Maybe all the stories in the magazines weren’t true…
Niamh Kearney has one goal in life – to finish out her schooling so she can help children with extra-sensory abilities like her own. Niamh leads a private life, and only her closest friends and family knew of the secrets she holds. When a handsome and very famous rugby player stumbles his way into her life – quite literally, that is – it only takes one date for Niamh to determine that she can never have a future with this man. Celebrity magazines, flashy cars, and fancy restaurants hold zero interest for Niamh.
William “Mac” MacGregor is Ireland’s darling and a favorite of the gossip magazines. As a star rugby player, he is constantly followed by paparazzi and lives his life in the limelight. Not that he particularly enjoys the attention. Mac’s difficult past, and his own deeply buried secrets, makes him cautious about letting anyone get too close. Until he meets Niamh that is. Instantly taken with the warmth in her eyes, her instinct to nurture, and the sense of rightness he feels when he’s with her – Mac must convince Niamh to look past his reputation and to see him for who he really is.

I was excited for a new book in the series, and was very disappointed in this book. The characters were not well developed and neither was the story. I was really looking forward to another visit to Grace’s Cove and a visit with all the wonderful characters. Would recommend only to keep up with the series.
Back to Niamh and Mac. The proposal finally happened and they’re moving back to Grace’s Cove. Happy endings all around. Can’t wait till the next book comes out next year.
Protagonisten: Ich lese generell sehr viel.
Couples, when they first meet, often concentrate on deciding if they fit together. Long talks to explore their dreams, meeting friends to seek input, evaluating future dreams. It's all such necessary, tedious work that it's amazing anyone ever commits. Niamh, A graduate psychology student with family and magical Tues to Mystic Cove, has undertaken a unique thesis project to explore paranormal gifts in light of the scientific theory if energy. Meanwhile, Mac, a Dublin Rugby star is seemingly enjoying the medias attention to his athletic skill and fast lifestyle. When their worlds collide the attraction is there. However each holds deep secrets and opposing lives. Can these two find any common ground? Will their friendship be able to survive their differences? Cone home to Mystic Cove with Miami or escape with Mac... The adventure will be riveting!
Back we go to Grace’s Cove my favorite place. Mac is full of insecurities and doesn’t no how to except himself for what he is. A chance meeting with a girl in a coffee shop compels him to go with her to Grace’s Cove. Can they both discover what they are looking for and more importantly what they need. It is a stand alone book but if you haven’t read the other books in the series you have missed out on amazing writing and wonderful story telling. I am looking forward to Tricia O’Malley’s next book
✨The sheer MAGIC of Mystic Cove does it again!! 💗✨
Absolutely wonderful!!! Many of our favorite colorful characters come out to play and "meddle" in this budding friendship/possible romance. Nothing like visiting with old friends and traveling the Irish countryside 😉. This book truly is like the warm hug with a nice side of warm cider you desperately needed in these times. Filled with friends, family, magic, and so much more. Fall in love with Mystic Cove and all the wonder it holds, you won't regret it. Treat yourself, and ENJOY!!
It’s hard to know who is the actual renegade Max or Nimah. Great story both hiding secret abilities. Nimah doesn’t believe she can complete with models and reporters. The public life wasn’t for Niamh what she didn’t realize it wasn’t for Mac as well. Their accidental meeting started a reaction. The paparazzi along with Kristies actions gave Mac the opportunity to change Niamh mind. Great read as always
I absolutely love this series. I think Tricia is one of the best authors of our times. Her love for her work shines through every book she writes. I have recommended her to people I know regardless of the books they read most often. My one regret was that my mama (whom I get my love of reading from), didn't get the chance to read them before she passed. Thank you Tricia for helping me find love in different genres.
What a fun book, loved the story with all of the silly angst that the powerful ladies of Grace's Cove seem to indulge into along with a peek into the down side of celebrity and maybe a small lesson in judging other based on what one might read about them. The only this that was disappointing was the lack of a real ending, of Tricia did suggest downloading the ending of their story with a novelette called One Year Later and I can't find it anywhere.
I was so disappointed in this book. I couldn't even finish it. It was like it was written by a completely different author...the writing style was so different from the previous books in this series. I absolutely loved Mystic Cove 1-10 but this book tells me I will be stopping at 10 so I can still like the series. I also feel that if it's a Mystic Cove book, it should be about Mystic Cove. Terrible book.
