their mouths. Or even the gals. Like I don't know if it's intentionally supposed to be comical or not but it reads like a bad C rated movie or something.

The memory loss from book two didn't last very long either and the guys snapped out of it with very little struggle. Like, why make it a plot point if we're not going to have the angst of them coming face to face with Saige for a bit without recognizing her. At the very least I expected her magic vagina to be the cure for their repressed memories.

I will give the author kudos for trying to dangle other woman drama only to have the guys completely reject other women.

There are a lot of just random nicknames too that they give each other. I guess so we know each of them are unique. “I don't know why I just called you that but that's going to be your new name now.”

Saige now has super duper green witch magic powers that can super duper heal people.

Kai can now transform into anything, I guess. The mouse was a little bit extra.

Sloane can summon a fire dragon.

Fischer can now talk into minds telepathically and also share emotions with Saige.

Faris is a vampire. Let's be honest. Vampire virgin.

Cam is Like Thor now and is essentially a god of thunder.

Bram is Bram and an all powerful demon.

I think this might be the last book I read in this series. It’s just way too cheesy and way too over the top. I might pick it back up again if the mood strikes me because mama didn't raise a quitter but I struggled really hard to connect with the characters.

I think what really gave me the ick was the ending. Saige was violently manhandled and nearly raped. She should be traumatized, a bit in shock, processing what happened to her. Instead, she has a normal tender moment with Sloand like it just didn't happen then had sex with him in the rain.

So, after the ending of the previous book my heart was in tatters and I was desperate to see everything fixed as soon as possible! Of course it can't be that easy so as you would expect and much to my anxious dismay, the resolution wasn't immediate. By the time I finally felt ok enough to take break after everything had been mostly resolved, I was already about half way through lol. But I have no regrets as I am completely obsessed with the story and all of the characters! I'm a sucker for a found family, and between that all the banter between Saige, the guys, and the rest of their quirky growing family I was an immediate goner. I absolutely loved all of the relationship development that was happening, the friendship between Gran and Khol, the guys' relationships with each other and Saige, and Khol with who I hope will be his love interest/endgame, those two deserve nothing but happiness so I hope that they're able to find that in each other! 😭❤️

Per usual, the spice was incredible and I cannot wait to see more from Faris, he is nothing short of adorable and I want the world for him! The ending was once again super hectic and my heart was pounding nonstop for several chapters there, and while everything turned out mostly ok the plot has definitely thickened. Between the mystery demon, some new family members, Sloane's gift upgrade, and Annie I'm excited to see how all of these new details will mix together and impact the overall story! I have a feeling that Sloane's new gift is crucial to that new prophecy we got. 👀 I will say that the cliffhanger was a bit more mellow for me compared to the last one but it's probably because only one person got screwed over versus the entire group lol. While not as painful, I am still incredibly curious to see where the story will go from here and how that ending will affect everyone!

I thank my lord and savior Faris for carrying the book this far. 🙏🙏🙏

I freaking love that man to the core of my being. FARIS & BRAM are now my top two and nobody can tell me anything else (Although Bram wasn't much in the foreground in the second half). KAI & CAM are both taking second place because there are just so perfect. FISCHER & SLOANE, so this may be controversial, but now that Fischer doesn't have his bad wolf inside, I would love for him to just go. He isn't bringing anything to the story and is just overall meh. Sloane, on the other hand, with his dragon dick can now return from the bad boy zone to the harem. He still has to work for me to really like him. But for real now, I definitely think a reverse harem book with 6+ "mates" is too much, some of them get more attention, more character development and you then find the others lacking (Fischer).

