Littles and Daddies come in all shapes and sizes...
Westley
I wasn't like the other littles. I was big, chubby, and cuddly. And I liked who I was, but Daddies? They didn't.
Most Daddies wanted tiny, twinky boys who would fit on their laps and look good under their arms. Not me.
Then I found Birch. He wasn't like most Daddies, but he was definitely a Daddy. And he wanted me.
Birch
When I came to Mistvale, my plan had been to host an Easter Party and figure out whether Mistvale would be a good place to settle in.
What I hadn't expected was to find my fated mate in the most perfect little I'd ever met. Westley was everything I'd wanted and more, and he was all mine.
There was only one problem: Westley had no clue about the supernatural world, and I was an elf.
My Elf Daddy is a 30k novella starring a cuddly human little, an elf daddy with intense dark eyes, three little bunnies called Snuggles, Cookie, and Sleepy; and lots of sweetness. It's a daddy/little story with no ABDL.
My Elf Daddy is the sixth book in the Elves After Dawn collection, with each book featuring a new elf and his HEA. Make sure you check them all out!
[Set in Stella Rainbow's fictional town of Mistvale, My Elf Daddy is a standalone, and chronologically falls after Angel of Death.]

Westley thinks he isn’t a little like most boys, he’s big, chubby, he loves himself but would there be a Daddy out there for him? When Birch arrived in Mistvale to host an Easter Party, the first one he meets is Westley. Everything screams little about this guy, from first sight Birch knows this is his boy. When Westley meets Birch and hears his voice, he is sure he is a Daddy, he’s afraid to hope. Well, they are the perfect couple! They loved everything about the other! There are some wonderful moments to enjoy.
Birch is an Elf, he’s afraid of how Westley will react after he tells him.
Owww this was sweet, so sweet! Westley is adorable, vulnerable, and such a lovable little. Birch is the best Daddy, he lives to make Westley happy. There are some wonderful creatures among their friends. A little bit of magic here and there for a good cause, I loved it. A happily ever after is guaranteed!
This is full of the total sweetness I associate with Stella Rainbow. Very low drama and full of sweet feelings. I'm not big on daddy kink but I knew this would be cute and filled with familiar characters from My Elf Mate and the Mages of Ravenshire series. I wouldn't say you would need to read those to enjoy this, but they are great and it would enrich this story. Westley isn't a typical little and Birch isn't the typical daddy and I love books that work to the opposite of convention. There's a tiny bit of age play and it was super cute.
*Edited to add* Yes, I've read this twice. I was lucky enough to beta read this but also gave it a re-read to see the changes
2.5 stars - We didn't experience them getting to know each other or them interacting with their friend group. There was a lot I missed in this short story. It was nice enough, just not anything special. (Still my thanks to the author for a story that isn't the stereotypical young, small and cute boy with an older, bigger and rougher Daddy.)
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Westley and Birch don’t feel like they fit the stereotype of what a Daddy and Boy look like but in actuality they’re perfect for each other, Fate doesn’t make mistakes. I loved getting some more cameos of Mistvale residents and loved that Cam and Micha offered sound advice for Westley when they were helping decorate Easter eggs for the Easter party that brought Birch to Mistvale, even though they’re 10 years old Westley felt comfortable taking to them, they’re great friends to have it made me giggle when Micha asked how Westley was when he was thinking about Birch and worrying, and Westley said to himself that it was like he was reading my mind. It was cute how Birch found a way to tell Westley’s little side that they’re fated mates and that magic exists in the world and then decided to show Westley when he wasn’t little that magic exists by asking Noel for Caleb to come over so he can shift, but Noel suggested that Westley’s best friend Devon would be best since he’s a bobcat shifter which is way smaller and less scary than Caleb since he’s a wolf for someone who has never encountered someone shifting before. I’m looking forward to reading Devon’s book when it comes out as I’m thinking what happened at the end of the book means that Devon may meet his mate soon. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
I love each Stella Rainbow book more and more. This was a super sweet, short read featuring characters from her Mistvale series. Neither Birch nor Westley reflect the typical physical appearances of a little/daddy, but that is what makes them fated for each other.
