“I liked that Lauren said squ@rk and ark when Gleb gave her the yellow paint.” This kid loves these books. I’m so glad he’s reading to us. ❤️

The story continues in book 2. Readers see the food characters accept the challenge from the Office Supplies. All of the rooms come together to hold an Olympics. When surprise visitors arrive to make this a truly intergalactic event, the three work together to end the cheating and find space for everyone.

Pretty fun read, but I wish it clued in a little more on the inside jokes. Picked it up randomly to read it today and things that happened in other books felt like too much of a go read that other book, not enough "let's bring the new reader coming into this book up to speed ".

My 6 and 8 year olds enjoy these books when I read them to them. I am pretty ambivalent about the series. They are fine and I am glad my kids enjoy them, but there are definitely books that we all prefer.

My grandson and I didn't like this one as much as the first book, but it is still fun.
