I learned things that I didn’t know. Have never heard anyone go this deep into Esther. For instance, that the women chosen to be the ones from which the king would choose his Queen, had to sleep with him one time. Also that hanging was done differently from what we know.
I found this study guide extremely helpful to really think through the themes of this book and take intentional time to discuss with a group about the things you are learning. I would not have enjoyed doing this study guide alone; definitely a discussion based one.
Read and did the bible study with a friend at Center Point Christian Church and really loved the entire study. It covers the book of Esther and her journey and perseverance through Faith. It forces you to really look inside your soul and connect with Esther on a deeper level.