I fell in love with Westley within the first couple pages. The things he said to the bunnies during his morning pets pulled all my heart strings. While he is a pouring his heart out to the bunnies, he doesn't know that Birch is listening.
Birch decides to be the one who comes from the company to throw the Easter party in Mistvale. He's going to be retiring and he's checking Mistvale out to see if it is where he would like to settle down. He does find his home, but he also finds his fated mate.
There wasn't a lot of drama or angst in this book other than Westley being human and his fated mate being an elf, but I appreciated that! Stella is amazing at making you fall in love with her characters whether the book is long or short. I highly recommend you read this book. It is sweet and short with a guaranteed HEA.
*sigh* Daddy/Little stories are just not for me. There isn't anything wrong with them or this short story but I can't connect like I'd like to. This story was sweet and I really liked the characters but yeah like I said, it's just not for me.
I'm never sure how to rate these and sometimes I don't rate them at all but this time I'm giving My Elf Daddy 3 stars for the sweetness and great MCs. There was one thing that really drove me crazy and that was how often the author writes about how Westley felt about himself. I felt for him, I did, but honestly didn't think that was necessary to keep repeating it, I got it after the first few times. Unfortunately after a while it felt like word filler rather than adding to the story.
TAGS -- Holiday/Easter -- fantasy -- Elf/human pairing -- daddy/little kink -- quick easy read -- some very sweet moments -- sounds like a wonderful town -- couldn't connect -- not my type of story -- likeable MCs... Westley & Birch -- under 100 pages
This was a really sweet story about fated mates with a Daddy/Boy twist. The two MCs, Birch and Westley, were perfect for each other and just so ... Sweet! The cameos by other characters was a little confusing, because I hadn't read any of the previous related books, but not so much that it disrupted the flow of the story. It's definitely an instalove - in fact, from the first chapter on. I do wish that there had been a little more backstory to the MCs and there were definitely parts of the story where a little bit more would have really fleshed things out. The MCs spend a lot of time having internal dialogues with themselves and it would have been nice to have more, or more detailed, interaction between them shown. All-in-all, it was cute and I did enjoy the story. It's a quick read, but I actually think it could have been twice as long and added a few extra details.
It was wonderful returning to Mistvale and getting Westley's story. My Elf Daddy picks up after the events of Angel of Death where Westley was introduced. He finally meets his Daddy, Birch, when he agrees to pick up Noel's friend from the train station. Westley is big, chubby, shy and doesn't fit the definition of a little but he is one. All he wants is to cuddle with his rabbits and find a Daddy for his own. He is instantly attracted to Birch and vice versa but Westley isn't sure how Birch feels about having a big little. I loved how caring and thoughtful Birch treated Westley especially when he wanted his little side to come out and play. I haven't read a lot of daddy/little books so I learned a lot about the relationship dynamic. This was an adorable and wonderful addition to the Elves After Dawn series and it was great seeing familiar faces make cameo appearances :) Westley deserved all the squishy hugs from his Daddy! One of my favorite books in the series!
Look, not everything needs to be Citizen Kane to be deemed good alright. This was a cute, healthy romance that was SSC, with and unconventional little and daddy. I loved it. It was super cute without being cringy, Fun while still having some substance, and had a chubby little who felt real and authentic. Need I say more. Easter didn't even play that big of a role in this so if that is a worry of yours, fear not, it can be ready anytime of year.
Was the writing always the best? No, but because this was so short I hardly cared. I would have liked to see more of Wesley's little side but this is a novella so I understand there wasn't too much wiggle room. Personally I would have preferred more of little Westley in place of the almost annoyingly mushy epilogue but that's me and my problems with epilogue. Overall I still enjoyed this so five stars because I'm trash and bunnies.
