This is a zany adventure that every young dog-lover (or mystery-lover) could want; notorious bad guys, an unsolvable mystery, dramatic and madcap chase scenes, worried parents, a flummoxed police force and hero dogs! Walkers’ unique gift mystifies everyone around him, but gives him the ultimate advantage in solving this crime. He is bold, brave and not afraid to take chances because he knows he has strong allies, even when the going gets really tough. A fast-paced plot peppered with wonderful word-play makes this a story that is so much fun to read! You’ll laugh and gasp and stay on the edge of your seat. Thrilling, funny and absolutely delightful book for young competent readers! (And you’ll love the first one, too: Walker: The Boy Who Can Talk to Dogs.)
