Ivy is an Electrical engineer by profession. She started writing fanfiction in her spare time and after a whole year of writing, she decided to start writing an original series with her own characters and has never looked back.
Although, work and tight deadlines often have her drinking coffee, she is a tea-lover at heart. She loves to read, but keeps taking trips to Hogwarts now and then. (Who could miss JKR's lovely invitation?) Her favorite current TV shows are Game of Thrones and Pretty Little Liars.
I enjoyed this book but I didn't love it. It was an "okay" book, i guess.
It was well written and ended with a nicely developed HEA. However, as per me, Danica's situation was too complicated, with being a cop and loving the three guys at the same time....and since I am a firm believer in "Whatever could go wrong will go wrong" , the climax was too clean cut and easy for me to digest.
That ending does not do "enough" justice to this series. Don't get me wrong..it's good but not great. The last 100 pages mainly consisted of POVs from Danica. I wanted Victor and Alexie's POVs..their experiences after the "incident" would have been great.
Tbh a lot didn't happen in this final book. It mostly consisted of Danica overcoming her morphine addiction. I understand why the author ended it without the extra POVs..600 pages already seemed to be a lot. I just hope Ivy Clyde comes out with an additional novella or something to give a better ending for everyone. This is definitely her best series to-date!
Undercover cop pretending to be a man to enter the mafia. The only series where I actually enjoyed the "girl pretending to be guy" aspect. Can it get any better than that??!
Such a fantastic conclusion to this series! It was action packed and you never knew what was going to happen. I hope we get some kind of epilogue! I want babies!
After devouring this entire series, I was very excited to see the end of Danica's story with her men. I wasn't sure what the final outcome would be, but I'm pleasantly surprised with an h e a. Although I loved this story, I still feel empty after finishing their story.
This has got to be one of the most intense and action filled RH that I've ever read. Everything was so intense but I wouldn't have it any other way. Danica was just so perfect throughout the whole series. She never hesitated to do what was right even if it's going to break her and her loved ones. The damn angst!!!! Ugh! I love every moment. I love how they tackled her addiction too and supported her. I just looooved every moment of this book and I just wished we had more of them. This series deserves more recognition because it's damn well one of the top RH mafia books!! ♡ I for one am a sucker for gender bender books and seeing this series without really knowing what I was in for, was a lot! I am glad I gave it a try because as soon as I read book one, I was hooked as fvk! Thank you for this wonderful series!! I am gonna miss Danica, Victor, River, and Alexei so much
The Queen is the fourth and final book in the dark mafia RH series the Sokolov Mafia Clan series by Ivy Clyde.
I can't believe it is all over, and oh what a way to close out this amazing series. Book 3 ended with so many questions. Could Danica overcome her addiction? Would she be able to complete the mission she was tasked with and still save the men she loved?
Ivy did a fantastic job keeping me on the edge of my seat, praying that no matter how dark things were getting for Danica, Victor, River, and Alexi that somehow they would figure out a way to come out on top.
Sometimes I get bored with a series after the third book, but every installment of the Sokolov Mafia Clan series had me hooked, adding new details and intriguing plot twists that left me wanting more.
This was my first series from Ivy Clyde and I absolutely loved it! The series was dark, violent, steamy, and so much more which is what I look for in my books. Book 4 was emotional for me. I was crying at some parts and on the edge of my seat for others. Danica is so strong and I loved all three guys. They each have a certain role in the relationship and filled in a piece of Danica. I’m sad that it’s over and really wanted more. I’m hoping for an extended epilogue in the future so I can get more of these characters because this just wasn’t enough!
I had no idea how the author was going to wrap up the end of this series but oh my gosh did they deliver. I kept turning the pages and soaking it all up.the dinamics between this foursome is not what one would expect to see but it just worked with them. So worth the wait.
The premise of the story is awesome. The author needs a better editor though. I really enjoyed the angst and suspense between Danica and her men. There was some spice. Sex scenes were good. There are a ton of grammatical and spelling mistakes and plot holes that take away from the story.
I absolutely loved the conclusion to Danicaa story! I was completely absorbed into their amazing journey. I really loved Victor and River and Alexei and Danica relationship! I was glad they were able to overcome their obstacles to all be together
What an ending!!! The story was fantastic and sucks you right in. Book 4 was the perfect ending to this action packed series. I love Danny, to risk everything and I do mean everything for the men she loved… ugh swoon!
The last book of the Sokolov mafia clan series was the perfect conclusion. It was a wild ride, I love how imperfect the characters developed through this series.