Book 11 I liked them as a couple, but I think he should have said sorry to yes it's not what it looks like photo two with kristie but it still made her look bad and still hurts, she knew it was the Trollope doing but it's natural to hurt and feed insecurity it's playing games in relationships that she made clear is not for her.
Has alot of potential to be expanded. Their relationship could’ve been written better after they got together. There was a quick time pass after they got together, the conflict and resolution and the story wrapped up soon after. I was expecting more
The overall theme of magic and Ireland touches was interesting
Niamh and Mac's first meeting is unfortunate, when he knocks her coffee all over her lap top which contains the proposal for her thesis. From these beginnings they form a tentative friendship, and Mac badly needs friends he can rely on. When they head to Grace's Cove to get away from bad publicity, he feels like he has finally found a place where he feels at home.
I continue to love how the characters in the series continue to intertwine in each of the series books! I look forward to reading the 12th book of the series. Also… my husband enjoys me reading the books to him or catching him up on the plot if he’s missed what I’ve already read! So we are a twofer on being fans!
Double the Powers, I really don't want this series to end. I want to see what their children will be like & what their combined powers will be. Tricia, you are the Most Amazing, Creative Author EVER ! 😘 I thing we need another Series with these Characters & their Lives that "We" as readers have become a part of. You're awesome 😍
Loved the magic but not enough backstory about them. Loved it but was too short. It probably would have helped to have a bit more of their backstory in this book if a person hadn't read about them first. But I am looking forward to reading more about them in the next book. I do love this series and this book did have a magical happy ending !
It's like coming home to friends and family each time Ms. O'Malley publishes a new Grace Cove book. Hoping she never runs out of stories and characters. Thank you for another amazing book. The legacy of Pirate Grace lives on! Slante
I can’t get enough of Grace’s Cove! The characters are always captivating!Their story is frustrating @ times, with many mistakes made, but will love conquer all for the rugby star& the scientist?
It was lovely returning to the Grace’s Cove! I appreciated catching up with a few of my favorite characters and loved the role Mr. Murphy played. This series has such a heart-warming vibe that I can never get enough of!
This is one of the perfect get away stories, going back to Grace's Cove with Niamh and Mac is like going home after being gone for years. The cast of characters feel absolutely real and like family. Tricia brings the book to life and really draws the readers into the Cove.
Mystic Cove! Absolutely love this series If you haven’t read and books recently that make you never want to put the books down this IS you series! You’ll fall in love with everyone and want to keep going. Mac and Niamh are so charming 🥰 Can’t send any information don’t want to spoil it for you
I very much enjoy Tricia O’Malley’s series, and a big fan of all things Mystic Cove. She’s a master at mixing love and magic. I enjoyed Mac being a celebrity, this added a new kind of complexity to the story. I just wish more magic was involved but all in all it worked beautifully.
The best thing (and the worst) about Tricia O’Malleys books is they’re so good, the characters so real that you don’t want to finish her books because you want to stay with them. From the very first Mystic Cove book I fell in love with Graces Cove, Gallaghers Pub and all of the people who live there. Every book feels like I’m going home for awhile, a chance to check in on loved ones and see where their lives have taken them since the last book.
I read this book so fast I’m sad I’m done. I always love going back to the Cove. I can’t wait to read more. I feel like I’m actually there when I am reading. I can’t wait to see where Niamh and Max go from here. As always great series.
Tricia O’Malley never ceases to amaze me. Her super power is definitely Storytelling. She is a gifted writer. I love all of her Grace Cove books, as well as all her other series. Dive in and wrap yourself her worlds.
The more she writes the more that waiting for her next kills me
I honestly have never read one of her tales that I didn't love! I prefer her Irish based tales... but love, and occasionally cry and laugh over her others as well! Shes a nice person to boot!
That's some good advice for this struggling couple. Both of them being terribly shy, they have quite the go around. This series has been nothing but fantastic!
Have thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series and seeing how each new main character fits into the puzzle that is Grace's Cove. Sad to think that the 12th book is the finality of this series but I am sure it will be a great jumping-off point to other series written by this truly awesome author
