An interesting match of characters, it was a change to read about a pairing where not both the characters are perfect supermodels. I came to like both the characters a lot actually, they are both beautifully written, and they behave in their own ways, with problems that they face realistically. The plot was interesting as well, the problems that arose with the introduction of the new characters, although they seem like catalysts at times, made sense to the setting of the novel and it was really fun to watch the whole thing unravel. But then near the end it felt really rushed. It was like nothing else mattered after the conversation and all the problems and issues faced just evaporated with a few sentences, which made it such a pity because I was really liking how the story was moving forward. It just felt really anti-climatic and disappointing at the end.
There were nicely written love-making scenes as well, although I feel like the female character's personality could come out more during the sessions (her playfulness, curiosity, innocence) then they would balance well with that of the male character.
Narration by Rodney Falcon was wonderful, he brought forth the character's emotions well and the story was well paced.
I really enjoyed this forbidden romance. The heart wants what the heart wants and I truly believe that age, is just a number and I think this story proves that. Heartfelt and romantic but for me it needed a little drama considering their relationship and their situation. The narration was very good. This was one of my favorite narrations by Rodney Falcon. I recommend this book.
