Jewelz Baxter lives with her husband in Louisiana near their children and grandchildren. She values her family and loves supporting their grandchildren's sports and hobbies.

Over the years Jewelz filled notebook after notebook with stories in her spare time. With her husband's encouragement, she shared those stories and received positive responses from others; prompting her to follow her dream and take the plunge of publishing.

When not writing or spending time with family she can be found on a Harley exploring the backroads with her husband. Jewelz has her own bike but confirms there is nothing like being on the back seat wrapped around her man.

Laying Brick

Absolutely love Brick and Nealy. He knows her so well and he always gets what he wants. Laying Brick is about Brick loving his wife, trusting her, watching her and knowing what she needs and wants. Simply taking care of her so he gets what he wants. Loving this series. Happy Reading!

Omg!! That was Fantastic!! Brick has always been my Absolute Favorite, but I think now he is my Solid #1!!

Brick is a man of few words, but his actions make up for them in all the ways that matter.
It is all about 'The Control', but in a different way then Nealy was thinking. Brick has control over Nealy in a loving way, a way of, he knows what she needs, when she needs to be taking care of, loved, what is in her best interests, putting her first. Control is not a bad thing when it is in the best interest and with love for our partner.

Brick is still my favorite! Love seeing them in their family setting, he's even more of a man of action instead of words. The dynamic with Nealy and Brick is the best. Can't wait for the next Voodoo Troops series!
