Chapter 240
I came here after reading the Wandering Inn and I can't help but notice that the MC really feels kinda like Erin. She's a little frazzled/clumsy but hardworking and serious when needs to be. Loves her inhabitants and friends and wants to make her dungeon nice and with wonder. Feels like she's Erin's younger sister lol. Without the chess. This gives a good idea what the vibe and atmosphere of the story is which I like a lot. My only issue is at the beginning when introducing the dungeon inhabitants. The bond between them and the Mc feels too instantaneous. I guess it makes sense because she's a dungeon and they are made from her mana but they all become such vibrant and individualistic people that it feels weird for them to develop into that with a snap of the fingers from when they were born. It's a bit jarring for me like they skipped some steps in the dance of being closer. It might just be that this is my first ever dungeon core story though so I wasn't expecting it. Otherwise, I love all the characters so much. They are all very very endearing and the dungeon inhabitants especially developed so much. My favourite are the spider court and how they developed their language of dancing. And how the MC just casually goes into a five minute dancing greeting to royalty when entering their room. Very cute and funny haha. Very much looking forward to what she builds and at the adventurers dungeoning experience! I want very much some wonder filled experience where the adventurers had a great time and we get to read about that XD. Those times are a big part of why I love the Wandering Inn and this is shaping up to be a bit similar hehe
Now, about the MC's backstory, ehh, not really liking it. The other Earthers are kinda boring at the moment. Alpha is a little dull, Beta doesn't really show anything to hook me. But Gamma is making me curious from all their pas exploits as told by other characters. Basically, the inhabitants in the town are far more interesting to look into than the Earthers.
For the progression part of the story, not sure if I'm sold on the direction just yet. I very much love the dungeon building part, a bit iffy on the progressing events outside the dungeon. The drama and action for all that doesn't really interest me. Also not really interested in the teaching other newborn dungeon cores plot because the whole teaching thing isn't really interesting since I want more of her building her own dungeon lol. But if the dungeon core starts developing personalities like her inhabitants, then I reserve judgement until then. Now that the whatsthename company is in town, also not really interested in any action from that side. I'm curious about the mystery and whatnot but there are getting a bit too many characters to get to know. I would rather we have some face slapping and then more focus on the town's inhabitants backstory hehe. Basically, more current characters and less new characters.

The 3 students have reunited, D is a god, the Echo Calc in Durence got stomped by the Rat King in Deltas dungeon, Alpha is learning how to not let echo slip into his head from Quiss and Seth. People have started reaching the 4th floor, the faction combat in Fishgeon have reached pro level tournaments. I really need that wiki hahaha.
