Wasn't bad. I actually liked this hero more than the first book which seems to be the opposite for a lot of people, but the story I liked a bit less. An overall enjoyable, short read though.

Stealing His Princess de Ella Goode
Argumento:
Fui al Territorio de Vieth para celebrar una boda, no para reclamar una consorte para mi reino, pero ¿qué puede hacer un príncipe cuando encuentra a la princesa de sus sueños? ¿Ignorarla? ¿Correr en la dirección opuesta? No.
I don’t give Ella Goode bad reviews, but I feel like this book wasn’t on par.
Her last book was sensational. A new favorite of mine. This one just didn’t work for me.
You see, the first sexy scene just ended. There was no mention of her passing out or anything, it’s just [page turn] she’s wearing new clothes. I’m very confused. That doesn’t happen with Ella. The naughty stuff doesn’t happen off page. And if someone passes out from the joy and exhaustion of incredible orgasms, it’s mentioned immediately. She’s amazing at the naughty stuff. Was I missing a page or chapter or something? :(
I didn’t get all tingly with this story. I’m used to getting all tingly with Ella stories. It’s part of their appeal. Short, but sexy. I honestly didn’t feel it with this one.
Also, I felt like our hero was pretty cold. Sure that whole strong alpha royal ‘I get whatever I want’ thing is going on with him, but I never felt like he was particularly nice to her. I did like that he didn’t let her past make a difference to him. Here’s the thing though, he never actually asked her to marry him. In fact, he calls her his ‘consort’ during their second sexy times. That word usually equates to mistress in my experience. And mistress and romance heroine just doesn’t work for me.
Again, I don’t give Ella bad reviews. I truly love her books. But unfortunately, this one is just not my favorite. I still recommend it if you’re a fan of Ella’s work. Please tell me I’m wrong if you disagree. Maybe I’m just in a weird mood or something. But if you’re looking for your first Ella Goode book get Claiming His Queen and fall in love with it.
Ok, this was really bad. The guy was an arrogant asshole from the start. Sure, he's a Prince but so spoiled... Also, I did not feel the connection between them. No chemistry. Oh well... Onto the next one!
I absolutely love all of EG’s books, but for some reason I had a hard time connecting with this one. I didn’t really connect with the main characters and a lot seemed unfinished. It could have just been me though. Still love EG and can’t wait for the next story!!
Safe read Dual virgins No om/ow drama Epilogue at least 15 years out
"Stealing His Princess" is the story of MacKenzie and Sov.
Oookay.
Hero is this douchey king, who is coerced to go to a neighboring kingdom's ball. Spots hot heroine, chases her, makes her his sex buddy and soon proposes that she be his consort. There's some drama regarding her past and intentions and the book solves it all in a page, ending in a HEA.
Hero was quite unlikable and pompous. Heroine gave in too easily. Only part I liked was the epilogue.
This Cinderella smut romance is a cute mix of royal theme and dark mafia underground world.
The girl has an interesting job for a female organisation where cons and seduction are exercised by orphan women.
During a ball, she meets a prince soon to be king. It's all sparks and fiery passion that puts bodyguards on edge and lives upside down. I think it has funny situations with the prince's staff, and her vulnerable yet stubborn nature. He is very domineering and makes outrageous assumptions about her freedom.
I liked that he doesn't hold her past against her, and that the Vieth Orphans organisation is important in the plot.
Hot and entertaining. The epilogue is very cute, and I would love to read a story about Zero and his blushing neck :-D
This is such an easy read. Sov Charmont is a prince who is going to a ball. His mother hopes he finds a bride but he has no interest in finding a woman, until he sees MacKenzie, a Vieth orphan. What happens when MacKenzie let's him know she's not an easy girl? Will their chemistry and attraction be enough to go to the next level?
Sov is arrogant, funny and all Mackenzie needs. Sweet and funny story, full of steam and a bit of drama. Mackenzie finally realizes her worth. One of the funniest scenes in an epilogue that I’ve read!
Not a hit for me. It was a good book but I just didn't like it. The steam was so so and had some fade to black. 2/5. Also, I just didn't care for the love story. I liked the h a lot, she was sweet and interesting. I loved that she was an accountant and did the books for her organization. But everything else was just bla.
Ms. Ella is back with another great book! I really like Sov and Mackenzie together. I loved the pull that they felt for each other; their connection and chemistry was awesome. Sov is use control and to getting his way in all things but Mackenzie pushes his control to the max. I loved how when things were going done, Mackenzie seemed to grow a bit of a back with Sov and put her foot down about a couple of things. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see what Ms. Ella has in store for us next. I would recommend this book and Ms. Ella as a must author.
