THE FATE OF THE GALAXY IS IN HIS HANDS
Cade Korbin is playing for keeps this time. If he doesn’t find a way to eliminate Nadine Zabelle once and for all, she will be the death of him and everyone he cares about.

Armed with a suit of armor from the long-dead Priors and a mysterious sample of sentient, self-replicating nano bots, he accidentally discovers what killed the Priors—

Omnipotence.

But Nadine isn’t an easy woman to reach, and she’s determined to break Cade along the way.

Meanwhile, the galaxy itself is under threat from a savage swarm of replicating machines, and a fight over the alien Gateway that was built to keep the swarm in check is fast drawing the galaxy into a violent war that could end billions of lives.

But the shocking truth of what lies beyond the Gateway could spell the end for everyone else. Ultimately, Cade will have to choose between using his newfound power to save the people who matter most to him, or saving the innocent multitudes who will die if he doesn’t intervene.

Paragon - a review by Rosemary Kenny

Paragon is Cade Korbin's third sci-fi adventure in Jasper T. Scott's Cade Corbin Chronicles and continues the space epic as his fight to save the galaxy rages on. His strength comes from fast-replicating nanobots and the suit of special armour gained from the Priors...long dead from trying to control all and being overcome by a surfeit of uncontrollable power.
Cade's particular animosity is reserved for his Nemesis Nadine Zabelle, who, if not stopped, will bring the known galaxy to a violent end.

Oh wow! Talk about unexpected twists and turns. Trying to keep straight who is human and who is synth, bot or whatever combination is always interesting but now also add in the Swarm and who is or isn't infected. And what time line are they in - past, present or future. I love how Jasper T Scott was able to blend all of this and bring through another great book. A very difficult book to put down. I was wondering if it was going to be the end of the series at one point, but am really glad to see that Book 4 will be out in September of 2021. I'm counting the months and can't wait for it.

Cade Korbin, his daughter and her mother take refuge on earth and enjoy a little quiet time. Then one day a bounty hunter finds them and they have to flee. Their andventures take them halfway through the galaxy from one dangerous place to the next. Lots of twists and turns along the way and Cade finds a new powerful ally. But is he really one ? And when they think they're finally save, they learn about the greatest danger still waiting. Another fun and exciting read in this amazing series and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Love this series and the latest story does not disappoint Jasper weaves an amazing tale with Great characters and stunning scenes.
Cade is now in possession of the alien artefact but what to do with it and can he control it or will it control him. Plus he and his family are being hunted as Nadine has put a massive bounty on them. This installment has everything high adventure twists and turns and surprises along the way. Definitely recommend this story and the whole series

Well, Cade Korbin has done it again and so has Jasper T Scott, who has once again written an excellent follow on to his other two books. I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the next book in the series. I wasn't sure whether Alpha was going to be "good" or "bad." His character makes the story more interesting. The twists and turns in this book made for exciting reading. Well done Jasper.

Very good book !

This is a book I will read again
I enjoyed the way the author built the characters so you felt like you know people like that
The story line took many twist and turns but some of it was not possible (like shooting of Nadine's arm in space and she does not die)
But the story was good and will written
Going to read the next book in this series
Remember have fun and use your imagination when reading science friction

Surprising good. It's the first series of his I've enjoyed, the others were dnf or abandoned after book one & I had given up on him mostly.
It's got a lot of action and interesting aspects, the time travel paradox stuff is head scratching if you think about it too much.
I enjoyed the series so far I just gets a 4 star but maybe I'm judging harder due to his other work.

Good read

This is the third novel on the Cade Korbin stories and it's a great story. I was really interested in how Cade would overcome the bounty on his head and he accomplished that feat with enough challenges to make the story very interesting. I'll definitely get the next story in the series.

Third book that I have read. Enjoyed the story with its multiple tests and turns. Characters are interesting and behavior consistent throughout the various storylines. Holds your interest.

Vendettas and time travel

This is a story of obeying an order can come back to bite you. There are just enough characters to keep things hopping. it gets a little confusing when time travel is included.

Always surprising the reader

This book reminds me of Asimov's plots. You get all the required information, but the events a re unexpected. As a result, you don't stop until finishing the book. Nice!

Good Story

Not as good as the first two books, it kind of sputtered out at the end. Also to be continued in next book. We shall see what will happens in book 4. I liked the book.

Great story

Very enjoyable, can’t wait for the next one. Worthy of a reread in fact. Cade Korbin is a tarnished hero you want to know more of and see in action.

Still a fun read, and a good resolution of the story so far, with an opening for the next book. Just not sure if I want to keep going with it. We'll see when the new one comes out.

Another epic, morally gray adventure Cade Korbin always gets himself and those he loves involved in... and not without a ton of action and complex decisions and secrets marking every corner.

Highly recommended.

I really enjoy these books. Cade's doubts about Alfa, and in the end I'll bet he's right to mistrust, but the ONGOING DOUBT got annoying real quick. I'm on Ch. 26. I really hope this CONSTANT doubt storyline at least isn't mentioned every third sentence, for many more chapters.

Up to Ch 53, the whining doubt just has not let up, I'm still hopeful.

The ending was as expected, excellent, but the story really could have benefited with %90 less of Cade's constant doubt whining.
