The Sacrifices We Make is the second installment to the Maven of Mayhem series. In it, we are still following the same people from the first book but with a new addition or two. Rogue is now married and has her sister back. The marriage is definitely a scam since neither party wanted it. Plus, she has like four boyfriends to deal with, so this extra guy makes things interesting.
Now, you are probably wondering what happened with her sister. Well, we don't really see her until the very end of the book but so far, she's safe. Even though Rogue is very pissed off with what King did to her. So, I'm really hoping we get lots of action and revenge in the next book. Not that I'm complaining by all the romance and revenge planning. I just need more.
In the end, I have a feeling that King is her real father and Sage is her half-sister. Not sure if I'm right or not, so I guess I'll just wait and see what the next big reveal will be. Bring it on.

I'm not going to spoil anything until the book is out and I can post a spoiler review, but Mila is definitely a little evil with the prologue of this book. After the cliffhanger in book 1 I had no idea where Mila was going with this story but she did not disappoint.
In this book we get
-Lots of steamy times including m/f, m/m, and some group times
-More violence, scheming, and death but also cute relationship moments that even out some of the darkness.
-Lots of relationship growth
-The plot to take down King continues and more players are put on the board. We just have to figure out if the gang can trust them or not.
I'm excited to see how Mila wraps things up in book 3 and hopefully we get a nice future epilogue for the gang!

I’m still finding this series to be lacking the wow factor. At times it feels like I myself am on a stakeout, time passes but there’s little to no action at all. This time around Rogue even spends more time on her own having been married and on numerous jobs for King. She continues to make alliances and things still felt to work out too perfectly, I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop and at this point if it never does I’ll be hella disappointed. I mean is it really going to be this easy to take out King? Funny but I’m also kinda bummed about Tanaka being killed, he was really trying to help and his death could have totally been preventable. 😓 More bummed by this than I was with Noah’s almost death but that’s mostly because I knew he wouldn’t be dead. But the author sure tried to make you think that early on, I’m kinda glad I wasn’t so invested, I may have had a heart attack those first few pages. Also almost disappointed with this ending because it was so anticlimactic. There’s no shred of cliffhanger which is nice but wholly u expected. Will finish this out cause I’d like to see how it ends but I’m really hoping I’m more impressed 😕

I fell in love with Mila Sin’s writing with the first book of the Maven of Mayham Series. She is truly a literary genius, and this book was no exception. This book picked up right we’re the last book ended, and my heart broke all over again. There’s a lot more murder in this book, and I’m here for it. I love how Red’s cups still play into this, and I’m seriously considering starting my own collection. The nickname fiasco had me laughing through out the book. I loved getting to know some of the side characters better. Claudette is a hoot. Chapter 20 was soooo hot, all kinds of smexy activities, 🤤 🌊 💦
Still so many questions, and I’m dying to get my hands on book 3. I also licked 👅 all the men, so they’re mine now. No sharing 🤣

She's done it again! Holy cow this is such a brilliant book. The story continues from book 1, and we have all the characters cross over, but are introduced to new ones, get to know old ones better and we get to fall head over heels for the guys.
The book is full of blood, murder and mayhem, machinations and plotting, and has an incredible undercurrent of suspense and tension throughout, yet is peppered with these sweet and funny and lighthearted moments with the guys. I just think the book is genius and I can't wait to see how it's all going to work out. The rise and fall of "empires' in this - I love it!!

Mila is basically a mayhem genius! This book is even better than the first and I loved it so much! There’s humor, steam, love, and drama! And I even got to live out a fantasy of mine through her words! Make sure you read Book 1 in the series before this though! Great job boo thang!💋

I wish I could say I’m surprised by Mila’s behavior, but Mrs. Shock Your Pants Off is at it again! The Sacrifices We Make picks up immediately where Mila made us cry at the end of book one. And that’s all I’m going to say about that! I hope you’re emotionally prepared (and also have spare underwear handy) for all the things that happen in TSWM.
I don’t want to give anything away, but it’s safe to say that Rogue and her relationships continue to grow and evolve, sometimes in surprising ways. The guys are the perfect support system, not only for Rogue, but for each other as well. And boy, did they need that support in this book.
Book two in the Maven of Mayhem series has everything. Sex! Tears! Intrigue! Murder! More sex! More tears! You get the idea. This book is incredible and I cannot wait to see what Mila has in store for Rogue and her journey in book three. You need to read this book immediately!

As with TSWK, this was beautifully written. Really descriptive making you feel like you were part of Rogue's world.
The story progresses, keeping you on your toes with several twists and turns, new revelations and gasp out loud moments.
And did I mention the steam??? There's a certain chapter that shall not be named for fear of spoiling the surprise. Just maybe don't read it in public like I did...or maybe do to get an extra kick!
A fabulous continuation from book 1 and I can't wait to see where it all ends up!

There may even be a few new mugs!
Between the cliffhanger in book 1 was a dozy, to the prologue in this. You will need the tissues on standby.

