i’ve been waiting to get my hands on this book since forever and now that i’ve finally read it, i’m at peace. sure, i cried like a big baby throughout the book but i do not regret reading it and the book definitely is worth the wait. the storyline was tragically beautiful, the poems were heartbreakingly entrancing, the characters were loveable with great chemistry and overall, the author has done such a wonderful job portraying islam in such a positive and beautiful manner and i appreciate that so much. i definitely recommend people reading this, it’s so worth it. also make sure to keep tissues with you if you do read it XD
ive seen snippets here and there on tumblr. she is incredibly nice and i was always drawn to her writing. and let me tell you this first part titled 'isra and khalid' broke me. it was short and yet poignant. her other poems were really good too but couldn't grip me as much as the short story. after all solid and beautiful.
okay ma sha Allah this was absolutely wonderful ✨ so beautifully written, ma sha Allah.
all of the poems were lovely and soothing but the best parts of the book were the tiny love stories. i especially loved the one with isra and khalid. beautiful and heart-wrenching. i cried.
now i just need a book filled with such tiny heartwarming love stories. so request to the author — please write one!!! BarakAllahu feeki 🌸
honestly this book made me cry and it gave me chills because of how deep and just how relatable it is. has it become one of the best books i've ever read? of course. do i have a slight obsession with this book and will recommend it to everybody i meet? definitely.
This is one of the most beautiful collection of poetry I have read. It hit me so hard. These were exactly the words I needed at this moment... MashaAllah, just beautiful
