12 years ago I fell in love with my big brother’s best friend. Even though my brother hated it, and as much as we tried to fight it, we couldn’t stay apart.
That is, until he completely and utterly betrayed me.
I walked away without a word, vouching to never forgive him for what he did.
And now, 12 years later, after landing my dream job in a new city, I can finally say I’ve moved on and moved up.
All those years of no dating, pulling all nighters at the library and working my butt off finally paid off. And this sports journalist gig is everything I’ve ever wanted. Not to mention that my first big project will be sure to put my name out there.
But then I find out that my ex-boyfriend is the quarterback and I’m having to work with him one on one.
Yeah, the same one who did me dirty all those years ago. The same one who I hate. The same one who I never wanted to see again.
I would walk away but my career depends on this project.
Ren Williams is now the star player with a notorious reputation, a body to die for and a pair of mischievous green eyes. And he has the audacity to try and flirt with me...as if I’d let that ever happen. Safe to say I learned my lesson the first time. ...or did I?
Okay, so here's the thing. I really enjoyed the first and second book in this series, and I enjoyed this one but I also had a really hard time with it.
There are some beautifully sweet moments in this book, and even some parts where Isabella comes across as a strong heroine but I found myself getting increasingly frustrated by the fact that there doesn't seem to be any character growth - she is mainly a 30 year old woman who is still acting like a teenager and not learning from her mistakes.
The storyline between Ren and Isabella, for the most part, is good but I'm starting to feel like she doesn't deserve Ren and he can do better - not a good sign when I'm rooting for the Hero to move on and find someone who deserves him.
All that said, I am still looking forward to reading the next instalment (hopefully, there will be some growth and Isabella will bring me back on side, plus I need that HEA!). The only thing I am super disappointed with so far is the majorly abrupt endings - but this could easily be fixed by combining the shorter books into 2 slighting longer books that cover the two different time periods.

This is book 3 of 5 in the "My brothers best friend" series although Ren and Gabe are no longer best friends. This book takes place 12 years after the events of the last book and reads as an enemies to lovers romance, sort of. Last time we had Isabella broken hearted and planning to never talk to Ren again but fate has other plans for these two. Isabella is now done with college and landed her dream job as a sports journalist and her first big assignment is interviewing the same team Ren happens to play for unbeknownst to her. When they see each other again, both are shocked as its been 12 years since they have had any contact but they try to stay professional. To clear the air, Isabella decides to sit down and talk to Ren about what happened all those years ago and much to her surprise its not at all what she thought. Duh. I even knew that. Teenagers lol Will these two be able to get past the past and maybe have a chance for the future or is it too late?
I enjoyed this book a lot better than the first two probably because everyone is a bit older and seemingly wiser than the past two books. Ren and Isabella had the same chemistry as always but they are both cautious as the way things ended really hurt both of them. Isabella has to forget everything she thought she knew and Ren has to come to terms with the fallout of his actions. I liked seeing them being playful with each other but I really wish that Isabella would stop being so difficult and give into what she really wants. I am excited to keep reading this series as I think it will only get better.
Make Me Hate You - Part 3 - A new opportunity opens doors long since locked
Make Me Hate You is the third book in the My Big Brother's Best Friend series and continues the story of Isabella Harris and Ren Williams. The series must be read in order as each book ends with a cliffhanger that is picked up in the next book, but it is so worth it. This book starts twelve years after the heartbreaking ending of the previous book. Isabella and Ren have been apart all these years, even though they have both still loved each other. But now Isabella has her dream career opportunity and is looking at the future she wanted. That is until she finds out it puts her right in front of the man she swore she would never see again. Yep Ren is back in her life whether she likes it or not, and this time it is going to be even harder. In order to make things easier for herself she decides that she does need to talk with Ren about what she saw on that Spring Break in Florida all those years ago. As it turns out what she saw was not what was actually happening. So now what happens and where do these two go?
This is the third book of five in the new “Off Limits” series and the book ends in a cliffhanger. You definitely need to read book one, “Make Me Wild” and book two “Make Me Miss You” before reading this book.
Written from both Isabella and Ren’s point of view, you learn that each has succeeded in achieving the goals they had set when growing up. The only problem with that is neither one truly seems happy and don’t seem to know why. Once the accidentally find each other, they are forced to spend time together. This leads to discovering why they are unhappy with their personal lives. Ms. Snow does an excellent job of telling the story so that we go thru all the feelings of hatred, forgiveness, friendship, laughter, drama, misunderstandings, and possibly romance with the couple.
This is another five star read that once again, I could not put down. Im looking forward to the next two books and hoping they written just as well as the first three.

We find Ren in the big leagues as a quarterback in San Francisco and a "lead player" in more than one category, especially women, and 12 years after Isabella shuts Ren out of her life after witnessing one heart breaking moment, one imperceptible moment.
Isabella's hard work towards her goals finds her being offered a position as the Senior Sports Reporter in a well known media company, Masterson Media, in San Francisco. Her first job being to follow the city's football team throughout the season doing continued interviews with the team, most notably though, the quarterback.
During their 12 years apart they realize that they each went separate ways with how they ended, but both were immersed in extreme loneliness and looking forward to their lost friendship being rekindled and nothing more.
Just when you feel the possibility of their HEA.... They pull themselves apart again..... Until Make Me Stay, maybe? This have me hope, heartache, and all "the feels".
