Our culture is so good at sweeping conflict under the rug, so much so that it wasn’t until I was over the age of 25 that I realized how terrible I was at handling conflict. This book gives such tangible help to look inside and action steps to enter into healthy conflict. It uncovers blind spots, a ton of “ouch” moments that will help with my self awareness

This book should come with a warning label. I meant that with deep respect and love. If you read and practice what Nicole writes about, you WILL experience a change in your relationships and in YOU! One of my favorite quotes from The Miracle Moment is, “Miracle moments happen when we fight for the heart, not fight for position”. This book brought about so much self-reflection and really changed my outlook and response to those special people in my life. Nicole’s writing makes you really dig deep, but it is so worth it. Taking the time read this book will take those cherished relationships to the next level.

This book/guide is right on time! This season of pandemic isolation and hotly debated political division presents two options : withdraw, disengage and sink deep into cynicism and bitterness or lean in, get curious about ourselves and others, and in seeking to understand, develop the kind of relationships that can endure every season. Nicole offers the practical tools and troubleshooting tips needed to move towards the latter with authenticity and HOPE that in that place of intentionality—relational miracles can happen.

Had to take my time with this one. A lot of grace in these pages balanced with hope of growth for us emotionally immature peeps. Easy to swing from one extreme to another in our attempts at learning healthy boundaries. Appreciated the writer’s transparency. Important to celebrate the wins and not get stuck in rumination of our failures. Learn and move forward. Easier said than done. Thanks goodness for grace!

No matter who you are, relationships are part of your life, and as such you need this book. Nicole’s practical approach to walking through difficult interactions with the people in our lives is something everyone should read. I’ve already put to practice several of the tactics and can already see the benefits in how I process and respond to tough moments with friends, colleagues, and my spouse.

Nicole has written a thoughtful book on the dynamics of communication in a relationship. She honest, encouraging, and entertaining as she coaches you in techniques for approaching difficult conversations. The best part is that her advice is applicable in a variety of relationships from spousal interactions to conversations with work colleagues or dear friends.

Google concepts. Long winded with too many anecdotal stories, but overall a good book on communication.👍

Super valuable book for me. I took away so much to put into practice. The only thing I don’t like is the way it’s marketed—title, etc. Def recommend this book!