Westley was big, chubby, and cuddly and a little. He was happy with himself but, Daddies didn't seem to be interested in him. They wanted twinks. That was until Birch came along, but was he really interested.
Birch came to Mistvale it was to host an Easter party with a view at settling down there. He knew he was retiring but wasn't sure where, but he seemed to have a calling to Mistvale, so that's why he was there.
He then met Westley, his priorities changed. He had a boy to spoil, so the party became larger.
It is a short book, but fun, a large cuddly built boy, a human little, an Elf Daddy bunnies, and a HEA.
My Elf Daddy (Elves After Dawn #6) by Stella Rainbow
Westley has always felt out of place among other littles—embracing his cuddly, chubby self, but often overlooked by Daddies seeking a more typical image. That changes when he meets Birch, an elf Daddy who isn’t just looking for a boy—he’s searching for his fated mate. Hosting an Easter party in Mistvale, Birch finds everything he’s ever wanted in Westley. But there's one major obstacle: Westley doesn’t know the supernatural world exists… and Birch is very much part of it.
This was a sweet story which was tender, quirky, and deeply validating—a celebration of being truly seen. I loved the way that Birch chose to show Wesley that the supernatural world was real. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
My Elf Daddy is a fun, fluffy story that the reader will find themselves rushing to finish. Filled with adorable characters, readers will find themselves cheering for the lovable Westley and his caring daddy, Birch. What I really enjoyed about this story was the fact that the main characters did not fit stereotypes. We have a little who isn’t small and petite and a daddy who isn’t built like a bear. But you know what? It works for these two and readers will be delighted to go along for the ride. Characters from previous books make appearances and it adds just the right touch. So, if you are looking for a fast read full of fluffy love, check out My Elf Daddy.
I read these a bit out of order but it didn't seem to make a difference.
This is a story about a Little finding his Daddy, so if that's not your thing steer clear. I'm neutral on the topic. It's not something I seek out to read, but if presented well I like to read it. This was okay. I liked Wesley's character and wish there was a bit more backstory and character development. Birch was...bland.
What annoyed me most was the number of times the characters shook their head. With 48 total. It was excessive. I thought they'd develop whiplash after the first 20 times.
My reviews are my own. If you liked this book, I’m glad you enjoyed it. If not, I respect your opinion. This is merely my opinion, so let's keep it courteous.
Daddy/Little is not something I seek out to read. I'm neutral on the topic, but if I encounter it, I'll give it a try. That said, the story felt bland. There is not much information available about the characters beyond the reason for their presence. And I'm reading in order, so I haven't missed anything. Therefore, it was hard for me to develop any rapport with the characters and/or be interested in their relationship.
Cute addition to a town that we already know and love. The two main characters are not the typical daddy and boy but they find in each other that it doesn't matter what others think it's about finding that one person who loves you for you.
We got to see some of the characters we love from other books by the author that I would recommend reading.Though I liked the book something put me off about Westley. I wanted to connect with him so much more but for some reason couldn't get there.
Overall another cute couple has been added to the town
Book 6 in the Elves after Dawn series, a stand alone story, multi author series. My Elf Daddy is an easy to read low angst MM romance story set in Mistvale. A story that shows love is love and there's somebody for everybody, Westley wasn't what Daddies wanted in a little and he wondered if there would ever be a Daddy who could loved and want him and Birch wasn't a typical Daddy...he wasn't what littles wanted when they were looking for a long-term Daddy. A gentle sweet love story, low angst and plenty of cuteness.
Westley is a chubby little human who is helping out at an ... animal refuge I think. He is unaware of elves and werewolves but figures Daddies don't want chubby littles. Birch shows up to organize an Easter party and is attracted to Westley but unsure if he's his mate (elves can't tell). When a dragon says they are he pursues Westley and has to tell him about the supernatural. It's cute and low-angst again, there are lots of characters from other books but it's not necessary to read them. Always good to see something a bit different like a little who's not a tiny little twink.
