Fun, sexy mexy, plenty of action and yes at times tears.

This is by far the best series and the offspring series I have read this year.

The complex threads that Giulia weaves her stories, and her characters keeps you coming back for more. You will be riveted to the pages and find that hours have passed by the time you manage to pull yourself away.

You will laugh your arse off when you are not sweating through the action.

Reed Security Series - Box 4 - Books 10 - 12 - By -  Giulia Lagomarsino

Book 10 - Burg - Reed Security Series

Burg is the tenth book in the Reed Security Series and it was absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful. I laughed out loud as I always seem to with this author she is so funny, swooned at the scorching heat she gave us and enjoyed the drama and action as she never fails to deliver something brilliant. However with this book I also cried so much as I went on this journey with the characters which is something I rarely do but the emotions were so strong I just couldn't help myself. It truly was an outstanding read with so much information it also gave an education into another perspective of how much a terrible situation affects all sides. Simply incredible. This story focuses on Blake "Burg" Reasenburg and his woman Emma. They met and it was insta love and scorching heat and complete happiness. They had the full dream, love, new home, married and a baby, Emma had her bookshop, Blake had Reed Security it was all so perfect then BAM out of no where that despicable illness cancer comes along with the hopes of destroying everything good in its wake. Together they fought this enemy but they were not alone. Their families helped, Emma's mum and best friend Ivy were there and all of the family from Reed Security helped showing that sometimes a chosen family is worth more than one that shares the same DNA. This story had ups and downs, highs and lows but even through all the tears this beautiful story kept me engaged throughout as we all embarked on this journey through the pages together. The impact of Cancer before, during and after treatment. How it affects not just the patient with the diagnoses but those around them. It dealt with PTSD and how that affects those suffering with it and those around. How with having truly great friends and family you can get through anything with time, patience and trust. And also some guidance in stalking from Knight. The hilarious moments definitely balanced out all tge other stuff. Such as when the guys found out Burg was having a son, Ryker. Sinner with the dating profile. Cap and Knight and the rest of the guys with the daycare cantre/child training facility, just hilarious! Plus numerous other parts. This is definitely the story that keeps on giving. Claire and Derek's wedding was the cherry on the cake. I really cannot rate this book highly enough it definitely deserves more than 5 stars no question. This author has quickly become one of my favourite ones to read above all else. She is an automatic one click for me and this is the book that prives why that is. She has the ability to create characters and stories tgat stay with you long after the book has finished and that is a true but rare gift. I highly recommend that all books within this series are read in order to fully appreciate the characters and storylines. I can't wait to see what is going to happen next! On to the next one. Happy Reading.

Book 11 - Gabe - Reed Security Series

Gabe is book eleven in the Reed Security Series and it was such an enjoyable and humorous read the decompress after the heaviness but beautiful story of Burg the previous book. Gabe Moore is a trusted member of Reed security, loyal and totally badass. He enjoys certain tastes in the bedroom that his team mates tease him about and he is determined to remain a bachelor with no attachments however after a one night stand that blew his mind he is now more determined than ever to get the woman of his dreams and make her and her two adorable kids his future forever.
Isabella/Isa is a newly single mother with two beautiful children Vittoria/Tori who is five and Lorenzo/Enzo who is two. Isabella also happens to be the younger sister of Sam/Cazzo and you can imagine how protdctibe if her he is and his actions and reactions are priceless throughout. Isabella is trying to figure out how to rebuild her life, complete her divorce as Matteo is resisting, start her new job and manage to keep her two small children happy. When she goes out wanting to forget everything she meets Gabe and her life will never be the same again. This is such a great story, packed with steamy scenes with Isa and Gabe.  The relationship Gabe forms with Isa is everything. He is so sure she and her two children are his future and he just has to convince her. It was so good to read. I loved Gabe's relationship with Enzo it was completely adorable. Vittoria took a little longer to warm up to Gabe but they share some cute scenes too. The chats between Isabella and Aurora are so funny and let's not forget the advice gifted by the guys at Reed Security and their girls. Hilarity always ensues when these guys try to resolve a situation concerning their women. Even on their Wedding day Hunter/Pappy and Lucy were still sassing each other it was funny. But again the guys always steal the show. Jackson looks like the love bug might have got him soon and I cannot wait for Chance to find the right woman seeing him fall will be beautiful. There is still action and drama but at the heart of it all is family and that is what sets thus author and her writing apart and makes her stories and characters real and keeps you invested in them and what will happen next. I highly recommend that all books within this series are read in order to fully appreciate the characters and storylines. I can't wait to see what is going to happen next! On to the next one. Happy Reading.