Seriously OMG. Such a great ending and I love our FMC and her integrity and love for her guys. This is totally re-readable and will binge the series again.
I'm kind of glad to be at the end of the series, because my anxiety levels were high. Dreaming about the story every night for the last few nights has taken a toll on me. I didn't like living with torturing people or being investigated by the police or pretending to be a man and falling in love with an adult film star and two mafia dudes. Stressful.
The inner turmoil Danny faces is extreme. She loves these men, but two of them are the very criminals she's supposed to bring down. After the death of their leader, the politics inside the Sokolov Clan are even more violent and no one is safe. I felt like there was no winning here. Either everyone was going to be unalive or they were getting arrested and broken hearted. It was tough to read. Plus, Victor punishes his rival in a most horrific way. I can tolerate a lot of torture and violence in books; this was too much for me (can't believe I said that). But, it shows the kind of monster Victor is, so thanks for the additional evidence.
All in all, the series was an interesting read. I enjoyed seeing how Danny changed over time as she went deeper into her role as a man and as the right hand of a mafia prince. You can't do dark and deadly things without it changing you and possibly losing yourself.
If you're thinking of reading this, I'll give you a warning for triggering scenes and behaviour across many different traumas. These books were intense, but good, especially if you enjoy reading mafia stories. 💙
This is one of my favorite series but I struggled a bit connecting to the characters in this one. River and Danny were just a bit too much everything. Victor and Alex made it easy to love them even more. Seeing all of their layers really show through through was done so well. All though the climax of the book was kind of anticlimactic. I was expecting more from the big "cop reveal", but it happened so clean and flawless. Then there seemed to be no animosity between the guys and her, even though they constantly reminded her of what would happen if she screwed them over in some way. Then the time came and everyone lives happily ever after. Their relationship also didn't seem as involved as a unit as before, Danny seemed most infatuated with victor, then river, then Alex when it seemed convenient. Still one of my favorite series, and I'm glad I finally got to finish their story.
The final book in the Sokolov mafia series and I feel very bleh. While all of the loose ends were tied up, and the book ends without any indication of an epilogue, I feel as though I’ve been let down by this ending. The beginning half of the book is fast paced, with Danny and River setting up the scene for how to take down the gang, while still protecting Alexei and Victor. The latter half felt very rushed, almost like the author was just trying to finish the series and move on. There are multiple time jumps between chapters that also made me feel like the author was trying to come up with ways to get to the end without dragging it out, however it just felt messy to me. After waiting 2 months for this sequel, I have to say that it just fell flat for me.

I definitely didn't expect to love this series as much as I do!!! The storyline is so suspenseful that I lost sleep not realizing how late it was telling myself, "Just one more chapter..." it's definitely in my top mafia faves!!
The spicy scenes are ridiculously hot yall🔥.. Youre on the edge of your seat from the beginning wondering when and how her cover will be blown.. when it finally happens you'll flood your panties and mark that chapter for future re-reads at night after kids are in bed.... (too specific? No reason for that at all... 🙃🤭)
If you're into some lite D/s & bondage, mm and group hookups with a badass storyline to go along with the badass female lead...... this was written for you and me friend 😁😘
First two books in this series were great. The last two could’ve used some work. I don’t usually DNF a series that I spend this much time on but I almost did with this one. I literally got halfway through this last book and then skipped to the end to see how it ended. It might be a good series for others but just didn’t keep my interest unfortunately.
I honestly had a very hard time getting into this book. I loved the others just took me going back over months to finish. The author is really good, this book I gave 4 stars but was eh.
One of the best RH that I read in the past month. Really incredible, characters, the plot, the spice... All was unbelievable ! Its a five stars series for me.
Instead of each book review, decided to do an overall at the end. It is a great story and love the main FC. I love Fiver, Victor, and Alex. I only have 1 negative about the series. I feel like so much was about River and Victor and Danny was a part of their relationship. Most RH, it’s all about the female, even with m/m. This series was not like that. I felt at times Danny was the side piece, and was not as loved and was more a part of Victors harem or throuple. I may just be greedy, but I wanted them to be all about her and I didn’t get that. Otherwise a great series.
So I LOVED this series. I read them super quick and was hooked after the first. She is a slow burn IMO. There is MM. It is a RH. I gave this finale a 3 star because the ending was off to me. I was disappointed in the closing and felt it was weird and fast. Like GOT finale that we all hated.
….all I went through in the 3 days it took me to read this series the ending for me, sucked. That aside, it was a really good read and I hope to find more series like it!
