In this book, we’ll explore some of the more witchy, unconventional ways to use your tarot cards. When I first started learning about the tarot I discovered there were a lot of “rules”. I have been reading tarot cards for about 10 years, but I was totally self-taught by intuition and the guidebooks included in my tarot decks. Recently, I have been trying to perfect my craft, and so I've been looking for some introductory books on tarot. Being a fan of Julie Wilder's writing, I was excited to read this book. It's a great introductory book for those who are new to tarot, it answers common questions and dispels common myths. It has a very very basic breakdown of major arcana and minor arcana, it doesn't go into each individual card but breaks down the basics of each suit. This book also features information on how to use tarot cards in spell work, it even includes a few spells to try. All in all I would recommend this book to anyone new to tarot.
This is yet another great book by Wilder that is helping me so much in my ever-expanding journey into magic. Tarot is an area of magic that I have been especially interested in and I have been so excited for this book to come out. It is yet another great quick guide to introduce an area of magic. In a short amount of time Wilder is able to get through so much useful information about tarot while leading the reader to different directions, they may wish to explore. Overall a great introduction to what I see as the coolest magical tool.
This was a very enlightening book about Tarot. I appreciate the understanding of how the tarot cards work with spells and on their own. I also liked the reminders of all the references that are out there to get specific information on each Tarot card. Thank you Julie
This is a great book for tarot beginners. It was fast paced and informative. Would’ve loved to have some illustrative examples on how to spread tarot cards.
This is a great read for those beginning tarot. It’s fast paced and informative. Would’ve loved to have seen illustrations on tarot spread. Other than that a great read.
Very good beginner book on understanding the basics of tarot. It really breaks down what is going on without a massive list of all the cards and all their possible meanings
