Another winner, no surprise!
Another winner comes from Aer! While I don’t love this story arc, it is still really interesting. It’s always cool to see the interactions of non-human societies, especially this one.
We didn’t get very many answers in this book, but we also didn’t get as many new questions, so I’d call it a draw, haha.
If you haven’t started this series, I recommend you do. Give it a few books to open up, because it is definitely a slow burn, but it’s also probably the hugest universe and story telling experience I’ve ever seen.
Every time you think you’ve had your questions answered and the good guys have prevailed, something new and seemingly obvious opens up into a wide new world of questions and adventures.
Also be aware that the author has some controversial opinions, and that sometimes shows through in his writings. That doesn’t change how good this series is, but if you’re easily offended you may want to at least prepare yourself before reading.

exhilarating
Onece again Aer-ki Jyr takes me to a ride :)
Action, pilosophy, betrayal and hope all together in a book I couldn't leave untill I finished it a few hours later.

Well, here we go again. Jyr has tied All our fantasties up in a huge pile and let us try to guess where the world of Star Force is going next. I can't wait for the next episode of the series. Hang on, it's a wild ride!

Could have been more
I guess there is only so much that can be crammed into 100 pages. The title should have been the beginning of the temple wars.

Great series that. Blends well multiple story lines together, yet maintains that continued use of story for the star force universe.

Okay but flawed
Starts out great with an overview of the battle to come. But devolves into a trite “empire strikes back” sort of storyline.