Book 12 - Jules - Reed Security Series

Jules is the twelfth book in the Reed Security Series and it was absolutely brilliant! (Like it was even a question, this author's writing is quickly becoming an addiction. It's really that good!) This story features around Julian "Jules" Siegrist and Ivy Mitchell/Stewart. We have met Jules in other books and he is a funny and likeable character. We initially saw him getting together with Ivy in the tenth book titled Burg. Ivy is Emma's bestie and they work and live together. We learnt in that story that Ivy holds a secret that she is ashamed of and doesn't feel that she can open up to Jules about it, or anyone for that matter. She fears the more people that know the truth that they will hate her or put her life at risk. After spending two years with Jules she falls in love with him but is just to scared to commit to him completely. Jules loves Ivy with everything in him but he feels she is pushing him away and her desire to keep secrets is affecting his ability to trust her. When Jules' team is on a job he stops at nothing to protect his brothers, his immediate family/team mates Ice and Chris and ends up with life threatening injuries as a result. Whilst he is recovering it soon comes to light that he is also suffering from amnesia and he is unable to remember much of anything including his family of Ice and Chris also his extended family of Reed Security and their wives. They are all familiar but not enough that he can remember them clearly but Ivy and their two year relationship is a blank spot in his memory that he just cannot find. This story was so well written focusing on Jules' recovery and frustrations he encounters as he tries to heal his body and mind and put pieces of his life back together and figure out who he was before the accident and who he is now, along with reconnecting with his chosen family that is everyone associated with Reed Security. Also he has to figure things out with Ivy which is not as straight forward as either thought it would be. We see things from Ivy's perspective as she tries to be understanding of Jules' situation, giving him space and we see how she feels about being pushed aside and forgotten even though it isn't his fault it still hurts her deeply. They also have to figure the future out which is another obstacle to face along with a threat that tries to destroy the moments of happiness they do find together. This story is so well thought out and put together. We go on the journey with the characters through a roller coaster of emotions as the story moves along. Their is heat, happiness, heartbreak, humour and most of all family. The team has your back what ever happens. Ice and Chris share some humorous moments with Jules throughout. Cap is still trying to keep everyone in line and Knight is just everything! The drama and action continue to keep you engaged but the main focus of this story was the couple themselves. I can't wait to see who falls next! On to the next story! I highly recommend that all books within this series are read in order to fully appreciate the characters and storylines.

Burg
I swear I was all over with emotions with these books. If it wasn't me laughing one minute, I was crying the next. Burg's story will have your heart breaking. After finding the one woman who completes him, it tends to take a turn for the worst. Not with some killer coming for them in a way you might think, but in a way that they might not even make it alive. Not a they in that sense, but a who. Emma was the one, she was the smart perfect woman for Blake. They got pregnant, and married right away. It was just something that they did. After having the baby, Emma noticed something about her body that wasn't right.
Burg and Emma went through hell in this story. They fought through the tough times, but in the end, one of the was bound to give up. It had taken a toll on their marriage, but also, in the sense of one was still fighting while the other was about to give up. Nothing was working, and it was almost the end, until it wasn't. Yes, this story was an emotional one, but in the end, everything happened for a reason, and what did you expect from a Reed Man?

Gabe: Talk about fighting the dragon. When you take a one night stand home from a bar, and have the best night of your life with them, only to find out she's still married, has kids, and is the sister to one of your teammates, things are about to take a turn for the worst. Cazzo isn't too happy that Gabe is sleeping with his sister. A sister who is still married and is trying to help her fix her marriage. Isa doesn't want to fix her marriage. That ship has sailed, but everything is about to go up in flames when Gabe and Cazzo get involved in Isa's life. Her ex-husband wants her back, and it take a lot of bad mouthing Isa for Cazzo to see what his brother in law really is. Not the same person he thought. Now, can Cazzo accept that Gabe will be around for more than just a teammate, and can Gabe convince Isa they were made for each other?

