After a few lonely years of modeling, babysitting for my friends, and enough therapy to fix a serial killer, I was ready to reclaim my mate.
I boxed up my sexy, expensive clothes and threw them in storage.
I quit the job that put up a massive wall between us.
I chopped the hair that made me millions.
Dressed in my old sweatshirts and jeans that would remind my mate of the girl I was when he fell in love with me, I flew across the country to win back my man but got more than I bargained for.
A pack falling to pieces.
My mate, holding it together.
If I wanted Gunner, I would have to do more than give up my old life; I would have to adopt an entirely new one.

I wasn’t as wild about this one in the series, but it’s short and sweet and gives us the much-needed conclusion to London and Gunner’s story. I did find it annoying how London felt she had to change herself to “earn” Gunner’s love, but both of them made a lot of mistakes in their relationship, and at least they both owned up to it. 3.5 stars
I really wanted to love this one. I adored the trilogy and Jamie’s novella was so wholesome, but this one fell a bit short for me. There were a few things in particular that didn’t sit well with me either. I did love the emphasis put on London going to therapy to help her through some issues she was experiencing. There was no fuss made about it, only that she knew she needed some help and she damn well got it. Gunner even joined her in the end to strengthen their relationship and individual development. I love that. So much. That to me was worth a star alone.
Here are some of my main criticisms: - Characters (i.e Arla) trying to touch London’s curls without permission - I was hoping this would be some big misunderstanding type situation, but the entire premise of this book was London quitting her modelling job so that Gunner can fall back in love with her old self. I hate that. I understand there are some elements that relate to their wolf traditions, but ultimately London can do whatever the f*ck she wants with her own body and shouldn’t have to give up ~everything~ for Gunner to fall in love with her again. He did address this a little bit—that he was judgemental and generally being a butt—but it didn’t address the fact that a big reason that relationship initially failed was because of his toxic ideals about masculinity and his own insecurities. - Gunner teaching her about werewolves but assuming she knew that sex would mate them. Pretty big assumption my dude.

4.5 - A nice conclusion to the Wolfsbane Series, especially the epilogue. 'Running to my Wolf' is a great wrap up to London and Gunner's story. I really found the story to be a sweet and authentic, realistic voice to the characters. I look forward to reading the upcoming spin off series.
I would like to thank Lola Glass for sending me a complementary digital copy of the 'Running to My Wolf' ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Holyshifterbabies!!! I knew London had such an incredible story to tell and she didn't disappoint! I loved the history of London and Gunner and finally being able to get their perspectives and into their hearts was truly awesome! This is spicy and entertaining and one unputdownable novella. What happens when love goes so wrong?
London has finally decided it's time to move forward and go home. She's matured and is making life changes that don't seem to be such huge sacrifices after all. She's going up against a pack that doesn't like her and she's doing it with tremendous grace.
Gunner is a sad dude. He's confused and has been left adrift. He's trying to abide by his mates wishes but all he wants is to get her back by his side where she belongs. He's never wanted to box her in.
The epilogue is the best gift!! And that author's note made me girl crush. So many feels!
This is engaging and heartfelt and absolutely needed to be written. Lola Glass is eclipsing other shifter series and quickly becoming a reader favorite. Don't let this series get away!
Finally! It felt so amazing to get to read London and Gunnar’s story. London was one of the characters that I just loved from Glass’s original Wolfsbane trilogy and it broke my heart that she and her mate were separated.
To see London take charge and go after Gunnar, setting a new tone for their relationship, but still fighting with all her might to be back together for the long haul? It was perfect. Lola Glass has an amazing ability to take the mate or fated mates trope and make it feel fresh every time. Each character truly has their own personality and each relationship is distinct. London’s spunk and sincerity. Gunnar’s devotion and ferocity. I was so ecstatic to see them get their happily ever after.
A good, fast read. London has decided that since her mate hasn’t come for her, she’s going to go get him. She quits her job, sells everything and moves to California where Gunnar is now Alpha of his pack. The pack members aren’t welcoming at all. And Gunnar is at his wits end trying to keep it together.
I loved this book. A great read about giving love a second chance. It wasn’t as sweet as Oliver and Jamie’s story, but it was a very satisfying read all the same. These final 2 books were my favorite of the series. While you don’t have to read the first 3 books before reading these final 2 books, it would familiarize you more with London and Gunnar’s characters, in addition to some additional characters, like Roman and Henley.
I loved the hell out of this novella. I also cried a crap ton and it wasn’t even anything directly from the book, it all just hit too well with the fear of rejection and I ended up going on sad daydreams anytime London had to face harsh words from people who were supposed to be supportive on Gunner’s side of the tracks.
I think this was fairly quick and to the point. Lingered in the drama we all know we’re here for, and though it went a little too well with the end, I kinda felt relief too. I love seeing them ALL together.
The ending made me smile wide because I already saw the books that follow this and I’m so bloody excited.
I really enjoyed this short book about London and Gunner ❤ I also like that it started after the wolfsbane series, I hate when there's a break off book and it starts at the beginning which you already know about from reading the main books 😊 will be reading Jamie and Oliver's next 👌🏼
If you've read the first three books in the wolfsbane series then you'll be aware that there is a lot of history behind London and Gunners story and I'm glad we get some answers in this book and that they finally sort everything out and find their way back to each other.
Definitely recommend reading afterrr you read the first three books in the series they're the best.
A beautiful conclusion to this series! I must say, Lola’s pacing for her novellas is done really well and her no BS writing style is easy to read and enjoy.
Once again, I adored seeing the problems in a relationship brought to forward to be worked on, no matter how difficult they were. London and Gunner have such a raw and hot relationship and i enjoyed seeing this last instalment with them as a couple rather then two forces at each others throats.
This was a good way to give us a warm conclusion to this “Wolfsbane Series” and wrap up London and Gunner's story. Their story felt comfortable, because they will work together to fix what was broken. London has decided to take action, make things right, and go home.
These two fated mates have had a rough beginning and are ready for their HEA. The story line was well-written and I cared about the resolution for the characters. Her strong determination to work things out gives new hope for their HEA going forward.
I wasn't going to write a review after reading this book... But what you wrote at the end spurred me on.
I loved your original trilogy and was happy that you were persuaded by your fans to write more books. I liked the idea of the novellas IN THEORY; However, in actuality, they were just too damn short for my tastes.
You are an amazingly brave woman for pursuing your passion and opening yourself up to public scrutiny, so my hats off to you young lady! I am not brave enough, that's for sure.
Beautiful story and tho it's a shifter story the problems between these couples are something that can be encountered in real life. I loved that it was London that done the grovelling and fighting back to get her Man and not the other way around. It definitely made the story more interesting and we got a better understanding in this book for Gunner's actions in the previous ones. Great conclusion to the series
I absolutely loved this entire series! I couldn't wait to read this book to the end, yet dreaded it, knowing it was the last in the series. Everything about the world of the Wolsbane Pack was exciting. I'm a voracious reader so, finding something unique in one book is great, but every book in the series is different while still carrying certain characters & themes to keep things cohesive. I just loved it all! Thanks Lola Glass for this experience!
I could read this series over and get and these novellas are no different! They are the glimpses of happily ever after that didn’t make it into Henley and Roman’s story.
Lola Glass is a queen of romantic wolves with a penchant for jealously and misunderstandings but the way she spins these novellas make my heart so happy.
I think I loved this novella over Jamie’s! The way she captured London and Gunners story was perfect! I loved that they still had their special bond but had just lost their way! It was a perfect story. Not to mention the “one year later”, perfect segway into the Shifters City series! Plus who doesn’t love the ending of a “one year later”?!