I received a free e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is the second book following the world of mob bosses, not sure when or where it is set, but you find out Sov is from the west coast and Aidon is east coast. Sov is the prince of his organization and is invited to Aidon and Cora’s wedding, not really wanting to attend he knows he is obligated to go. His mom wants him to attend to help him find a bride. When he arrives he is given a luxurious suite in the Vieth run hotel, he travels with everything else he needs, including food and a chef for his safety. He meets MacKenzie at the wedding and is immediately in love. Mack is a Vieth orphan who has been given refuge by Karin when she ran from her human trafficking family. She turned them in and went into hiding. She is very good with numbers and help do the accounting for Karin. She can’t believe her luck that such an handsome man like Sov would be interested in her. But she feels like she will never have a chance at some romance if she doesn’t take her chance with him. She thinks its temporary and Sov is playing for keeps. Drama when another Vieth orphan wants him and uses her families sordid history to sway Sov away from Mack. But he does not care, he loves her and his good name will squash any bad deeps of her family. He whisks her away in his plane to meet his parents and become his princess. Epilogue with children and them still madly in love.

I didn't hate this. Which is always a powerful way to start a book review.
My biggest beef with this novella overall was I just really felt like I've read these characters over and over again at this point. Same characters, different setting. Sov was this classic romance archetype of I could never love a woman, I'm too busy with work and world domination. And Mackayla was very "well, no man has ever paid me much attention before because I'm too busy doing math and working in a basement, so I must be undesirable."
I get that it is harder to fit unique personalities in 100 pages but Sov and Mackayla were so one-dimensional it was hard to root for them. Not to mention, Mackayla had all these girlboss impulses because Sov was genuinely demanding TOO MUCH from her, but every time she saw him she would fold like a hand of cards. Babydoll, you're allowed to have your own demands out of a relationship. That's called boundaries and compromising. I don't care if he's hot as sin and a billionaire. You're still a person.
I enjoyed this book very much. I love possessive, obsessed alpha stories, particularly when the heroine is an everyday woman, doing her thing and riling the guy up by not always complying with his expectations. This is that book. But...I feel like I started reading in the middle of a series. I just rechecked and there is no mention of a book series on the Amazon page but the references to Vieth orphans implied that they were something the reader already knows about. The same for the references to Karin Vieth’s daughter Clara and her man, Aidon. That said, the book was still enjoyable and makes me want to go figure out whether there are earlier books that will help me contextually.
Not exactly my favorite...and most definitely wasn't a great follow-up to the first one in this series. Sov just really rubbed me the wrong way. It's very rare that I hate a hero that Ella Goode gives up, but I just couldn't get past how cocky and arrogant Sov came across. I wasn't on board with him just assuming that Mack would give up her life to be with him either. To go behind her back and make arrangements with Karin without even letting her have an opinion just rubbed me the wrong way. There was also a first in this book that I haven't read from Ella Goode...she did fade to black sex scenes...I've never read something like this from her and I gotta tell ya, getting spoiled with all the great and steamy sex...but then to have this one go the way it did was not great.
𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 was an interesting mix of a fairytale story taking place in the powerful merging of underground organizations territories. Ella Goode does a great job once again making a powerful alpha that has never had someone go against his wishes fall to his knees for his one true love, and it was very entertaining to read about the fall of Prince Sov. One look at sweet Mackenzie and Sov was literally star struck! I love that Mackenzie was equally as attracted to Sov but she held her ground and didn’t make anything easy for him. The story was great, previous characters were mentioned, there are plenty of sexy times, and an epilogue 15 years out.
This is an insta attraction romance between Sov and Mackenzie. Sov is a prince who gets whatever he wants but doesn’t expect to meet a woman that changed his way of thinks and challenges everything he has grown up knowing.
From the moment they meet it’s a fast paced attraction that grows stronger and stronger and I felt each emotion they share. This book made me swoon, laugh, fan myself because wow the scenes these two wow but I was left with content smile. I love reading anything Ella Goode so book was a quick read that I’d happily read again. I devoured this book so easily and I read it one sitting.
I enjoyed reading the first part of this book, but then it just ended. The only conflict is him chasing after her, they screw, her slipping away because she was scared, and then he semi kidnapped her and convinced her to go back with him. The End. I think the story should have had some sort of major hurtle for the couple. He was a prince, but he was also kind of one note. He was arrogant, used to ALWAYS getting what he wanted by any means. I would have liked it better if the prince would have been knocked on his toosh a tiny bit and he had to work a little for her. Very dom sub type relationship but without very much respect. IMO.
Err… 🤔 did not capture me into the world and I was confused about scene changes, moods, etc. it didn’t really line up well like other books of hers I’ve read. I didn’t realize this was #2 in the series so maybe that had something to do with it… but either way scenes just stopped mid-action and then all of a sudden it’s a new day or later and there’s new outfits and entirely different stuff happening. And the epilogue was weird, it went from current time to 15 years later without mentioning it until the tail end.
Sov is a arrogant Prince used to have all his orders obeyed. The last thing he expects when at a wedding is to be attracted to one of the infamous Vieth orphans, known for their art in seducing men and robe them of not only their pride but their money too. He doesn't care anyways. The only thing he knows is that he just found his future queen. Highly recommended
Like some other reviews I agree that the term "consort" was a little off putting and the interactions with the 'H' and 'h' wasn't like most beloved Ella Goode characters the story was still a decent story. What I feel was missing was the climax. There wasn't a noteworthy drama moment in the story like the previous book. This was just a short nice story. Hopefully the next one will intrigue me like the first one. Happy reading!
