I am the author of this edition (2020) and the second edition (2022). Steven D. Lyons, the artist who contributed 59 of his masterful expressionist paintings to the book (and a lifelong friend), passed away less than 6 months after the first edition was published, after a long battle with brain cancer. After regaining exclusive rights to the book from the first publisher, the second edition was reformatted for more visual appeal of the images and text. Steve's biographical information was also updated to reflect his passing. Other than reformatting and minor edits, the second edition text is otherwise relatively unchanged. Both editions were designed to help the reader to get out of their head and the hamster wheel of repetitive thoughts, to move into a more reflective space, conducive to inspiration and change.
