Evan Butler has often been described as arrogant, grouchy, and inflexible. He just liked to say he was always right. When the wrong package is delivered to his house for the second time, he prepares to put a smile on his face and play nice with the new neighbor to bring it to its rightful owner. What he didn’t expect was the beauty that was going to make him realize that sometimes in life you’re wrong and you need to learn to compromise.
Parker Reed has had family pressure and competition shoved in her face her entire life. She’s always felt she had a handle on it. But when her sister dies, she realizes that life shouldn’t all be about getting to the top of the ladder. Only how do you change what you’ve always known and done? And when the sexy neighbor across the street enters her life, she realizes that maybe long term plans and goals aren’t the only things she should be focusing on anymore.
Evan Butler was stubborn, grouchy and didn’t like neighbors. That is until Parker moved in next door. Parker Reed was one stubborn, strong willed woman that didn’t need a man in her life, or did she? What happens when two stubborn, strong willed people fall in love? You guessed it, lots of sparks. This is a great addition to the Paradise Place series. This book can be read as a stand alone or enjoyed as part of the Paradise Place series. I recommend reading the whole series. No one else writes family like Natalie Ann.
This book was another great one from Natalie Ann and another addition to Paradise Place Series. Evan Butler and Parker Reed meet when a package for Parker is delivered to Evan by mistake. They are both strong and likeable characters and I loved them both. They meet when they get each others deliveries and their story unfolds. Evan doesn't care much for neighbors but when Parker moves across the street, his opinion changes. Parker is stubborn and strong willed, it’s a beautiful well written story on how they fall in love. Natalie has outdone herself to keep the story moving
I was intrigued by the way new neighbors Evan and Parker met by getting each others deliveries. Parker was tough and stubborn to where she would do anything to not have to accept help. She works hard to be successful at whatever she sets her mind to. Evan has a take charge attitude, which doesn't always go well with her need for independence. I liked her brothers Marcus and Evan and I'm looking forward to reading more about them in future books.
This book was another great one from Natalie Ann. Parker was so strong that luckily a package wrongly delivered got her to meet Evan. Parker did not realize how much she needed Evan, not to do anything she was too fiercely independent. Parker needed Evan for herself. It was a beautiful story of strength and companionship that led to a happily ever after.
