Rate this book
A true story of a father’s fight to keep raising his children.

A Storm of Lies illuminates the real-world problem of one spouse lying about the other to gain advantage during a custody dispute. The situation is one that many parents face but few share in such detail.

With insight and candor, Randy Zinn invites us into his world as a parent fighting to ensure that the truth of his loving relationship with the children shines through. The memoir is a deeply personal tour through the role that emotions play in our lives and a portrait of what it means to be human.

I read where one reviewer said that poor Sophia had postpartum and clinical depression. What a cop out. Let's face it, she is a USER, i.e. one who uses people and situations for her own selfish and devious ends, having no regard for how others are affected (including her own children). Creating one's own reality and expecting the world to buy into it is not only sick, but it also wreaks havoc and heartache for those around them. Maybe, a more accurate name for her condition is PSYCHOPATH.

How wonderful that those children have a father who was willing to put himself through hell in order to see that they had a chance at happiness.

This book reminds me that this is not an isolated case. Unfortunately, the welfare of the children is often NOT the reason custody is sought. Deception, revenge, and jealousy, are nasty evils.

Good for you, Mr. Zinn! Enjoy your children and instill in them your sense of integrity.

Though sometimes a little slow going in some places this was a good read. It was well written. I was in shock at how far some will go to keep their kids away from the other parent. At tremendous expense, an excessive amount of time, and more strength that I would have had (in a lot of this), Randy fought for his children and what was best for them. Some parts of the book I wanted to reach out and smack the woman and then when reading what he was saying to his daughter after she was born, I cried (it was really sweet).

Yikes! This "Writer" is Delusional!

This book is disgusting. The author has no insght into his ex-wife's obvious postpartum and clinical depression and acts as if the collapse of his marriage had nothing whatsoever to do with him. He takes resposibility for absolutely nothing, and has zero compassion or insight. What a tool.

I received this ebook through the Vorachious readers website in exchange for a review.
The book is written with a great deal of detail and at times i found the experience very stressful! This father was eloquent enough to fight for his rights, unlike many parents on the outside.
