Emotions and the Heart

Emotions and the Heart is a study delving into a Biblical understanding of emotions. We all experience them, but we do not always understand them or know what to do with them. Over the course of four weeks, we will search the Scriptures to better understand God’s intentions for our emotions and how we can interpret and express them in a way that both honors God and serves others.

Topical studies can sometimes be hit or miss for me, but I really enjoyed this in depth look at emotions. I’m a pretty emotional person and I’ve never considered how my emotions could be a gift or how they could be redeemed by Christ. This was a great study. I appreciated how it pointed everything back to Scripture.

Another amazing book from the Grace co! It’s full of such great study and brings out the perfect scriptures for each topic. This is definitely a study guide, book and journal rolled into one! Love all of these! It brings me so much closer to God by studying with more intent and learning more about my Heavenly Father and Jesus. This is my 2nd one and I can’t wait to read another one!

Really enjoyed going through this with my Bible study group! A variety of topics that lead to interesting discussion. Review questions tended to be shallow or repetitive. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed! Great reminder to utilize our emotions as a gauge, not a guide.
