I love starting my day by reading this book. And then as go throughout my day and anxiety starts to creep in, I remember what I read and it helps things seem a little more bearable.

I like the reminders including scriptural references that God is greater than my anxiety and all my stressors. All the big things that keep me from sleeping? It’s never too much for Him. I need reminders that God loves me (often I feel like I’m not enough) and that I can be resilient because I know who I trust and believe in.

I’m not going to sit here and act like this book has single handedly and miraculously cured my anxiety. It hasn’t. But I always walk away from this book feeling calmer, feeling soothed, and feeling stronger. I even bought a copy for my mom! (Getting her to read it every day is a different story).

I enjoy the way every month has a different focus like being confident, finding the good in life, knowing God’s got my back, it’s okay to need connection, and even self care.

This is an excellent book and I’m glad I didn’t hesitate to buy it. Get it and keep it within reach.

I stumbled upon Carrie Marrs a year ago, book her devotional when I was feeling especially anxious and have enjoyed reading it through the year.

One page per day, starts with a bible verse, a short devotional related to a particular topic and then a simple but effective prayer. It's clear that Marrs knows a thing or two about anxiety and is writing from a perspective of walking the talk.

Marrs covers a series of topics which serve as a loose form for grouping of days. Some of these are listed in the book blurb and I particularly appreciated those that focused on anxiety triggers and practical ideas on relieving anxiety about illness and the like.

I've enjoyed it so much I'm just going to roll on with it for another year.

Recommended for those who might struggle with anxiety.

Carrie Marrs really "gets me. " I have read several books about anxiety, but none have been so calming and so much where I am. Great for Christians with social anxiety. I look forward to spending a year with this devotional

This book delivers exactly what it promises. It was recommended to me and I am glad that I bought it. Calm Your Anxious Mind provides tips and examples of how to calm your anxieties in practical ways and most of all according to biblical guidance. The author clearly understands how we are affected by our anxious thoughts and ways. Leading readers with one-page daily devotions containing a quote or Bible verse, the author closes each devotion with a very short prayer statement. It is an easy and uplifting read to start each day.

I really enjoyed this book. It had insightful devotions to help with stress. I read it as research with an open mind. The cover is what caught my attention, so calm and serene, the colors were well done. The layout in the book was great. There was information but each page didn't feel overwhelming. I've recommended it out to a few of my coaching clients.

Mostly good but as a devotional I would assume that each day would have a bible verse to meditate on. But some days are just quotes. I was not excited about the days with quotes. I ended up doing a different devotional instead.