Napoleon is such an unexpected addition and I loved his and Kai's spying. Also, the truth or dare chapter was so hot. Kai and Cam together? My god! Threesome anyone???? Faris getting pierced, his obsession with mac and cheese, and his blatantly obvious interest in Bram are my favorite moments of this book. I want those threesomes stat!!! 🥵🥵🥵

Also, Khol and Miranda, here for it! Khol is definitely having different vibes from when he was "the boss" and I want to see more of his bad side! I didn't really like the first half of the book, apart from Bram obv. but the second half made up for that and there are definitely my favorite scenes from the overall series in this book. ❤️

Author Britt Andrews is definitely playing with my emotions this time around!!!
I have to say this first because I just need to get it out there! I’m claiming Faris.. he’s mine so back off ..anyways yeah I love love love him!! Did you even prepare me for him? I think not!! He’s so funny and he’s really sweet too.. he’s really made me laugh and I have to say he really brought something special to the story because when things get too seriously Bram, Kai, and Faris brought the humor so hard.. Bram is so awesome and he’s so sweet to Saige .. I’m mean all the guys are but for a demon he’s got a big heart.. Kai and his panther are so special to me.. well I love the other guys, these three are my favorite! They stole my heart..
The books cliffhanger left me emotionally spent .. I Hate Laurie.. I have hated her since the beginning but more and more she brings the anger out in me...she’s a despicable being and I just can’t with her..
Author Britt Andrews has really come into her writing.. you can see how much growth she has made as an author.. this book is well thought out and written so well.. it’s takes a lot of skill to bring the emotions out of readers and I have read a lot of books who tried to but came short everytime, that is not the case at all with this series., her humor and ability to lighten heavy situations is uncanny.. she really put her heart into this book and I respect that so much..
I truly love this series so much and I can’t wait to see how it all ends.. it was bloody brilliant!!!

I really enjoyed this book! Britt’s writing is so well done, and it really takes you into this world. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for this one after the huge cliffhanger in book 2, and i was not disappointed to find that at least one part of it gets resolved quickly.

The characters are everything. I love Saige and how she’s written, as well as the guys. I love that I can differentiate between all the different POVs so well too.

The addition of Faris was everything! I laughed so much anytime he was on the page. I loved seeing him growl at Sloane lol. I’m so glad he was added, and I can’t wait to see how their relationship grows.

The steam is offffff the charts! So hot, honestly. Each guy seems to be paired off with another, and I’ll be honest and that’s not my favorite thing, but it was still done really well.

The action at the end kept me on the edge, just waiting to see what would be next. So much happens, and though the main “villains” i guess, didn’t play a huge role in this one as much, it’s definitely set up for something explosive come book 4! Though I want to punch Sloane upside the head (again) for the end!! Stubborn man!

OH.MY.GODS!! Britt Andrews has completely obliterated me. This book was absolutely, insanely amazing. My words can not even remotely do this book justice. From the action, to the overwhelming emotions, to the love and lust that shot from the pages, Britt Andrews gave us everything!

I was completely and utterly consumed from the very beginning to the very last word. The book picked up right where book 2 left off. The emotion that Britt Andrews so effortlessly invoked through this story was unreal. I felt everything that these characters felt, like I was experiencing their heartbreak, their wrath, their lust and their love. The emotions were so strong, they were like a living, breathing entity.

Once again, Britt Andrews has completely obliterated my heart. I have grown extremely attached to these characters on a soul deep level. Saige and her men continue to experience so much, but through it all, their bond, their love and their hope shine through. The road has been far from easy and there is still so much that stands between them and their carefree happily ever after, but they are always there for one another...as a family.

Love love loved this book with every fiber of my being!

Britt!! All hail the Queen of Peen. Jesus this book was a rollercoaster. After book two, I thought, "surely there was no way she could top that"...well, I'm incredibly pleased to say I was wrong. She freaking did it again. This book holds all the humor we've come to know and love from our darling Britt, and all of the steam, too. The internal dialogues, the expressions, the nest...oh my.
On a more serious note, I absolutely loved reading the character arcs and how the guys and Saige grow together. There are a lot of opportunities for development for our beloved characters and they do so flawlessly. Watching Kai and Saige discuss and not brush off mental disorders was a breath of fresh air. Sloane's arc is absolutely stunning. I love that we see more vulnerability from him, and, after spending much of book two yelling at him through my kindle screen, I now consider him one of my favorites.
Britt, I truly love the world you've created and I highly, HIGHLY, recommend this book and series to anyone looking to have a good time with lots of heat, humor, and hijinx.