Right well, Mila was at the top of my poop list initially, I won't spoil anything but I thought the worst!! She redeemed herself with the rest of the book and, thanks to a big helping of Chapter 20, I have decided to forgive her.
I have also decided I need a Claudette. Like, yesterday. Thank you Mila for allowing me into your worlds and falling in love with the characters you mastermind - I cannot wait to see what happens next and how everything is resolved!

Sinfully Sexy and Gratifying!
Such a great sequel! Not only do I feel gratified by all the wrongs turned right in this book, but I need a seriously cold shower! This book has got it going on in every way!
This is a series you will most definitely want to binge, so do yourself a favor, get both books, and prepare for the next. I have a feeling it's going to be one hell of a ride!

Book 2 in the Maven of Mayhem series picks up exactly where book 1 left off!
The character development continues in truly brilliant fashion and we are introduced to some new character who had me laughing at their crazy antics!
This book has everything - murder (and lots of it), laughs, tears, relationship highs, lows and surprises! And best of all leaves you desperately wanting to know what’s going to happen next! I have my fingers crossed that K gets what’s deserved in the next instalment!
Special mention must go to Lucas and his crazy mugs….I live for them and am going to search high and low to find some of my own!

Ya'll are in for another amazing ride with this book! After the cliffie we ended on in book 1, it's hard to imagine that book 2 could be more action packed, but let me tell you, it absolutely is! The writing is amazing, the character development is top notch, and the sexy time.. let's just say ya'll may want a fan and a towel nearby. Please do yourselves a favor, get this book added to your Kindle NOW and dedicate a few hours just to yourself so that you can read through this beauty, I promise it will not disappoint!

Ok so let’s get straight down to it….I was one of those people that constantly badgered Mila into juicy deets about Noah - how dare she leave us like that???
Upon sneaking a look at the preview I was ready to throw my kindle into wall and put Mrs Sin in the timeout corner!lol
But, just stay with it guys! The sacrifices we make is a wild ride full of deception, humour, sauciness (you do NOT want to miss the rogue buffet scene) and one little scenario I’ve dubbed the man baguette!! The board is set and the team are getting ready to make their moves.
It, again, is fantastically written. It keeps you so absorbed you’re not quite sure why when you look down you’re on 90%, it’s now dark outside and you’re tea’s gone cold when you could swear you only started it an hour ago???
I don’t like to give away plots etc so I’ll just tell you that you’re missing out if you don’t want to jump back into the mayhem world and grab
all the juicy men!!!….sorry, sorry…..STORY ;)

Rogue and her boys are back in this second book in the Maven of Mayhem series and I couldn’t have been more excited to get back to their story!
If you’ve read the first book, The Secrets We Keep, you know that book left off on a panic-inducing cliffhanger. This book picks up a short time after that whole fiasco and let me tell ya, it’s not what you were expecting! (At least, it wasn’t what I had expected!)
The whole book is full of twists and turns you won’t see coming! Secrets are revealed, some questions are answered, and there’s lots of planning and plotting and death to be dealt. We loose a few characters but we also gain a couple new ones, and I personally can’t wait to see what’s in store for Claudette and Romano! (They’re two side characters that I just can’t get enough of!) And of course I neeeed to see Rogue exact her revenge on King! I just know that when the time comes it’s gonna be epic!
And as if all the death, destruction and mayhem wasn’t enough, we also get a ton of steamy scenes! We get to witness Rogue’s relationship develop and grow with each of her men, and I loved all the humour and lighthearted moments the group shared, especially considering the serious issues and crappy circumstances the gang is constantly dealing with.
And to top it all off, the ending wasn’t nearly as torturous as it could have been! I’m actually pretty ok with how things ended. Of course I want more, but I’m not a total wreck like I was after the cliffhanger in the last book! 😂
All in all, I’d say Mila knocked it out of the park with this one! Great job! 👏👏Well done! 🙌 Looking forward to book 3!! ❤️☺️

Ok so Mila Sin never ceases to amaze me! This story just get better and better with each book! I didn’t think I could fall in love with our guys anymore but I absolutely did! The guys are amazing and would seriously do anything to protect Rogue. The sacrifices we make is a wild emotional roller coaster ride full of lies, secrets, betrayal throw in some LoL moments and the best freaking sex scene I have ever read and this bad boy is a complete winner! There is no way you will be able to put this book down once you start it because the writing and the characters drawn you in completely. I loved seeing the crossover character and getting to know more about some secondary characters and Claudette is seriously the best omg you all will love her! Then just when you go to turn the next page you realize your at the end and you are already begging for more!! You need to go download this immediately!!

How? I want to know HOW this thicc book was able to top Mila’s first book. The plot was juicer, the intrigue more tangled, the emotions more poignant, and the steam so copious that I could have powered a train from my home to Rook Industries. I feel like the story is picking up speed to its inevitable peak and I have no doubt that King will meet the end he (increasingly) deserves. Rogue and her men are so three-dimensional, they feel real. They grew individually and as a unit throughout this lovely novel, peaking in alllll the right ways in the infamous Chapter 20. If you’re reading this, save yourself the time and preorder book three. You’ll thank me.

