Finding Freedom
Cora was taken by the traffickers. Her being a police officer was a bit trickier. Anthony was so arrogant he paraded her in uniform for the men. As well as his face in front of the police camera. They were unable to find the trail that led to him. But there was no stopping Craig. The vampire of the group. Apart of the Bluff Lake Pack Craig scented his mate at the mansion. It just took a bit longer to track her down. If they waited any longer she wouldn't have made it. This book fits in perfectly with the rest. Loving them.

An adult read with some trigger topics. Interesting way to show the romance budding between Cora and Craig, they are strong characters with supernatural powers. The beginning is deep and dark. But after her rescue she finds true love.

Bruised
I am a huge fan of Prometheus Susan’s books. The Buff Lake series has captured me from the beginning. All the books in this series does involve sex trafficking although this one is lighter on it. In this one Cora is a police officer who was taken by the sex traffickers when she pulled the gut over for a speeding ticket. Craig is a vampire that wants to find his mate. When Craig and the other members of the Buff Lake Pack rescue Cora will she accept that she is the mate of a vampire or will she leave. Seriously I would recommend this if you are interested. I feel like Prometheus really captures the problems victims of sex trafficking face. 18+
