Schuyler Rockwell is probably that typical spoiled brat in every story you've read. She loves her freedom, she knows what she want, a very strong minded character much like her mother and has that arrogance that I'm guessing she got from her father. Yes, most of the time, we all love a strong heroine but I think in ORN's case, all these characteristics combined paved way to one of the conflicts of the story, I'm not gonna spoil you but it has something to do with miscommunication and jumping to conclusions.
Aaaand, sadly, miscommunication trope is not on the top of my list. In fact, nasa pinakadulo siya and I kind of hate it. Sky, because of the nature of her character, could be very stubborn at times and it frustrate the hell out of me. Tho, I know it's a necessary key for her character development but still. I almost dnfed this because like I said, hindi ko talaga masyadong gusto yung gantong takbo ng story.
But still, the twist gave me chills (the Lavender issue)! I did not expect it and it left me open mouthed at some parts, lol. Plus, let's not forget Lavender na malamang may trono na rin bilang one of the most hated jonaxx kontrabidas. But if you're gonna analyze her character and her actions, I can't help but to symphatize with her, I won't explain it here but Sky actually explained it at some point in the story. She understands Lav, and I love how it highlighted her development so much that by the end of the story, her character development became my one of favorites (next to Eury's!).
As for the plot, it is kind of on the cliché side, (fixed marriage, enemies to lovers and then became lovers at the end) but bumawi naman sa twist and lessons. I love how it shows na connected siya with GLS, its family conflict and steamy scenes, plus the way of writing! I'll probably re-read GLS again because reading ORN made me miss it. All in all, ORN is still a fun read for me despite me being frustrated at times.

It’s a little underwhelming, I was really expecting more from this book considering how it’s 50 chapters while Jonaxx typically writes her books with 40 chapters, so maybe I was expecting more because it’s 10 chapters longer than her usual books. The conflict was predictable, I could skip couple of chapters without missing anything, and it’s not mind blowingly good. I’m just talking about this particular book, Jonaxx usually surprises and never failed to interest me with her books and suffice to say this book is not it for me.

FINALLY FINISHED IT!!! Took me so long but whatever. Anyway, it was really really good and I enjoyed it very much. Though I think it was really really long 😩 HAHAHA but nonetheless it’s still worth a read.
It was kind of like a fresh/new reading expi after so long bcs they met in a bar & all that stuff, and reading arranged marriages trope again felt so nostalgic LOL so if you’re looking for an arranged mariage x stubborn & feisty fm x hardworking ml it’s this one!
I really don’t have anything to say much. But I enjoyed it vv much!! Love you Royce & Schuyler! < 3

I loved the faux marriage motif, their bardagulans, boldness, and romance. They’re such a hot & cute couple, but YUNG BIBIG NIYO OML! Sky’s character development was so incredible! Loved the cameos of Brandon & Avon, Beau, & Roscoe. And, Lav deserve mong mamatay tangina ka 😤😤

Jonaxx never disappoints! I really love the writing style and the characters so much. Buti hindi naman cringy ang mga sex scenes kase napakaganda talaga ang sulat nito! Hehe, keep it up po! Salamat!