This was a great story! I love that it switched it up where the girl chased the boy- I feel like so many shifter stories are all about the man chasing the girl. I wanted to London and Gunner to be together- I just wished there were more details! I wanted a longer book because I can’t let go of these characters just yet!
London and Gunner are reunited due to London wanting her and Gunner to be back together. She had done a lot of healing on her own. When she gets there, she isn't welcome, and together, they have to overcome the negativity. Gunner eventually heals through therapy as well, and Gunner"s mom and London make amends. They all move back to NY and get their HEA
Sometimes the books ends and it feels like you just got cut off in traffic or someone stole your dinner while you were still eating. The last two books of the Wolfsbane series ensures you are left satisfied. Now to go tag authors who need to add novellas of supporting characters so I can get over their horribly abrupt ends.
I've always loved London, and this novella cemented my love for her! I loved learning more of her and Gunnar's story and seeing them work things out. This was another fun, quick read that gave me even more of the characters I love! I'm so excited for the next series in this world!!
Loved Gunner and London;s story. Two fated mates that had a really rocky start but decided working through their crap to get their HEA was worth it! I thought the story was well written and I felt like the characters were very relatable. Great read!
London's story was one I needed a conclusion too. This novella provides a very satisfying glimpse into her life and her fight for her mate. The entire series is amazing and I can't recommend it enough.
I did receive an ARC for an honest review of the book.
She wants her mate back so she tries and win him back. She didn’t expect a pack falling apart. A quick fun read with fab characters. I was hooked until the end to find out if she gets her wolf. I recieved a free copy via Booksprout and I’m giving my review freely and honestly
I really didn't think London's story would end up being my favorite, but it did. What I loved the most was they were fun, teasing and realized their relationship was more than sex.
I loved how this story wasn’t just about instant forget what happened, but about growing from our mistakes. I love how even split up they were still loyal to each other. Lola Glass just makes me love her stories more and more with every single one.
Thank you to Lola for a eARC of this novella. Other enjoyable novella in this world. Again I don’t think I would have cared about this story if I hadn’t fallen in love with these characters in the original series.
This series has by far been the best series I have read. The books all just flowed together perfectly. I feel like I could read more on these characters I love them so much.