The first book in this series was amazing and I really didn’t think that it could get any better but oh boy how wrong I was because this book was outstanding.
Rogue is as kickass as ever and is slowly dismantling King’s empire bit by bit with the help of her smoking hot guys. I may or may not have chosen a favourite (cough Red cough) but hey how could I resist with those hilarious coffee cups and his sinfully delicious self.
I’ve got to say kudos to King because he had several twists up his sleeve that I never saw coming and I was absolutely gobsmacked. There is a character that is added into the mix but I don’t know if we can trust them and I really think that they are going to break my heart.
I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book (hopefully it’s King getting stabbed in the face with a fork or something more painful)

I was really impatient to read this installment after the cliffhanger we got in book 1. All I can say is the way Mila handled the cliff was evil. Absolute. Pure. Evil. I really like Rogue and her boys. The M/M in the book was brought naturally and each of them fit together perfectly like puzzle pieces.
Some question were answered, but they only brought more of them, what intel does king have on Rogue she fears so much, how to take it back, is king oblivious to what she is doing or will it bite her in the a**?are allies really allies, are some foes hidden in the shades?

Well.....
Well... that happened. Sacrifices We Make has left me speechless. Questions for book 1 are answered in book 2 but there are some character personality changes that take place for a plot twist. It's going to be epic. l can already tell. I feel that this book needs to come with a smexy, steamy warning 'cause DAYUM! Those scenes...all I can say is be aware of chapter 20.... that's all I'm gonna say. Over all I absolutely loved this sequel and can not wait for the next!!! Mila Sin you truly are the Mistress of Mayhem. 😉

I really enjoyed the first book, so I was very excited to read this one. The end of the last book left us on a huge cliffhanger, and the beginning of this book sort of carries over, I don't want to say anymore because I truly believe that everyone needs to experience it for themselves. I truly love the relationships that get developed with Romano and Claudette, I can't wait to see what comes from these characters because they are so dynamic and interesting and we don't know much about them yet. The relationships between Rouge and the guys really heat up and develop in this book, there are sooooo many steamy scenes to keep you satisfied between the violence and espionage. I am really excited to see how this story gets resolved and if the team is able to take down King and Cross.

Wow - so much happens in this book. I loved the developments in the relationships with the guys - the Valentines Eve eve thing was so awesome!!! Plus there are some big twists, that I can’t really talk about without spoiling - so I’ll just say, that Rogue and her guys are so freaking awesome and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I can't believe how incredible this book is. I absolutely loved book 1, and im blown away by this book! I couldn't wait to read this after the massive heartbreaking cliffhanger at the end of book 1, so I'm so so glad that got resolved quickly!
I love how Rouge and her guys each grow throughout this book and how they overcome all of the curveballs thrown their way because of King and his schemes. I loved every single part of this book, I loved all of the moments between Rouge and the guys, I loved the good-ish guys club, and I just loved how Mila made it so I couldn't put this book down!

The Sacrifices We Make is the second in the Maven of Mayhem Series and there will be three books total. This is an amazing reverse harem novel. So if that is not your thing, then this story is not for you.
Thus story has everything that keeps a reader hooked and demanding more. I cannot wait for book three to come out so I can find out how everything ends. I adore the characters and the plot. I finished reading this book in a day due to it being such a page turner. Start this series right now if you have not yet!
Thus story has everything that keeps a reader hooked and demanding more. I cannot wait for book three to come out so I can find out how everything ends. I adore the characters and the plot. I finished reading this book in a day due to it being such a page turner. Start this series right now if you have not yet!

Okay, so I wanted to throw hands at Mila over that prologue. Not cool, Mila. Not cool. However, with chapter 20, I forgive you.
I really enjoyed book The Sacrifices We Make's storyline and character development. I was a little sad the team was separated so much, but with what was going on there wasn't another option. I was genuinely surprised book 2 didn't end with me being tossed off of a jagged cliffhanger, but I'll take it. Bring on book 3. I can't wait to see how this plays out.

Somehow this book is even better than the first!! I loved getting to know Rogue and her guys even more and they sure took us on an action packed ride!! This book is full of violence, blood, action, love and tons of steam! There are also a lot of LOL moments and suspense, making it a well rounded story with a great plot and characters.

Love this series! Book 2 does not disappoint. Rogue and her men’s story continues with twists and turns, steam and action. Highly recommend this series if you like a kicka** leading lady and some delicious men.

BRIMMING WITH AWESOMENESS!!
I honestly wasn’t sure how I would ever recover after the end of the first book, but Mila soothed my anger like no other. There are so many INCREDIBLE bombshells within the pages of the second book in the series and I refuse to reveal even the slightest little hint because you’ll get SSOOOOO much more enjoyment out of experiencing AALLLLLL of it yourself. Suffice it to say, you will feel EVERY. SINGLE. EMOTION. possible (ok, I guess that was a teensy tiny hint lol). I’m in complete awe of the story that Mila weaved and I’ll be waiting with baited breath for the next book!!!