This was it for you cute story. Wesley meets Birch and both of their worlds are turned upside down. Fate has been a busy person. Now they just have to realize the relationship and settle into it to find true happiness. The Mistvale series and its spinoffs have been excellent reading for me. Totally entertaining with lots of joy and happiness, a little bit of mystery, little bit of drama, and a whole lot of joy and happiness. I look forward to reading more of Miss Rainbow's work. She is definitely kept me totally entertained.
Stella Rainbow write a cute meet-and-mate story as part of the series. Elf Birch seeks his little when arriving to plan a party. Human Westley, awkward as a larger little, catches his attention. These characters are tentative and cautious, as they explore their attraction. This trope (Daddy/little) is not one of my interests, but I enjoyed how Rainbow built a HEA for the leads. The story didn't trigger any new interest for me with the trope, but the writing is good.
Welcome back to Mistvale, a wonderful inclusive town filled with so many interesting characters. Westley isn't your typical boy and Birch isn't your typical Daddy. But, they are perfect for each other!
I love stories where the boy isn't a cut little twink and the Daddy isn't all muscled up. These two were so sweet. They quickly overcame any obstacles and just loved and accepted eachother.
This was a lovely, quick, low angst, fated mates read that will put you in the happiest of moods!
Adorableness all around! Westley is a sweet Little that just wants a Daddy to love him as he is but he's doesn't fit the typical Little body type and expects to be alone forever. I wanted to give him a hug, the poor, sweet guy. Luckily, Birch is looking for a Little just like him, and he's not the typical Daddy either, plus he's an Elf! This book is all sweetness for the characters that don't quite fit the mold and that's okay. I loved it!
I enjoy these stories because they're wholesome and cute but the language and writing needs a lot of work. There's too much explaining by the author where as the intent or reason should come off naturally through dialogues between mcs instead of monologuing all the time. Also, too much repetitiveness in all the stories. I do love the world the author has created though and the mcs are all loveable 👍❤️
Sweet short about a boy who never thought he would find a daddy. Westley is not a "normal" little, as he's bigger and cuddley. Birch has been looking for a special boy for a long time. Where as Wesley is human Birch is an Elf and Wesley knows nothing of the supernatural world. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book
I was so excited for this book and it didn’t disappoint. I just wanted to give Westley a big hug, the cuteness my goodness, and Birch was just perfect for him. I’m always happy to see the rest of the Ravenshire crew as well. Birch and Westley was just a perfect for each other. I love the characters, the story and the town. Please visit Ravenshire if you haven’t already ❤️
Birch is an elf that works for the Easter and has decided to move to Mistvale. There he meets Westley who is a little but longs for a Daddy. He never thought he’d find a Daddy that wanted a little like him. This was sooo cute, full of sweetness. Loved it!! I’m voluntarily leaving a review from an advanced copy that I received.
This is a cute quick read about two Fated Mates who don’t fit the typical norms of what people would expect. I love it when stories flip the script on relationships. I am also a fan of this author’s Mistvale series already so I enjoyed this story a lot. These two are adorable together! But what happened with Devon? I hope his story is next!
This was so sweet and fluffy! Westley is just adorable. I liked that he was a little hoping for his perfect daddy. That happens to be Birch, who took an Easter party planning job in Mistvale. Birch is an elf hoping to find a new start and his perfect boy. It was fun jumping back into Mistvale and seeing everyone again.
So much sweetness and unconventional characters that turn the unexpected on it's head. No drama just fluffy and sweet times and Westley being adorable. Birch was gentle and kind and very understanding, a lovely light story of mates. While other stories associated with this world aren't essential to read beforehand it will enhance you reading pleasure.
This was beautiful. I loved Wesley and think Birch is perfect for him. I am going to have to go and read the other books in this world. While the elf books can be read alone, having read both I think they would be even better with the dragon and mage ones. Definitely would be a great marathon read.
