It is an interesting listen, I like both the characters a lot. They have their own characters and I am glad to be able to accompany their short love story. Definitely an unconventional love, but I will not reject a love story so long as it's beautifully written, and this book was definitely well written. Their romance is cute, I like that the love making scenes do not feel generic, and that at least one character is not a perfect character and that does bring in some realism to the story.
The only thing that felt really disappointing was the later bits of the story. It felt rushed. The conflicts seemed to just dissolve so that the book can end and I was very intrigued by the conflict and would have wanted to see how everything played out, but it just felt like i was given a summary and the book ended.
Narration by Rodney Falcon is well done, he brought forth the character's desires very strongly and did a good job with the voices of both the main characters.
This was a fun listen. The age gap is definitely a controversial subject to some people but this one was written so well (and they are both legal adults) that the sneaking around was entertaining the whole time. Narration was done beautifully for this book as well.