Jules:
He's always wanted the woman who was always on the run, only he didn't know it at the time. She was hiding from her past, but never told anyone the real reason. Now, being involved with Jules for more than a year, everything is coming around full circle for her. Her past is coming back to haunt her and it might be the end. With everything that is going on, someone from her past is out to get her, even though she had nothing to do with it, but when Jules makes the quick decision to stay behind on a mission to make sure his teammates go home to their families, everyone is shocked to know that Jules has a case of Amnesia. Ivy spent a week by his side when he was in a coma, but when he wakes up and has no idea who she is, things might never be the same for her and Jules, unless he remembers her.
Now with a past threatening to put her behind bars for some crazy things she doesn't even remember doing, Jules has to make a quick decision on whether the woman everyone claims he loves is innocent or guilty, no that she's pregnant with their child. The antics in this story are ones to make you giggle as your read, but your heart will go out to this couple on more than one occurrence.

Reed Security Box 4!

This box set is worth more than five stars ,double it!Especially Burg's and Emma 's story! It was such a beautiful love story to turn tragic. It was so hard to read the breast story even after being worned about it before ,but they truly fought hard and refused to give up,it was beautiful to read, and I cried from start to finish and I'm still crying while trying do this review. Gabe's story was just what I needed, lots of laughs.Ivy and Jules's story was another storyline, from the beginning to the end!I do think if Ivy told Jules her secret past it might save some steps,I thought Jules 's was a goner in that last shoot out but he came back but almost to late. That Rachel was sew mean and hateful to do everything she did to Ivy,from paying someone to spike her drinks to murder some poor defense women because her ex boyfriend killed her husband and Ivy was innocent! In Gabe and Isabella 's storyline I really got a laugh Isa's son learn to use his little wanker,I just burst out laughing. Another laugh was when Isa's brother found out those doing the nasty behind his back. For anyone that hasn't read these books you, just have hankies handy, just don't give you will miss out!

Used all my emotions

All three of the books in this box set were great. Each is so different that you don’t feel like you’re reading the same book with different names. The men from Reed Security and their wives still show up for each other, but the problems and solutions are different and show the way we all should be brave enough to be. The first book shows the struggle of 2 people, Emma and Burg, who finally find love only to have their lives threaten by a life ending health issue. The second one is with Gabe and Isabella, Cazzo's younger sister, who has 2 young children, an ex-husband who wants her back and a that brother who forgets she is grown. This one is full of humor. I actually laughed out loud a few times. The last one is with Jules and Ivy. Watch for them in the first book, there is an unforgettable scene there. This one has two tragedies one at the beginning and another the end. Both could be life ending, but the friends do all they can with helping with each. I enjoyed all three.

Knight for the win

If like to point out that Burg and Jules stories were heartbreaking for different reasons. I felt for Jules so much because he lost everything and had to relive painful memories. I know Burg did too and PTSD is a challenge that so many face on a day to day basis. Knight always pulls through for every member of the team even though he hates social events he is always there when he's needed without having to be asked. Gabe was happy and I'm sure a tad bit masochistic. Jules and Ivy deserved the happiness they found.

What a rollercoaster storyline!

This is one of the most emotional storylines I have ever read. Incorporating painful real life scenarios. Couldn't put this down, even when the tears were running down my face. Oh my goodness. Gabe's story again everyday situations. Knew that Jules and Ivy would get together but can't wait to see what their angle is. I did think that the culprit was getting to Ivy using the key stashed above her door. On to the next one😘

Great reads - books 10-12

Great reads - books 10-12
I have read all of the books in this series, one after the other. I have laughed till my sides were sore and often cried too. The backstories are brilliantly thought out and explain why these alpha males and super-alpha females are together. With the addition of the children and the extended families and friends - the suspense is well done and it is so obvious there is never going to be a happy ending for anyone who seeks to take on Reed Security.

So relatabld

I am a survivor of triple negative, adrogen receptor breast cancer. I was in the category of less than 4% of even getting this...but I did. I could so relate to Emma. All the books in this series were so emotional. Crying one minute...laughing the next. Giulia you are my hero!!!

Good story

Good story, winding, and intense in areas. The last scene with ivy and jules getting freaky was too much. 🍑 action is def just...nope. I can def do without that.
Beyond that, I feel the ending was a bit anticlimactic. We don't see ivy giving birth and jules reaction. So that was just a bit dull.

So fun

OK, so the banter of these men when they try to understand women has me laughing my butt off. Seriously, theses men are fierce alphas and they are such adorable goofballs that I can't get enough of them.

I've read all the first ones. I liked them all some more than others. I wish there weren't so much cussing, the stories are all great and people from the first ones are part of the last ones.I will continue until I read them all though

Nonstop adventures, steamy scenes lots of suspense, and romance with happily ever afters.

I like how each book seamlessly leads into the next one, also the recurring characters in each story, as well as new characters. Would only recommend for mature readers.