In the 3rd story of the My Big Brother's Best Friend series - Make Me Hate You it’s 12 years later and Ren is a successful quarterback in San Francisco and his team is expected to win it all. To help boost the team they hire Materson Media to write a piece on Ren and the team. Isabella is offered a new job at Materson Media in San Francisco and right into the heart of this new story. Isabella is happy for this piece and once she finds out Ren is part of it they both have mixed feelings and unsure how to navigate their work. Ren has never moved on from Isabella and is a known playboy. These 2 go back and forth and once they come to an understanding they get along until Isabella cancels a Saturday night hand out for a real date. Isabella sticks to guns and goes to Ren looking for an answer about why he is so mad and magic happens for these 2 until Isabella has to take a temporary job in New York for a couple weeks, which turns into more. Unfortunately this part of the story ends with a cliffhanger! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Twelve years ago, Ren and Isabella broke up from his perceived betrayal. Over the years, both of them have become successful. Isabella has a new job in San Francisco, assigned to write articles about and conduct interviews with the football team for the season. Ren is now a talented professional quarterback in San Francisco and part of this team. But intent on talking with the coaches and team members, Isabella doesn’t see the quarterback walk into the room until she turns around and meets her past face-to-face. Will she be able to put their history aside to do the job she has trained for? Can they at least regain the friendship they have lost?
This is our chance to see Ren and Isabella meeting again after 12 long years. Both have advanced in their chosen careers. But there has to be some feeling still there. Will they find forgiveness? Is anything more possible, or has too much time passed for her to get wrapped up in his playboy lifestyle? Grab your copy and see where they end up before stepping forward into the next book.
This is the third book of the My Big Brother's Best Friend series. This book will have you on an emotional roller coaster ride. In this book Isabella gets a new job in San Francisco and is given the assignment of writing articles covering the football team. While setting up appointments with the coaches and team members the door opens and the quarterback walks in. This is the 3rd book in this fascinating series and needs to be read in order. After not setting eyes on each other for 12-years after a betrayal by Ren, Bella has finally landed her dream job as a sports journalist, and she feels ready to move on at last. Now fate has stepped in and they meet face to face, and they have both achieved the dreams they had growing up. Ren is a star quarterback who has a playboy reputation, but he has never really moved on from Isabella. No spoilers: this is a must-read series you will not be disappointed! This is a well written story which is an emotionally charged story, and is humorous, entertaining, heartbreaking, and filled with anger, drama, forgiveness, and love, which all leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Make Me Hate You is book 3 in this series by Gabrielle Snow and is Isabella and Ren's story. They have not seen each other since he betrayed her with another girl. Twelve years later she has a new job as a sports journalist. Her first big project it interviewing the local quarterback also known as her ex-boyfriend. Ren is now a star QB with the lifestyle that goes with it. When Isabella and Ren meet again, will this be their second chance and will they finally learn the truth of what happened all those years ago? Because despite the hurt and angry feelings and the time apart, they are still very attracted to each other.
Book 3 in the Ren and Isabella drama LOL. Isabella gets a job interviewing the members of the football team, not knowing that Ren her first love who she thought cheated but he didn’t played for. She has to interview him, so they set a time and the first interview goes not so good. They decided that friends is where they should stay. She goes on a date with a guy she met at the bar, it turns out to be a nightmare. Ren is having dinner with his team mates and sees her leave. He follows and they get together at his place. She leaves while he is sleeping. Now on to the next chapter!
It is now 12 years after the "Mary" incident and Isabella lands a new job in San Fracisco as a senior sports reporter. The second week at the job she is told she will be heading a project on the football team. At the first meeting she finds out that Ren will be the player she will be focusing on. Both are shocked, but need to work together to achieve success. Everything is running relatively smoothly when wham, Isabella knocks me for a loop. Again!
A long twelve years later, Isabella has just got a great new job and has relocated to San Francisco which unknown to her is where Ren has been for the last three years playing pro football. Neither of them has ever forgotten the other but do they have a future together? MF contemporary sports romance, second chance. Light romance with some mild angst....cliffhanger!!
Have to say, so glad I continued with this series, book 3 was by far the best so far. The 2 main characters Bella and Ren are reunited when their careers bring them together in the same city and having to work together for the 1st time in 12 years after a heartbreaking break-up. Once again this story leaves you wanting more.. counting down to book 4 release
This is book 3 in the series and I'm just loving everything about the book. Isabella is trying to be hold it together and nor fall back in love with Ren, he on the other side is not giving up on their chances of been together . I enjoyed every word and I'm so looking forward to the next book. An excellent book by the author. I received an ARC for my honest review
Isabella needs to grow up... Same characters twelve years on from Book 2. Whilst it seemed like destiny that these star crossed lovers should reconnect it also seems they take one step forward & then two back & I really want to smack some sense into the heroine. Maybe they'll get it right in book 4. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
The story of Ren and Isabella continues. We keep hoping that they will get their lives on track but until each of them learn from their mistakes and move forward, there are going to be issues between them.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Really enjoyed the next instalment for Ren and Isabella. What an ending also... desperate for the next book to see what’s in store for them. Good read and highly recommend the series so far!
This is the 3rd book in the my Big Brother's best friend series. This is the 3rd part that takes place 12 years later. How will things work out now. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
Ren & Isabella's journey continues. Good characters. It was an intriguing read. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
In the third book of the series it is twelve years later and Bella has ghosted Ren and tried to move on by concentrating on her career. Ren is in the big leagues now a quarterback and cannot forgive or forget how he was ostracized by the people closest to him until Bella crosses paths with him again after twelve years for an interview for her new job as senior sports reporter. Was there growth after twelve years for long awaited confrontations or will grudges, misunderstandings and hate destroy what could have been? I received an ARC for an honest review.
